Description of Work: Scott was incredibly punctual and actually arrived to provide an estimate over a holiday weekend. We are in need of replacing the filter, pump and base along with re-plumbing draining and blasting the "ring around the pool". The price provided seems a bit higher than several competitors so we are still shopping around for services.

Description of Work: The Ranch Pool Service comes to our house every week to maintain our pool. If there are any concerns regarding the upkeep, Scott Hall is excellent at keeping us informed as to the status of our pool, spa and water features that he takes care of. Scott has also helped us with figuring out how our pump and all the valves work on our pool - we were relatively new home owners of this pool and the equipment.

Description of Work: We called Scott when we had an emergency with our pool. He came out within an hour and assessed the problem provided a reasonable repair estimate and immediately started work on fixing our problems. We are so happy that we now use Scott for weekly maintenance of our pool.

Description of Work: The Ranch Pool Service maintains my pool weekly. They do a terrific job and I have never had a problem with the Company. I have been using their service for about one year. Scott is very knowledgeable and friendly. They are able to provide very good pricing because they primarily service the Mc Dowell Mountain Ranch area. They also do semiannual filter clean and ensure that all equipment is in good working order. They will do special maintenance on request. I would definitely recommend them.

Description of Work: We had just purchased a new home and found a couple of problems with the pool. The previous owner had a regular pool service but apparantly they had not taken care of several problems. First, neither the pool light nor the spa light were working. Also, there were several leaks around the valves, and finally, the filter had not been cleaned in quite a while. I called Scott at The Ranch Pool Service, having been referred to him by a friend, and he came over within a few hours of my call. I was surprised since I didn't expect to get anyone to look at it for at least a couple of days. So, Scott shows up and within an hour had both the lights working. Turns out the bulbs were bad as well as the seals around the lights. Also, the switches for the lights we on some sort of remote control system and that was not working. Since I didn't care about the remote control, Scott replaced the switches with normal ones. I asked about the leaks around the valves and Scott said he could fit those too by replacing the O rings, which he did (no more leaks). Then I asked Scott to check the filter and it turned out to be filthy and badly in need of a cleaning. Scott took the time to clean the filter and then tested my water with some sort of electronic gadget. He reported to me that my water was "old" and should probably be replaced in order to save on chemicals. However, he mentioned that with a plaster pool and the tempertures in the mid 90s, it should probably wait until the fall. I asked Scott for a quote for weekly pool service and was pleased to find his prices both reasonable and lower than the service the prevous owner had used. I was impressed with Scott's professionalism and knowledge and his willingness to take his time and explain everything to me.
