Description of Work: I don't remember the cost, I purchased a dishwasher, good price and excellent service.

Description of Work: Stopped in store 4pm one day and had product delivered before noon next day. They did this for us because we were leaving on a flight.

Description of Work: I received a quote from Spencer's for new appliances for my complete kitchen remodel and left a $100 "refundable deposit" at the request of the salesman. In turn he provided copies of the installation dimensions of all the appliances to my kichen designer. I shopped the Spencer's prices for the exact same appliances at Sears, Home Depot and Lowes. Home Depot and Lowes both gave me quotes that were over $1000 cheaper than my quote from Spencers. When we told our Spencers salesman we would not be purchasing from him because of the price difference, he became irritated and called over his manager who proceeded to tell us he didn't believe us. We walked out never to return to Spencers. As a result, we purchased all our appliances from Home Depot and we were very satisfied with the sales process and the delivery/installation.

Description of Work: This rating is for the washer/dryer. Two washer/dryer combo's were delivered defective. My salesman was on vacation and the store manager did nothing to resolve the problem. Manager would not return any of my calls. Had to wait for my salesman to return to have the items removed. Very poor store management

Description of Work: I ordered a very expensive oven/microwave/warming drawer combination. The delivery was delayed, but I had to call Spencer's to find out what was going on, as they did not contact me. This continued to happen over and over. There was no communication unless I called them. In addition, they underestimated the charges for cabinet work that needed to be performed by an outside contractor, so that when the contractor arrived they had to call Spencers to get approval to be paid. They had to leave and then I started all over again with another contractor. The only reason I didn't cancel the order and go elsewhere was the price differential, which was considerable.It took over two months from the date I ordered the appliances until the installation was complete. Fortunately, part of my old oven was still functioning so I was still able to cook. |Other than price, I have nothing good to say about Spencers.

Description of Work: sell me a microwave and install the microwave and trim kit.

Description of Work: Installed new refrigerator, oven and dishwasher as well as soft water system. |They made an error with my soft water system as they instructed me to use the wrong salt which would have destroyed my entire landscaping if it was not detected quickly by me.

Description of Work: I purchased a Whirlpool Electric Dryer, which they price matched to Home Depot. The team of guys who installed the dryer were great. They were supposed to deliver the dryer with the door opening the opposite of what was delivered, (which may have been the salesperson's fault for not taking care of that requested detail), but they were able to change it at delivery. The day I purchased, I noticed on my receipt that my old phone number was on the paperwork so I called the store (Ahwatukee) and corrected the phone number. Having the wrong phone number on the receipt could have delayed the delivery. The sales person could have been better, but the overall experience was otherwise fine with the price match. I've purchased all my appliances in the past from other Spencer locations and always found their prices cheaper than anywhere. I would go back to this location, but choose a different salesman.
