Stoddart's Lock and Safe

I went with the Surprise 6 rekey lock special for $95. I called and scheduled the work for the next day. The guy that preformed the work was very professional and knowledgeable. The work took about an hour and he gave me 4 keys. I was very happy with the service and the price. I had been looking for a reliable locksmith who charged a reasonable rate and I finally found one. I highly recommend this company.

The two lock smiths I worked with were very professional and helpful, so much so that when I had difficulty opening a pad lock at one of my properties they came right out and solved the issue, which as I found out at the time was my faux pas and not the locks LOL

Was contacted right away. Very polite and accommodating. Gentleman who contacted me did not do the job; he sent someone he contracted out. But, he was fast and did a good job. He even fixed a loose handle on a door, although he hung it upside down. We had to take it all off later and rehang it. I felt the charge to do the work was fair, however, I felt the charge on the garage door opener was a bit overpriced. I wish I had checked pricing beforehand.

Excellent service and attitude, on time and delivered with great suggestions about security. Had him do some extra work and was very pleased with the results. Would recommend their service and would use them again if needed.

Great Job! Very responsive, efficient and while the full house rekey deal stated 6 cylinders for the full house rekey the technician assisted with an additional four cylinders for a nominal fee. He even double checked to see if he needed to reprogram a built in garage remote in the event that I had one in my car. I would hire this company again no questions!

Purchased special and then called Scott. Made appt. per my request for 2 weeks down the road. Scott was on time, worked performed very professional. He made sure all keys worked and tested with my presence. Any lock work I will definitly call Scott and will refer friends to him.

We just moved into a new home and called to use the coupon that was offered for having the whole house rekeyed. We expected to have to wait for an appointment, but we were pleasantly surprised when the service was offered to us within an hour. They were promptly there within the hour with professional and courteous service. Not only did they rekey four doors, but they also provided a padlock which was keyed to our house door, and they offered to reprogram our garage door remotes. We were extremely pleased and would highly recommend them to others!

They were fantastic! They fit us into their very busy schedule in practically no time at all. Very efficient and professional. Because we hadn't re-keyed our house since we bought it, we felt wary that there were other keys floating around with the realtors, construction workers etc. They helped us re-key everything, including our shed, and program our garage door openers. Requested service at home to rekey the house and garage. Purchased a 'special' on Angie's list to get this done. Showed up 'on time' and preceeded to do everything I asked, plus I requested two extra items to be fixed. One item the Tech did not have in his service truck and went to store, without charge, to get the needed items I requested. Performed the 'special' & extra jobs in a totally professional mannor and proved to be a FIXER when he saw the garage door problem I had and fixed the problem without any additional cost. This is the best Lock Shop I have ever delt with. Many have nice Techs; but this was the first that fixed a problem that was totally additional to the requested work and only charged a SMILE! I initially hired the company based on a special offered by Angie's List. Scott scheduled and Joe did the work. BOTH very nice and professional. I called them back later for another job (for my daughter) and they again were prompt and professional. I would recommend Stoddard's to anyone who asked for locksmith services. Thanks Angie's List for referring them and thanks, Scott, for yoru professionalism and prompt service. I don't recall what I paid for both services, but it was reasonable, especially with the Angie's List special.

Interior front door knob came off. I called Stoddart's. Joe arrived within a couple hours. Joe said he could save us some money if he could find a replacement door knob, in lieu of replacing the entire lockset, so left to search for one. The door knob was unique so he could not find a replacement. Joe returned with a regular door knob, removed one of the unique door knobs from a closet, installed the regular door knob in the closet, then installed the existing unique door knob on the front door. It worked fine but the door would not latch when closed. Joe then found that the door hinges were worn causing the mis-alignment. Off Joe went to buy hinges. He returned, installed new hinges and everything worked great. Joe was honest, ethical, professional and competent. I recommend him highly.

I had my new home re-keyed by this company. Making the appointment went very smoothly and the businessman was very pleasant to deal with on the phone. I had four locks rekeyed for about $98, using a deal I found on Angie's List. There was a mixup regarding the time and so the technician was a bit late but the good service made up for it. I would recommend to anyone.

We contacted Stoddart's on Tuesday, 10/8 and got an appointment for Wednesday afternoon. We were given a window of 2:00-4:00 P.M., and Joe kindly contacted us at 12:30 to let us know he wouldn't be able to get here until close to 4:00; we appreciated the courtesy. When Joe arrived, he went straight to work. Instead of needing to replace all of the hardware on the doors, he did some minor adjustments on one door, and he cleaned the locks that are already there. The locks work perfectly again! Someone else might have installed new locks (at a substantial cost), but Joe did the work for an extremely reasonable fee. A+++++ We give this company our highest recommendation.

I purchased the deal advertised on Angie's List. I was contacted immediately by Stoddart's. They came out and re-keyed all the doors in my home. They were prompt, professional yet personable. I would use them again if needed and would refer them to anyone who asks.

Stoddart's arrived on time and quickly went to work, working around the carpet cleaners and other workers that were also at the house at the time. He quickly did all the work including an extra deadbolt lock that we were not sure we wanted to do but are glad we had done! He did more locks and the garage door remotes for much cheaper than the prior company we used and much faster. He was also very polite and professional.

I Purchased the coupon on line at www.angieslist.com with a credit card, (very easy,) called the same day I purchased coupon to schedule the service as soon as possible, which was in three days on Monday. Scott called me that Monday morninig and asked if he could come earlier than originally scheduled since his first appointment of the morning went so quickly. I said yes, so he showed up two hours early as agreed and completed the job quickly, cleanly and professionally. I recommend them and would use them again without giving it a second thought.

Great service. I was really sick the day they showed up, and they were very understanding. They did great work, punctual, and very nice.
