Description of Work: Bob came out to investigate why my circuit breaker was preventing my Jaccuzzi tub from functioning. He rectified the problem within 20 minutes. He was professional and curteous. I will definitely use his services again.

Description of Work: Bob and his son Mike installed new electrical on our deck. They put in 4 receptacles, and one switch. Also did a very neat job of installing rope light under our stair treads. We supplied the rope light and the clips.We also asked Bob to install a motion sensor light on our laundry and fix a hallway light switch. We added on these items and negotiated the price. We generally do not add to a quoted job. Bob was very accommodating.

Description of Work: I have very mixed feelings about Bob. He was initially very responsive, informative and responsive in making the appointment. He was willing to teach us how to do some repairs, and teach us about what he was doing. However, he didn't bring a 6 foot ladder, so he would not do one set of repairs. He had a friend show up at an hour- and-a- half into the appointment and left at 15 minutes before the two hours were up with the friend ---despite charging us for the two hours. Also, one of the repairs he showed my husband to do was the wrong way to do it, and my husband had to redo the job after doing internet research. Almost forgot, On one repair he did minor damage to the drywall around the ceiling light. So, I conclusion, the first hour of the two hour minimum appointment was good and the second hour I felt a little taken advantage of.

Description of Work: Bob is highly knowledgeable and a super kind man. I would not use him again, only because I did not feel confident that he could readily tackle issues but theorized and discussed a lot of possible ways it could take a long time to get it figured out. He didn't do that but it caused hesitance for me to have him back out to fix something. I would recommend him, provided you can point him straight to the problem. A very good man.

Description of Work: replaced a wire in the wall that had been punctured by a nail causing to short out the circuit. Bob did a great job, even repairing a previous wire fix in the same wall that had not been completed properly.

Description of Work: Bob came out the day after Christmas to install a new electrical line and breaker for double ovens. He was courteous and professional and did the job quickly. I wish there was an A-minus option - I hate to give a "B" for quality - but he had to come back because there was an issue with the wiring - one of the wires came out of the cap and touched the junction box, causing a spark, shut-off, & smoke. Bob immediately came back out and replaced the cap with a different kind of connector, and he waited while I preheated the oven to make sure the problem didn't happen again. We have had no problems since. I would use Bob again for future work.

Description of Work: Bob was punctual, professional, informative and reasonably priced. He got to work immediately upon arrival. He explained what he was doing and I felt he was thorough. Bob came & worked by himself as our job was small. I thought he did excellent work. I'd certainly hire him again.

Description of Work: Wired three rooms for ceiling light fixture outlet. Installed two ceiling fans. Moved a light fixture to another location in the ceiling and capped off a light fixture that he removed for us.

Description of Work: Bob came out and gave me an estimate (the lowest of 3 I received) and did the work about a week later. He went above and beyond doing extra work that I'm sure he hadn't originally planned on (he charged a little extra, but I felt that was fair). He did all the work I asked for, and did it in a very professional manner, explaining issues as they came up, and then solving them. Before he left, he cleaned up after himself and left the space the same way he found it which is very important in a contractor, in my opinion. I would highly recommend Bob to anyone for high quality, professional , and competitively priced work.
