Bob returned my call quickly and told me the job that would probably take one day. He would charge time and materials. I was kind of nervous about that because I didn't have a firm number. He give me his hourly rate, and that helped. When he arrived with his assistant, they went right to work and got the job done in about four hours. They were very helpful, did the job quickly and efficiently. I would definitely call Bob's Electric for any future home electrical jobs!

Bob and son scheduled a date and then called to ask if he could start early, which he had told me was a possibility. He arrived promptly and worked through the day and into the evening to finish the job in one trip. This was important since I needed it done quickly. They did all the work as described and cleaned up the area prior to leaving.

Bob did a first-rate job! He assessed the situation, discussed the options and provided a very fair estimate. I needed to push back having the work done, but when I called him a few weeks later, he fit the job in right away. He also noticed a prior situation that needed attention and took care of it - going above and beyond the job scope. He's a nice guy with integrity and experience and I feel comfortable knowing my old home's electrical is safe.

He was available anytime I wanted so I chose a Saturday morning. He was on time. The work was completed in an hour, and he cleaned up after himself. Everything worked as expected. He was very friendly.

Bob picked up the call on the first ring, provided a list of days that he could complete the work, and we had a scheduled appointment on the first phone call. Upon showing up (on time) he had his tools ready and got to work immediately. His boots were very clean, but he brought shoe covers to protect the floor. What took him two hours would have taken me all day and I'd definitely recommend his services.

There a couple of unforeseen hiccups to the job but Bob explained to me in great detail. There was an added amount to the original quote because of the issue but the amount was reasonable for the service he had to add. His friendly personality made dealing with this contractor very comfortable and I felt he was honest in all the work he quoted vs. the service he provided. He did the job within the time-frame he estimated and I would certainly use his services again. Use Bob's Electric and you won' t be disappointed.

Bob came out in person to understand what I wanted done, and then he promptly quoted the job. Bob and his son were on time for the work, did a quality job, listened to my needs and made sure I was completely happy with the outcome (which I am). Kane County electrical inspector came out today to review the job. I passed the inspection and they closed my permit. All set! Thanks Bob!

The service was fantastic. Bob was punctual and the work was both professional and complete. What impressed me the most was when he discovered an unsafe light fixture that the previous homeowner had installed. His insistence on doing the job correctly really hit home. Overall an A+ company.

I emailed Bob on Monday evening and he called back that evening. He came over on Tuesday to fix the immediate concern of the broken ceiling light/exhaust fan. He returned on Saturday to do all of the other items on the list. His son spent hours in the attic installing the ceiling fan, making sure that it would be installed properly. He was courteous, professional and cleaned up after himself.

I found Bob on Angies List and he had a lot of positive reviews, I called and he answered my questions and set the appointment to come out for an estimate, showed up on time and was very professional and knowledgeable.Arrived on the date of scheduled appointment for installation and went to work, it was all done within 4 to 5 hours and everything was explained to me, on how the generator works. I would recommend him anytime and will be using him again when it comes for scheduled maintenance as well.

Bob and his son arrived on time and completed the project in a timely manner for the agreed upon price. He worked in the garage attic in July- that alone is worth a recommendation, but he also did a nice job.

I called Bob because I thought I needed a new electrical box on my newly purchased home. The inspector for the home I purchased thought I should have the box looked at by an electrician. The first electrician I called, gave me an estimate and charged me to inspect the box. I later found out that the electrician was not very reputable. So, I joined Angie's list and found Bob's name. When Bob came out he took a look at the box and gave me an honest assessment. In his opinion, he thought the box was ok and was not in need of imediate replacement based on our current electrical usage. Better yet, he didn't even charge me for coming out to look at the box. When the time comes for me to upgrade our electrical box, or have any other electrical work done I will definitely be using Bob. He was on-time and professional.

Bob helped me get the ceiling fan working. He made two trips and patiently tried several transformers that I had purchased. I would recommend this company to anyone who needs electric work.

He appeared to us like complaining about us not saying about all the job he must do...however he had a previous visit to see everything we wanted to be done and how. After they lived I could see that was not cleaned and that is annoying to come back every were cleaning furniture and carpets and floor. Went outside when raining and come with his wet shoes to my expensive carpet! In the highest ceiling he market with pencil and didn't cleaned up...I told him, but he had just dismantled the swag and apparently didn't wanted to go back to clean the mark; now the mark stays there, because we can't reach it.

The work was done in 3-4 hours. I installed a ceiling fan after they left with no problems. I am very happy with the work they did and their professionalism. I will call Bob in the future for my electrical needs.

I called around very early in the morning and Bob was up and available. He had an appointment in Elgin that day, and he needed to attend to that prior to coming to my house. He thought it would be about an hour after that. I called about 15 minutes after his estimated time and he said it would probably be another hour. He then showed up on time. Of course, I can't fault him for tending to other paying customers, but I wouldn't mind if he had over-estimated his time to get to me in the first place, as that would have helped us all keep peace of mind. He came, he saw, he conquered. He undid all our power so he could get to the box, and worked in a cramped environment to get it done. He needed to get a part from Home Depot and came back in a reasonable amount of time and then fixed the problem fairly quickly. All told, it was about an hour of work. One thing that concerned me: We have an extra section of our driveway, which has a small patch of yard in front of it. He drove over it and made a huge gouge with his tire. Now, it was wet, so it caused more damage than it would have normally, so I'm not terribly concerned about the size of the gouge. If he'd mentioned that it happened, even if he didn't offer a discount because of it, that would have been OK. The fact that he didn't mention it is kind of disconcerting. It's very clear it was him, and it was pretty obvious he noticed it, as he didn't repeat the error when he went to Home Depot or came back.

Bob was punctual in returning my call and was able to provide an over the phone quote. It was very reasonable. The only reason we did not use Bob's is because of timing. I would definitely contact him again to bid on other jobs.

Bob called before he showed up and installed new detectors in each bedroom. We knew the Master bedroom would be tricky and needed drywall cut out, but Bob did a very professional and responsible job. He also replaced recessed lighting. He left our home clean and neat. Very professional and flexible with our schedule.
