Tanner did an excellent job with our door install. Not only did he assist us with measuring the opening to insure we ordered the door correctly, he came back after the initial install to mount the handles due to missing hardware not provided by the handle manufacturer. I would highly recommend Tanner for any door installation project.

Tanner did an outstanding job and the results were as promised. Susie in the office is an unshakeable professional - even with a couple of minor hiccups in my job. Those minor issues were resolved to our mutual satisfaction and I wouldn't hesitate to either use their services again, or recommend them to someone else.

I had a situation with an iron door that was installed 5 years ago by a different company. The trim on which the iron door hung was pulling away from the house. It was not clear as to if the problem was with the door or the trim. I had tried to contact other companies and they either wanted to provide a flat quote site unseen or they wouldn't come out at all. While initially ProStar was going to fix the door, my service with them took a different turn for the better. I have to say that Tanner rocks! He is extremely knowledgeable about doors - especially iron doors. He was very honest in looking at the entire situation happening with the door. Was very upfront with me and said that his recommendation would be for ProStar to not fix the door because he advised me to check with the original company to see if my door was under warranty. His concern was anything ProStar did could possibly void the installation warranty from the other company and he did not want that to happen. Tanner was very patient and helped me make a list of everything that was wrong with the door. I felt more empowered from Tanner's expertise because now I felt like I was speaking the industry lingo. In today's world where many businesses are struggling to stay afloat, it takes a lot of character to be 100% honest and turn down business. This is definitely a company that values their customers.

Came out to quote realigning a door that was installed. Gave me an estimate and explained all the work that had to be done to make it right. Based on their reviews, I assumed that is what needed to be done and hired them. In addition to aligning they were supposed to repair some wood framing and then sand and prime. That is what i contracted for. When the repair man came out he removed 6 screws - put a pad behind the plate and put the screws back in. Nothing close to what i was told was needed. Then he attempted to repair the wood frame. Absolutely awful job and then said he did not have any primer to put on the wood before the painting touch up. Lack of primer is what caused the issue to begin with. I had given a 50% deposit with the order and the balance was due when the work was completed. I asked the repair man to have the company call me to give a card for the balance over the phone. When they called - days later- I explained what i was quoted and what was actually done. 6 screw adjustment for over $500 dollars - no way. I then explained about the wood repair that the repairman did not have any primer and was not sure what was needed to be done. Told them the quality of the work was unacceptable and asked that someone call me to discuss. Heard from no one. I sent them an email explaining how this was not what i was paying for - called and left messages three times and never heard back. I have NEVER written a review like this in my life. I hired them based on reviews. Was i wrong!

John, who gave us the estimate and Tanner who performed the repairs were very professional and customer focused. The work was done well and as expected. There were no surprises and I'm glad I chose them for my repairs.

Their price was fair, they were here quickly to give me a bid. the installation was EXCELLENT. This guy took his time, I could tell he takes pride in his work and it shows. They had to remove the door, as well as the entire door frame down to the beams and put in a new door frame, then install the prehung door. The installer was so careful I do not need to do any exterior stucco patch up or any interior drywall patch up. Everything went right back together like a puzzle as if nothing ever happened. Great company. One last thing. I have been using HomeAdvisor for about the last 5 years and I have never been disappointed. I always get great contractors at a good price. I don't know if they vet these guys or what, but I have used them for exterior plumbing, tree and shrub removal and now this. HomeAdvisor gets a 5 star from me as well.

Sales guy aggressive, and price very high. I canceled in writing the next day still have not got my deposit back, it has been over a month.

Tanner was awesome. This company is a bit on the pricy side for a simple repair, however. I guess due to the part being hard to find.
