This company is outstanding. They sre easy to contact, they remain in touch, they provide excellent service as contracted, and the quality/workmanship is excellent. Highly recommended. Al responded to my initial request immediately, brought an array of samples to review, took careful measurements, explained the process thoroughly, and delivered as promised. Excellent installation, no problems whatsoever. Again, highly recommended.

Will not use them again. They make promises of installation dates three times and did not keep them. I even took off work for this and they cancelled on me. Not happy at all. I think they have too many customers that they can handle.

Had to get a plantation shutter removed to replace a broken window. Sunset Shutters came and removed the old shutter, then came back and reinstalled the unit. They also went through the unit provided the needed maintenance and hardware for a low price. Thanks again.

I hired Al to paint the existing shutters on my house plus I ordered 7 new shutters from him, and they gave me a price of 3500.00 for the total job, and I gave him a deposit of $1750 to order the shutters, Al called and said that they could bring back the shutters that they painted and at the end of the day I gave him another $500. Al said that he will have the new ones installed by the end of February, and they have not, now I can not reach them

Manny and Alex were very professional and personable. They did an amazing job of quickly fixing the plantation shutters that had missing pins. We would definitely hire them again and we're thinking of having them make plantation shutters for us in the future (the company we originally bought from is out of business).

I needed to have one slat made and one slat repaired for my shutter. A young man showed up promptly, took my damaged slat and promised to repair it and make another to match. I called once to see how my slat project was progressing. I have not heard from them since. :(

I've had a significant amount of work done by many companies in my home and I have to rate Sunset Shutters as one of the most dishonest companies I've ever encountered. The tech (Bill) said he didn't have enough magnets for the shutters but he would mail them to me. I told him that I would install the magnets myself. To this date I paid him for the magnets and have yet to receive them. I've called them over the last 6 times over the last 2 1/2 weeks with no response from either the tech (Bill) or their customer service…not even a return phone call. In my opinion not only have they stolen the money for the magnets but also their repair work is starting to deteriorate. I do not recommend this company and plan to also complain to the Better Business Bureau. Along with posting my dissatisfaction with several real estate companies that my wife works for and is associated with. UPDATE: I received a call from Al, who is the owner, of Sunset Shutters. He explained that the technician who called on me to fix my shutters is no longer with the company. There was an obvious void in their communications since Al was told, by the technician, that all work had been completed and the proper material had been shipped. I advised Al that I had not received any material to date. Al immediately dispatched a different technician and within 24 hours all repairs were completed on time that was promised. I would recommend Sunset Shutters based on the feedback I received from Al I strongly believe that he was not given the real facts from the technician that is no longer there. Thank you Al for sending Alex who arrived on time and did an excellent job!

so far! im pleased with the service, the representAtive was very informed, and seems like A good guy. i believe the quality, for wood shutters and the price were great. we had gotten 4 other quotes, but could not beat this one. they should be installed by July.

Installation will not take place for about 2 weeks yet, however, based on what the shutters will look like, thisis excellent and exactly what I wanted!

They were a pleasure to work with.
