The door is wonderful and the Pella product is wonderful. My objection was the sales people from the local area Arizona Pella sales offices that are independent of Pella corporation of who manufactures the doors which makes it little difficult to distinguish exactly what they are doing. They misrepresented themselves, their installers and their relationships. So I would not recommend the local sales offices whatsoever.

My experience in the store and with the rep who came out to visit were great. Very professional & they explained everything & showed me different product choices. The only thing that wasn't so great was the price of Pella products. For someone living in an expensive home, perhaps the investment would be worth it, but for a simple condo in central Phoenix, the price was just too high. It would have been just over $10,000 to have Pella replace 4 windows, a standard door, and a 3-panel sliding glass door. Considering that the condo cost only $40,000 I couldn't justify spending this much no matter how high the quality is. I ended up going with Arcadia Window & Door and was very happy with their work (I haven't written a review with them yet). It was $3,500 to replace my windows & doors with a brand called Cascade. I don't really know how to judge the quality of windows (I would try to find something in Consumer Reports, probably). So I don't know if Pella would have been worth an extra $7,000, but it just wasn't in my budget to use Pella.

.PELLA WINDOW STORE delivered exactly what they said they would. They were very professional, clean, and quick. Their price was probably more than their competitors. I will use this provider in the future.

When I called the local 800 number in the phone book, possibly the number 888-204-0261 or 800-627-3552, I thought that I was speaking with the Pella corporation, but I was connected with this franchise office. The product is good, but the salesman and sales response were not. Since the Pella product is available through other sales offices, I wouldn?t have worked with this sales team had they been honest with me. I asked the sales person straightout if he was competitively priced with Lowes, etc. He said yes. They replaced my patio door with a partial French door. When they installed the frame, they had to push the carpet up, and I was left with a piece of carpet that wasn?t attached. However, this is not my main complaint. My main complaint is this: When I went to Lowes and asked for a quote, it was more than $1000 cheaper-- $2497. I have no complaint about the product, but as far as the sales were concerned, my request for consideration was met without any consideration whatsoever. The sales manager is Julie Grieving. When I explained to her what the salesman, Justin Meyer, had said to me, she said only that he shouldn?t have said that. Pella Windows & Doors franchise misrepresented their sales offer and their relationship to Pella Windows manufacturing. They stated their pricing was 'comparable' to Lowes. In lieu of the $1000 difference in price on a $3471.66 product and install, I am requesting a partial refund of the difference in the amount of $500. That would also compensate for the carpet that I had to have trimmed and reattached at the threshold of the Pella door frame. Pella franchises should identify the distinction between the Pella manufacturing and the Pella franchises. They are not one and the same. I feel they are mis-representing themselves and customers should be advised. All of the applied letter grades for this report apply to the Sales, NOT the product.

I had researched and priced windows and exteriors doors extensively. I had received quotes from Home Depot, Lowe's, Marvin (in Phx), Sierra Pacific, and two Milgard dealers (for fiberglass wood clad windows and doors), Plumb Windows (for fiberglass windows and doors), the internet, and two Pella dealers. A couple observations: 1. Some sales people know their product and some don't. The people that don't end up costing you a lot of time, especially when trying to get a quote. However, I found a few dealers that know their product(s) well and are very professional, prompt, knowledgable, and helpful, especially Peter at the Home Depot on Oracle and Wetmore, Ron at Sierra Pacific on Oracle, and Angel at Pella on Oracle. 2. Do your research and get apples-to-apples quotes. In some cases I got quotes that varied by almost $15K for the same product by different dealers. I ended up purchasing through Angel at the Pella store on Oracle. Not only was he knowledgable, professional, and very helpful, but he quoted me the best price--I may have lucked out due to a factory promotion. Additionally, whenever we had questions during installation or post installation, he was always happy to visit the job site to provide assistance. So far we are very pleased with Angel's service and product.

EXCELLENT QUALITY. WELL WORTH THE PRICE. WE NEED THE BEST IN SOUND AND SUN CONTROL AND GOT IT.

It's a quality product at a reasonable price. The installers were professional, punctual and timely.

They were very responsive when I called and were very willing to explain the quote in detail. I was happy with the service that they provided. The person who came out was very knowledgeable about the product. I didn't go with them because of their price.

It was all very well done. They performed everything well and had the job done perfect. They worked in a timely manner, and everyone involved was very professional and respectful. There was one damaged window in transit. I didn't realize it had been damaged, but they called my attention to it. Within an hour of the crew leaving the office called arranged to have it fixed. They were also very tidy and clean and kept everything neat.

The installation team was fabulous. They were clean, diligent and professional. They completed the work ahead of schedule. The attention to detail was sure sign these guys knew what they were doing. They were true craftsmen who are highly skilled. What breath of fresh air to work with a team dedicated to customer service. The entire process from bidding to installation went perfect. I think I paid more for Pella windows over a lesser brand but with a lesser brand I would have had to deal with the uncertainty of the warranty and installation skills. Overall I firmly believe I made the right choice. I'm happy and there's no follow up work.

Went very smoothly and professionally from sales consultation to final install. Since my home is old, I expected some nightmares but there were none, surprisingly. The Pella subcontractor had to cut and reinstall several specialty windowsills and they look like they were never even removed; also the subcontractor insulated around all window/door frames, used correct caulking for different areas of the windows/doors and kept the job site clean and organized. Also, no shrubs were destroyed in the installation; the installers were very careful both inside and outside my home. Also, the subcontractor, Chris Wiens, worked patiently and effortlessly to train his crew; his crew consisted of three people who seemed to enjoy what they were doing and in turn enjoyed working with Chris; that says a lot!

It was a superb job. They were excellent. They did superior work. The quality on the windows is outstanding. I am very pleased with the work they did. They were really a great company to work with.

They were fantastic. We got good quality windows at an affordable price. The salesman was helpful and polite and gave us great advice. Their timing sometimes was a bit off, but other than that, it was a fabulous experience.

I visited their store in early June to get a quote for windows, a slider, and two entry doors. There were two people working and they never acknowledged me. They were with other customers but a simple greeting would have been nice. I left after 10 minutes of being ignored. I will never do business with Pella Window Store. My father was with me and also in the market for windows and an entry door. They lost out on two potential sales just because their sales staff was indifferent.

OUR EXPERIENCE WITH PELLA WAS EXCELLENT. THE SALES PERSON HAD GREAT COMMUNICATION AND FOLLOW UP AFTER THE SALE THROUGH INSTALLATION. THE INSTALLERS WERE VERY PROFESSIONAL AND DID EXCELLENT WORK. THE NEW DOORS LOOK LIKE THEY'VE ALWAYS BEEN IN THE HOUSE.

HAVE REPLACED ALL MY WINDOWS IN MY HOUSE WITH PELLAS. EVEN THOUGH THE PRICE IS HIGH, THE WINDOWS ARE EXCELLENT.

THE PELLA SALES PEOPLE DID AN EXCELLENT JOB IN WORKING WITH US AND OUR BUDGET CONSTRAINTS. THE RESULTS TURNED OUT TO BE IDEAL. THE SITE INSTALLATION WENT WELL AND NO PROBLEMS HAVE OCCURRED.
