We had a variety of estimates over the phone and in person. Bob was on time and provided very professional input on the work. When we were ready to have the work done he honored the quote, even though material costs had gone up. He arrived early and worked through the whole day to complete the job. We were out of spots in our panel so it required the installation of a sub panel and about 50 feet of wiring and conduit as well as the panel near the spa.

Bob provided a free on-site estimate that he honored, even though there were unexpected issues (besides 120 degree temperatures) with my attic layout which significantly increased his cost and time. I had received two other estimates, one too high, and the other the same as Bob’s, but with numerous installation short cuts to make it easier for the electrician. Bob performed all the work himself and overcame each issue. The proof is that my security system was up and running perfectly before he left my house. Bob will be the first contractor I go to for any other electrical work I need.

Bob is prompt, professional and fair. His work for us was first-rate, and he called to follow up to be sure everything was continuing to go well. We are sorry to lose him to Arizona, but our loss will be their gain!

He just shoved all the wires, just crammed them in as tight as could be, all this excess wiring. Looped it around, crammed it in, crimped it. It was all crammed in the box. Screwed the box down and called it down. Another company came out, clipped off all the excess wiring, relabeled the box, told us what was what. Made sure nothing was crimped or strained or pulled in the whole panel and made sure it was all nice and neat and color-coded and everything. Beautiful. Actually cleaned up Stellwagen's work. Stellwagen has since retired. He told us that. Stellwagen did an average job. Everything was safe but that was about it. Price was average, it was right in there. He did leave a mess for me to sweep up.

He finished most of the job-there are some additional outlets that need to be looked at.

He has worked twice for us and has done good work. He was excellent.

The job could not have gone smoother. Bob came to our house on Tuesday, scoped out the job gave and gave us a price range of about what it would cost. I told him to go ahead and he said that he would start on Thursday and completed the entire project that Friday! The job cost came in a couple hundred dollars below the top of the price range he quoted. Bob is a true professional who knows his trade. The cleanliness of his truck is an example of how he works. I am extremely handy and do most everything myself. In this case I figured it would take me 4 or 5 days to do myself and I was running short of time. I must say we made the right choice. Bob is truly AWESOME!!!

Bob is old school which means he does things the right way and goes to great lengths to explain in detail. He is a craftsman and not just a handyman posing as an electrician. You have a professional when you call him . He responds right away and is prompt and on time, which is the exception rather that than rule from my experience when you need things done.

i called mr. stellwagen who was very courteous and professional. i described the work to be completed and he came by later that afternoon to provide an estimate. we made an appointment for the following morning when he arrived on time and completed the job exactly as requested. his fee matched the bid exactly. very professional with good work.

Did a fantastic job. Very happy with the work and the cost. Was even a few minutes early because he knew we were without heat. Bob is a fantastic guy and would call him again in a heartbeat.

Bob and his son came out and ran the line to the garage for the heater and plug . Bob and his son were professional and prompt. He started work right away, The only hitch was the heater I purchased from Menards, I purchased one for a 220 line, once unpacked by Bob he observed that the heater was only set up for 110 line, box and machine itself said 240, Bob called the technical support line to find out what was going on, after haggling with terrible customer support , I told him I would return the heater and get a new one, he and his son went to menards with me , and before I picked another Heater we opened the box to check the wiring making sure it was right. Once back home he began putting it in and was done very quickly, turned on right away and started to heat the garage, also I also have another plug so that I can run multiple tools at the same time without tripping circuits , very happy with the results, I always recommend him to anyone who asks for a electrician, very trustworthy and dose a great job

By far, Bob is the very best electrician that I have ever had the pleasure to have work on my house. He clearly explained the alternatives to the electrical problems that I faced and completed the work in a fashion that far exceeded my expectations. I couldn’t be more pleased. I have an older home and had numerous circuits, switches, outlets and fixtures that needed to be upgraded to be safe. The problems were the source of many worries. Bob addressed them all and now I’m more than comfortable that I can depend on safe, reliable electrical power in my house. Exceptional service! I asked Bob to provide a proposal for a light post which needed to be replaced by our pool. Bob came out and looked at the pole. He briefly explained to me a few options I might have in order to replace the pole. I asked him to provide a proposal. After nearly a week, I had not heard from Bob so I texted him, asking him when he would be sending the proposal. I received no response. I'm not sure what to make of this situation but it seems pretty unprofessional to waste someone's time like this. It would be much better just to tell people if you're not interested in doing the work.

Very well. Bob was very friendly. He came to give an estimate and was able to do the job earlier than expected. Bob installed outlet and cost was the same as estimate. Kiln is running great. Very satisfied.

I was not home when Bob arrived as I had written the time down incorrectly....I was only about 10 minutes late...He WAITED patiently for my arrival, and was very understanding of my error. Now about his work....The canned lights look beautiful! He installed expertly and cleaned up all drywall mess. Now on to the ceiling fans. The one fan was a bit of a challenge because the wiring was "hot" without a switch. It was a very hot day and without any complaint, Bob went into the attic to hunt down the power source. This involved moving some stuff and insulation which he did without any complaint, and it was HOT up there. Both fans are in and working just fine. This is my second time hiring Bob for electrical work & I can now say he is my go to electrical guy!

Bob repaired electrical outlets that were red-flagged in the house inspection. He had a lot of experience in the way the house was wired and it took him very little time to perform the updates. He also inspected some gfci outlets that were red-flagged in the home inspection also. We had him come back a couple weeks later to replace some light switches and inspect the power roof vent. This he did in a very timely manner also, however, he showed up about 3 hours later than the appointment was set up for. Apparently he took on another job at the last minute and that took longer than he anticipated. If you have any electrical red flags in your home inspection, I would recommend Bob. He is very knowledgeable and wastes no time getting the job done.
