Both times I have used BK Plumbing and Bath I have received prompt, professional and courteous service. It's nice to know there are businesses out there who value delivering great customer service at a reasonable price. I highly recommend them for any plumbing issue.

It was a Saturday morning I was tightening connections on the bathroom sink water supply lines when I felt the pipe go loose behind the drywall. I cut out the drywall and determined the 30 year old solder had deteriorated. I don't have the tools for soldering copper pipe and know it is not as easy as it looks. I have never had to hire a plumber in my life and was not looking forward to it. I searched Angie's list and chose BK Plumbing in Surprise. Amazingly there were able to come out on a Saturday in about an hour and a half after I called. Junior was the plumber and he was polite, clean, courteous and considerate. The work was completed within an hour and included putting in new on/off valves under the sink which he recommended as they are a newer type then the valves I had, but he did not push them on me. I chose to have him do them and save myself the time. He also recommended I use a new liquid type of Teflon on threaded joints in the future versus the old tape Teflon I had been using. Junior left the area clean andI will definitely go to BK for my next plumbing job.

Gary (not sure if he is the owner) I spoke to him a couple of times on the phone. He was very friendly and easy to work with. I enjoyed talking to him. The person he had initially sent out on 9/29 was not very professional, worked slowly, and didn't seem very knowledgeable. on 10/1 when the services were completed. That same guy came back, plus someone else who did the attic work. The employee who worked in the attic took on, what appeared to be a supervisory role, with the other employee...and motivated him to get his work completed. The garbage disposal (cost and repairs) I was pleased with. The employee who worked in the attic seemed very knowledgeable and I hope you did a good job (I didn't see a picture of what he did and didn't go in attic to check) That price seemed high for what he had to do. The bathtub faucet repair (completed by initial guy) cost seemed high...but stated the part was expensive. I felt that was done sloppy...he didn't even caulk when he completed the work. Gary gave me a 10% discount for being an Angie's list member and worked with me on getting paid out of escrow money. This was a difficult review...mainly due to the employee who came out on 9/29 and then again on 10/1. Prices seemed fair to high. As far as communication and punctuality...they get an A+ for that.

The Technician arrived on time; explained what steps he would take; and calmly, professionally did his work. He answered questions without defensiveness; he finished and tested his work within an hour. I have used BK Plumbing for a couple of years and am never disappointed with the ease of scheduling, the quality of the services, and any follow-up needed at the office with questions or concerns. This is an ethical, reliable firm led by CEO Gery King, who personally relates to all customers. I have recommend BK to my friends and neighbors.

It was fine. I had no problem at all. They were very nice. My husband has a hard time communicating with people and the guy was very patient and was very nice. Everything was fine. They have good customer service. He explained everything. He was very patient with us whose older people. He did what he needed to do. I didn't feel intimidated at all. I thought it was reasonable for whathe did. I don't remember him being late.

Refused to have the service done. I told the plumber that I knew how much the part was and that he was charging 5x the amount . He said it was a flat rate and I told him no thank you. 38.99 was retail. I know they get things discounted. I understand making a profit but this was beyond ridiculous. I went out and bought the part and had it istalled by someone else for 1/3 of the price. I wouldn't recommend this company to anyone.

I moved into a home 2 weeks ago. The toilet in the master bath will at random times run for about 10 seconds and shut back off. Along with that, there is just an overall musty smell in the bathroom. I was concerned the smell might be being caused by a leak somewhere. I purchased the offer $50 for $75 worth of work. The gentleman that I spoke with when creating the appointment was very knowledgeable and helpful. I explained both concerns to him. He gave me some helpful information like pouring some apple cider vinegar in the drains to see if that cleared things out. I did do that and flushed them for a long time, but the smell still lingers. The appointment was scheduled for a week out, at my request, as I was in the middle of moving. Shortly before the tech arrived, I received a call from a pleasant woman letting me know he was on his way. My dealings with everyone other than the tech himself we're professional and helpful. The tech arrived, I lead him to the bathroom and explained both issues. Regarding the smell, I explained to him the advice that I was initially given regarding the vinegar and he didn't acknowledge what I was saying at all, like he didn't know anything about that technique or why I did it. He said maybe the house was vacant for a long time. An understandable point, but I told him that it was not, and especially since I had moved in, I had been running water through the drains. He said he didn't smell anything. I was already lacking confidence in the tech at this point, just from his overall demeanor and the way he talked - so I just let it go and said fine, let's just look at the toilet. It is a push button toilet. The very first thing he says to me is that he is unable to get any parts for a push button toilet. I said - so if there is a leak of any kind - you can't fix it? He said no, the supply store doesn't carry supplies for it, he can't find any. So he removes the back lid and stands there looking in, for several minutes. I told him it's very random when it decides to run. He kept just standing there looking in. Not touching anything in the tank or fiddling with anything - just standing in one spot staring into the tank. I then said well, is there some way you can check if it is leaking, even without it running? He then said he would go get some dye and see if it leaked from the tank into the bowl. He did that, and it did not leak into the bowl. I am a very reasonable person. I understand that the issue I am explaining may be difficult to diagnose. I asked him some questions - just trying to get some more information on what may be causing it to randomly run. I asked - since the dye isn't leaking into the bowl - is there another reason that might cause it to run off and on? He didn't answer anything I asked, and just kept saying that fixing that type of flushing mechanism was't possible. I just couldn't believe that. I said - so if the dye did leak into the bowl, and it was determined that there was a leak, you couldn't fix it? He said correct, that I would need to get a completely new toilet. Then under the lid for the tank is an 800 # printed on the toilet. He tells me I could call them to see if they could help. I said that's why I called a plumber, that's what you are here for. Then he says he could get me prices for new toilets. At that point I said no, please just go. He left, but then sat parked outside my house for 15+ minutes. He didn't leave until I walked outside and then he quickly pulled away. After he left, just for my own sanity, I looked on youtube and found many videos on how to repair parts on push button toilets. The tech was not knowledgeable at all. I gave a D rating, because the people I talked to over the phone were helpful, so I didn't want to give an F rating. I'm just very disappointed in the tech's overall lack of knowledge, or even willingness to help or explain anything - just kept saying he couldn't get parts for that kind of toilet - for me to buy a new toilet? or for me to call the 800# on the toilet for help, really? My $50 was for nothing. UPDATE - I did not use or flush the toilet the remainder of the day after the tech left, and by the end of the evening there was purple dye in the bowl. I DO have a leak and received zero help, knowledge or suggestions from the tech - other than to call the number on the toilet or buy a new toilet. Wow.

I checked with the plumber afterwards. It took approximately 15 minutes and I asked him to make sure the toilet was fixed by flushing it several times. I was very happy with the service and accommodations and will use them again.

The installation of the new pop-ups (I provided the new pop-ups) was quick and done well. 2 plumbers did the job (I think 1 was a trainee). I asked about smells coming from the bathroom sinks, and they cleaned both traps and pipes (no more smells!). The sinks look and smell great - I couldn't be happier with the service.

Called about 20 - 25 minutes before coming out as they said they would. Junior was professional and got the job done quick and works great.

I was notified by my water company that there had been unusual usage of my water during a 2 week period. As there was no one at the house during that time, they assumed a leak on my property. I contacted BK and they came out the next day. They were prompt and thorough, checking for any possible sources of the leak. They found none, as we suspected. This was reported to the water company, which maintained the water usage was accurate even though no evidence of damage was found. BK's representatives, both on the phone and on scene, were very nice and their price more than fair. I would definitely use them again when needed and would recommend them without hesitation.

That went well. I had to buy a new faucet. They couldn't fix the old one. I didn't purchase a faucet because I thought maybe there was a chance that they could repair that was a delta, but the guy said no, there was no way he could get into it to repair it. That's when I said, "Well, okay, give me the standard kitchen faucet", and they did. Nothing unexpected. They were able to install it and it works fine.

Overall, a great experience. I will be recommending to my friends and family.

The plumbing technician Jeremy showed up promptly as scheduled, was knowledgeable about the service repairs and was able to quickly reach his supervisor with questions. The company was flexible with its scheduling and someone came out right away. I requested quotes for other services and they were able to provide that as well. I'm very happy with my service and will recommend them to others.

When I purchased the deal on Angie's List I messaged them to specify that we just need an existing single hold/no base plate kitchen faucet replaced. When the plumber got here, he said it would be an extra $165.00 on top of the $50 (for $75 worth of service) we already paid. He also said "I need another person. It's going to take several hours. And, I need to get this adapter which is about an hour drive away." WHAT?!?! What adapter? My husband asked him, I asked him, and it was like a comedy skit of "Who's on first". "Can you reuse the existing adapter? ", "Yes. I can unscrew it and screw it back on.", "So...why do you need another adapter?", "I need an adapter for the adapter. And, is it OK if the Reverse Osmosis isn't hooked up? I don't work with those much." So, after over an hour of trying to communicate with the plumber of why he needed parts and labor that didn't make sense, we finally asked him to leave and let him know we'd be requesting a refund. We found another plumber on Angie's List. They were out the next day, installed the faucet (in under an hour) with zero issues. We told him of our experience regarding the other plumber and he said "It's tight down there for sure, but it's a basic faucet installation. I'm not sure why he couldn't do it just like I did with everything you provided." Very disappointing experience. We would not recommend BK Plumbing and Bath.

Miguel was great! He was on time and very pleasant wto work with. He hard wired the pump into the fountain but the stream of water was not as expected due to a clog in the tubing. He went the extra mile and helped me clear out the tubing and then the fountain worked perfectly! He even added a little silicone to the box to protect the wiring. I contacted this company on Wed night, used Angie's list scheduling to suggest times and by Fri AM it was fixed and ready to go! Fantastic experience with this company! Highly recommend it to others!

Came on time, found that a small part needed to be fixed. we were expecting to replace the water heater. work performed professionally, and workman was pleasant. Well done.

We had bought a replace tub/shower faucet but it wasn't right. Junior ordered a new one for us from his supplier (cost less than the one we bought at Home Depot) and came out again when it arrived. We were only charged one trip charge. He easily found the reason for the kitchen sink leak and was done in minutes. We will always call them whenever we need plumbing work performed.

After a new granite floor was installed in the kitchen we could not get to the dishwasher to perform any maintenance. They took care of the issue pronto.

My daughter came home from college and her shower didn't work. I found BK Plumbing on Angie's List and they came out the same day. They fixed the shower quickly and for a very reasonable price. I will use them again and would recommend them to my friends and neighbors.

Since we had a leak in the water heater, the cost was covered by Old RepublicHome Protection, our Home warranty insurance so I only had to pay the deductible.. Not only did Junior drain and replace the old water heater, he also ran a new relief line due to code violation of existing relief line. Had to run the line to the outside of the house since it previously ran up high and into the wall.(Previous owner) Replaced flex lines and shut off valve. He was prompt, efficient, and neat as was his assistant. We were very pleased and will use this company again.

Showed up on time, did the job and checked for other problems. Very kind and well mannered. Will use this company again.
