Description of Work: I have a service contract with Howard Air, and they are the best. They've saved me money on service and repairs, and their technicians are professional, prompt, and informative.

Description of Work: Another well advertised company on TV told us they could band aid the air conditioner for thousands of dollars or replace it for thousands more. Called Howard H & AC for second opinion. They came out and replaced only what was needed. We had options 1) $748 for a one time repair 2) All parts, labor and repairs for two year contract for $438. You know the one we chose to do. It gave us peace of mind we did not replace the air conditioner which was not needed. When faced with another company to replace your system, call Howard for their valuable second opinion. I am glad we did, I will now have them service another home I own. Integrity is a very valuable commodity Howard Air has.

Description of Work: Do not recall the exact date they performed the work. I called them on a Sunday and they came to work on the AC the same day. There was a premium to work one on a Sunday, but glad they were able to complete the work for my tenants. I would highly recommend them.

Description of Work: They were great. Our refrigerator broke over the weekend. They came Monday morning & were very professional. The serviceman took the time to tell and show me exactly what was wrong & how he fixed it. He also took the time to talk to me about a couple of other issues. I was very happy with the price and service. Nice guys, too.

Description of Work: I used Howard's Heating and Air and Appliance Repair LLC in July 2011 for replacing my air conditioner.

Description of Work: I have used Howard's services twice at different rental properties I own. The first time, I called him out to service a GE refrigerator that wasn't working. The problem was an instrument panel that wasn't working and he was able to replace it immediately. He also looked at a garbage disposal that wasn't working and was able to get it going with a bit of work. I was impressed that before he arrived to do the service on the refrigerator, he made an accurate diagnosis over the phone of the problem and arrived with the new instrument panel. The charge for replacing the panel and fixing the garbage disposal was minimal. He also showed me how I could repair the garbage disposal myself if I ever had the problem again. At the second property, he 'fixed' a refrigerator with a nail and a bit of tape. I had bought this refrigerator 'used' from a used appliance dealer. After looking at the problem, Howard told me that it was obvious that the dealer knew that the refrigerator had a problem in the past and it had been 'worked' on, but the dealer passed the lemon on to me. Howard fixed the problem by rigging up a nail and some tape to another part. Works great now and he charged me about $30 for the service call and labor.
