Description of Work: They used to be very responsive. Last year was a (temporary?) down turn. I ordered filters for a furnace/AC they installed, requiring special cut filters. I got the wrong size, then it took many weeks for the correct ones to arrive. I had to call them to find out when they were in. I may have had the vacation staff.

Description of Work: I rated them an A for several years, but my last experience getting filters that fit the furnace/AC they installed was a bummer. One clerk said I was wrong about the size in my unit and sold me the "right ones". Wrong, but with no question they did take them back. Another employee finally picked up on that for whatever reason, I had a non standard size and ordered them. For several previous years all employees I met with looked up their installation records and supplied what I needed. Did they change management? Turn over in employees?

Over all experience was very good and I would recommend them to anyone who is thinking about getting or repairing their heating/cooling system.
Description of Work: Arizona Comfort Systems installed a new gas heater, heat pump, air conditioner and gas hot water heater. The installer (Nacho) also took out the swamp cooler and put the heat pump in its place, he was able to install a 220 volt wire going from the electrical panel to where the heat pump is and you cannot see any of the wire, if you could see the house you would understand how hard this was. Nacho had to do an attic crawl from one end of the house to the other and upgrade the return air duct. He did this and still had a smile. The installer was fast, very neat work and had the attitude of loving and proud of what he was doing. Jim Ruby (salesman) was very personable and knowledgeable of what had to be done and made the financing and installation very easy. There was another gentleman that came out (sorry, don't remember his name) that was like the supervisor of Nacho and he also was very nice and knowledgeable of what had to be done.

Rapid response and expert repair. I requested a service tech Friday morning at 0800. The dispatcher (Angela) stated that they were covered up but would try to get someone over. The service tech supervisor, Joe, arrived around 10 and diagnosed the problem. He said he didn't think they had any parts on hand due to the heavy workload they had been dealing with but he would look around and make sure. When I came back from town on Saturday, July 2nd, about 1pm, I found Joe up on the roof swapping the condenser motor. I was overwhelmingly grateful to have such service on a holiday weekend. I totally recommend AZ Comfort Systems to anyone in Cochise County who needs HVAC services.

As far as I could tell they finished their services as expected. Ask for a business card, there is a 10 dollar off coupon on the back of it knocking the price down to 85. Other places in town wanted upwards of 160 for a simple checkup. I would do business with them again in the future.
Description of Work: Checkup on Heat Pump and replacement of filters. Looks like the contractor also checked line voltages and temps at the ducts to ensure system was working properly. Recommended 4 inches of blown in insulation for the attic. After calling around their pricing for blown-in fell in the middle of 3 places that were called. I was quoted 845 for 4 inches blown in, house is roughly 2000 square feet. Ended up going with another contractor for blown in that was cheaper and quoted 8 - 10 inches of cellulose in the attic.

ACS did a FANTASTIC job for us. We found that the technicians were very knowledgeable and honest. They did a whole-house assessment including air flow and proper size for the HVAC unit we wanted. ACS did not push us into any service or product. They did offer a new furnace at cost when I asked about our 15 year old furnace. They also installed an Amana refrigeration unit (4 tons) and the new Ruud quiet 80. The unit is fantastic and I even got a call from the front office to insure that everything is working well. They even helped fix the water heater air intake as it was not to code. They did the job in one day and it was just perfect. I give them 10 stars for quality, price and knowledge. I recommend ACS to all my friends.
Description of Work: Install a new HVAC and gas-fired furnace to replace old, worn out evaporative cooler and older furnace. Remove the evap cooler and dispose of the cooler.
