Stoddart's Lock and Safe

Contacted Scott and was able to get a service appt scheduled within a couple of days. Terry contacted us when he was a few minutes away. Was very prompt and had all of the re-keys done very quickly. Highly recommend Stoddart's.

We scheduled an appointment for between 3-5pm. Mark called and said he had an emergency but could come later that evening. We were heading out of town the next morning so agreed. He called when he was on his way and we met him at our house at 7pm. Mark was very professional and made several great recommendations for the security of our new home. He was quick in re-keying the doors and made a recommendation for our sliding glass door that we adopted. $65 for the service call plus $10 per door re-keyed with 4 new keys. I rated a B on punctuality because they did not make our scheduled time but were very good about calling ahead and rescheduling.

I needed fast service to accomodate a family member in the hospital who required my attendance. With one days notice the owner was willing to meet me any time and gave me the first opening of the next morning appointments. I had traveled on an emergency, and didn't have a printer to print the coupon, so the owner honored it without and gave an additional discount since I didn't utilize all its services. After the service was provided, I returned home late to find a problem with one of the locks which was a "smart lock". I called the owner and he offered to meet me that evening or anytime in the A.M. He meet me at 5am the next morning so that I wouldn't be delayed with my planned travels. I appreciated the companies willingness to work with me under difficult scheduling and would use them in the future. Very punctual, professional, and nice company.

I purchased a big deal for the service. This was the first time that I used them. The guy was really good, he spent a lot of time. One of my latches was not fitting well, and a few days later, he brought me a replacement without a charge. The price and quality were excellent. They came out the next day, and that was good.

I purchased the 6 locks re-key deal. The service was great and both Scott and Terry were professional. Additional locks were re-keyed also and I would highly recommend the company.

We purchased the special from Angie's List . Stoddarts contacted us as stated to schedule the appointment, called when they were 10 minutes from the home, and arrived at the appointed time. They were professional, made us feel comfortable that they were in our home, they took the extra time needed to figure out the garage door coding, they cleaned up after themselves. they gave us all the old and new keys, showed us that each lock worked and asked if there were any questions or additional needs. We would highly recommend them to anyone.

Stoddard was able to come out with only a one day notice. This is a rental house so I needed to re-key it on the last day of the month after the last tenant moved out but had new tenants moving in the next day. They showed up on time and completed the work quickly. The tech noticed that one of the doors had a deadbolt lock but no hole for the deadbolt so he drilled a hole for it as part of the service. It is nice to have a company do something extra for free versus sell you something at a set price and then add all kinds of extra fees once he is doing the job! I will definitely call them again when we need to re-key the house again.

Provider did not have the proper parts for our lock on the first visit, so he switched out the parts with a different kind of lock until the ordered parts arrived. Other than the slight inconvenience of two visits, he was very professional. We were not charged any extra for his time and trouble.

I spoke with Scott, the owner, the day after we purchased the special and he offered to come out that same day. His employee, Terry, came to the house and rekeyed all 11 of our locks, as well as giving us a gate padlock, in under an hour. We paid a little extra for the extra locks, but it was very reasonable. The entire experience was great! They were extremly professional and polite. I highly recommend Stoddart's Lock & Safe.

After the first attempt to rekey the locks by a subcontractor, Scott (the owner) came to see that the 4 keys that were made didn't fit correctly. He sent another person to rekey the house and all went well. We were pleased with the prompt response and would use this service again.

This was an amazing deal! Rekeyed whole house, including the locks in the schlage keyless entry (the backup keys) Extremely professional, and timely. Wouldn't hesitate using them again!

Terry from Scott Stoddart locksmiths rekeyed all the locks. I was curious how this was done. Terry explained how a lock works took it apart to show how the pins work and explained that changing the pins to fit new keys is the way re keying is done. He was very patient and sweet answering all my curiosity questions. He was a great teacher. Per my request, he changed the front storm door lock for an additional $10. I would certainly use this provider again. I felt very comfortable with this service provider. By the way, All the locks and keys and the padlock are working very smoothly!

Very Professional. He was prompt and courteous, gave us reasonable quotes, and completed the job in just about two hours. He also taught my wife how to reprogram our garage door openers and cleaned up nicely when he was finished. Very highly recommended.

Terry came out on time and was very professional. I had the $109 house rekey. I had additional locks done and the extra cost was super reasonable. I would certainly use them again in the future.

Scott was prompt and very professional. He explained the different tumbler types I had and volunteered to fix a sticky lock in my garage side entrance.

Security lock broke and could not unlock the security door. This was not an emergency, so an appointment was made for the next day. Arrived on time and repaired lock. Another lock had been replaced and had to be re keyed.

Responded to initial call promptly and scheduled per our time constraints. Technician (Mark) was quite freindly and helpfull. Overall and pleasent interaction.

Excellent service! I found the coupon deal on AL and decided to take a chance to have them rekey our new home. Scott was very quick to reply to email and Terry came out to do the work. Terry arrived timely and did a great job. I highly recommend this company.

The service was excellent and the team (Scott and Terry) are very pleasant and easy to work with. The re-programming of the code on an older garage door system created a challenge, but Stoddard work diligently (even over the weekend) to help resolve the issue. They were very professional, courteous, ethical and competent. The team went 'the extra mile' and I highly recommend this company.

Was a wonderful experience. I bought the coupon special. Ten minutes later called Scott and left a message and He called backed within 10 minutes and this was 6:00 pm. He told me that someone would call me next morning within 30 minutes of house which they did. Terry was very polite to my 78 year old Mom. Thanks for a job well done.
