Great. Requested service through 866-742-7825. Service man was completely familar with this pool from previous house calls (previous owners) and was extremely helpful and knowledgeable.

Shasta built this pool in 1983 and remodeled previously in the early-mid 1990's. Following storm damage, it was decided to perform a complete remodel. The process went as well and comfortably as could be possibly hoped for, given that it was a major construction project, and everyone on the team, from sales to cleanup, were champs. Shasta even still had the original project plans from the initial construction which made their job easier (and gave us more peace of mind), and made us feel like this was the most important project on their schedule. A special shout out to Season at the Phoenix metro design center for putting up with our incessant questions, concerns, and totally unrelated ramblings. Staying with the original builder—particularly with one as well-entrenched in this region—paid off in spades.

They have been very good anytime we have had a problem or a question or anything. They’ve been very good about answering our questions. If they couldn’t answer them they would come out to take a look. I have nothing bad to say about them. We had no problems with them at all. They have been very good. I think we were covered by our pool warranty. They have always come out right away when we have called. They do a great job. I just recommended them to a neighbor.

Shasta was wonderful to work with. They built a magnificent pool under the pressure of having to meet an absolute finish date (our wedding). The work was done well, all bugs were dealt with in short order, and I never felt disconnected from the company or the pool building process. Everyone I worked with was awesome, from the designer/sales guy to the head of construction, to the people in the office who managed the project schedule. I even had the owners on site, keeping on top of the progress of the project. If you're looking for a company to build a reasonably challenging pool for you, definitely talk to Shasta.

They just did excellent work all around. We would use them again in the future.

The experience went fine, they always do a good job. Their prices are kind of high, but they produce good quality.

The adventure started in July 2009 with an estimate from Shasta Pools. We signed the contract and paid the down payment on 25 July. When 25 Aug rolled around and there was no sign of any work being done, we called Shasta and said that we were preparing to cancel the order. Suddenly there was a flurry of activity. Then another lull. Work did not begin until the middle of September. Next came the misrepresentation of the salesman...we were expecting this spa to be salt-based. But the building manager said that was impossible, they would never do a salt-based spa - it is too small. We were very disappointed but work had already been started. After calling around there was a possibility of salt-based for another $30K - way beyond our budget. Next we had all of the construction nightmares....killed plants, sloppy work, piles of concrete left every where. When we finally saw the spa operating in November we were pleased although still disappointed in that the mechanism to turn it on is extremely complicated....not a flip of the switch. We have asked Shasta to come back to walk us through the on/off, water features, heating, cleaning valves and switches again but no one has come back. So, we are experimenting with the various valves and switches...expect that we will learn it soon enough. Lessons Learned: 1) Read the contract outside of the sales office prior to signing on the dotted line and turning over money. 2) Make sure that you or someone you trust is on-sight constantly watching the work and tracking progress...I am sure that this little episode would have been worse if we did not have a project manager of our own (not a Shasta employee) keeping track of things and cleaning up the mess that Shasta left behind. 3) Get multiple estimates - this was our big mistake....Shasta convinced us that they could get the necessary permits quickly and would be able to have the spa done by September....in reality they did not even start work until September. 4) Get a schedule including permits and worst case estimation on the duration of waiting for permits.

They are professional, responsive and punctual. The quality of their work is good and I have satisfied with their service.

This job took longer than I thought it would, but the completed job turned out very nicely. They did a good job of cleaning up the area. I am glad that I had it done.

I was happy with them because they stood behind their work. They also kept the prices all the way through the project. We had some difficulties along the way, but luckily we were able to solve them and had no bug.

They installed the pool and the hot tub, but we went into a agreement that it was only going to take 12 weeks and it actually took 30 weeks. It then became one problem after another and we needed to hired another company to fix all the little problems that were created by them. The price was a good price, but in the long run cost me a lot more money. I would definitely not recommend this company to anyone.

I really like this company because they did what they were supposed to do and they were extremely responsive. Everybody knows them and knows that they a very respectable company. I ve never had any complaints with them.

I thought they were great as I didn't have a problem with them once. The lining on the old pool was so bad but the new lining is very pretty as it dazzles in the water. The service provider was excellent. They were always on time and they cleaned up well after themselves.

They started even sooner than we thought they would (which was good). We love the finished product and have had no issues since completion.

The people at Shasta are incredibly knowledgeable and very prompt in getting back to you with every question. From start to finish, they were extremely professional. We had no idea how to go about designing a pool, but they are very creative and helped us to design a unique and beautiful pool that we are excited to have. The process takes several months and we made several changes throughout the process but Shasta was always very accommodating.

Awful experience with Shasta. Would not recommend them. You can't trust them. Although they say they have a project manager, I have only met with him twice and he doesn't return calls. They seem to sign a lot of contracts and cherry pick the projects to finish.

They have been the most unreliable, unresponsive company. They had to fire one supervisor (or so they claim), and a customer service rep. We finally had to get Janet Ackerman, the manager on the phone. They tried to get out of cleaning the tile, even when it was in the contract. It was supposed to take 4 weeks, yet here we are 8 weeks later and still not done.

DID WORK WELL. SOME DIFFICULTY IN PUTTING IN 1 SEAM BUT HAD IT CORRECTED IN 2 WEEKS.

OVERALL, I HAD AN EXCELLENT EXPERIENCE ON PURCHASING THIS POOL. IT STARTED WITH SALES AND DESIGN CENTER. MY REP MIKE LEE WAS VERY INFORMATIVE AND EXPLAINED ALL OF MY OPTIONS AND LAYOUTS AND CHOICES FROM THE FILTER SYSTEM, TILE, DECKING, POOL FINISHES, AND VARIOUS OTHER OPTIONS TO CHOOSE FROM. HE GAVE ME A REALISTIC TIME LINE ON THE START TO FINISH AND WHAT WAS TO BE EXPECTED ALONG THE WAY. I RECEIVED A CALL THEN AND WAS INTRODUCED TO MY CUSTOMER SERVICE REP (MARK LAGGREN) WHO KEPT ME UP TO DATE ON EACH PHASE AND STEP OF THE CONSTRUCTION PROCESS. I ALSO MET WITH THE FIELD SUPERINTENDENT (STEVE PELLETTIERE) WHOM ANSWERED ANY QUESTIONS I HAD AT THE JOB SITE. UPON COMPLETION I WAS REFERRED TO THE SHASTA STORED THAT REVIEWED WITH ME HOW TO CARE FOR THE WATER WITH THE APPROPRIATE MIX OF CHEMICALS AND ALSO HAD START-UP SEMINAR AT THE HOUSE WITH KYLE ON HOW TO OPERATE THE EQUIPMENT AND DAILY, MONTHLY, and ANNUAL CARE SO ALL THE EQUIPMENT RUNS PROPERLY.

START UP WAS DELAYED BY SEVERAL WEEKS. COMMUNICATION WAS VERY POOR; I WAS NOT KEPT INFORMED AS TO WHEN SOMEONE WOULD BE HERE AND WHAT WOULD BE DONE. MOST OF THE TIME, ACTION WAS TAKEN ONLY AFTER I HAD MADE A PHONE CALL. PLUMBER DID ONLY PARTIAL WORK, POOR QUALITY AND CLEANUP. DECK COATING IS FAIR. SOME SCRATCHES WERE MADE BY THE WORKERS WHEN THEY COATED THE POOL. A LARGE OPEN HOLE BETWEEN POOL AND OLD SPA HAS NEVER BEEN FILLED, EVEN AFTER SEVERAL PHONE CALLS TO COMPANY. JOB WAS STARTED END OF MAY FIRST OF JUNE AND HAS YET TO BE COMPLETED. I HAVE PAID IN FULL, AS WAS REQUIRED, BUT JOB HAS NEVER BEEN COMPLETED. AFTER A PHONE CALL TODAY, 08/25/2005, I WAS INFORMED THAT THE SUPERVISOR FOR MY JOB HAS QUIT AND THE ASSISTANT ALSO HAS LEFT THE COMPANY. I NOW HAVE A CALL PLACED TO MR AST, PRESIDENT OF SHASTA INDUSTRIES.

THEY ALWAYS DO AN EXCELLENT JOB. IF THERE IS A PROBLEM THEY COME RIGHT OUT AND TAKE CARE OF IT.

SHASTA DID AN EXCEPTIONAL JOB ON OUR POOL. THEY APPLIED THE COATING PERFECTLY AND TILED THE POOL IN AN ARTISTIC AND APPEALING MANNER. THEIR EMPLOYEES ARE VERY PROFESSIONAL AND KNOWLEDGEABLE ABOUT THEIR SERVICE.

THEY INSTALLED OUR POOL FOR US AND KNEW THE PUMP. THE WATER WAS BLOWING ROCKS IN THE POOL AND WE HAD TO SHUT OFF THE PUMP. THIS WAS THE MIDDLE OF SUMMER AND EVERYONE WANTED TO SWIM BUT THE POOL WAS A MESS. THEY CAME OUT THE NEXT DAY TO REPAIR.

THE PEOPLE AT SHASTA WERE VERY FRIENDLY. THEY GOT THE WORK DONE QUICKLY WITH NOT A LOT OF MESS. POOL TURNED OUT GREAT.

THE SERVICEMAN SHOWED UP WHEN HE SAID HE WOULD. HE WAS VERY KNOWLEDGEABLE AND THE SERVICE WAS DONE QUICKLY.
