Description of Work: Called Bill to inquire about converting our chlorine pool to salt. When he came out to provide us a quote, he took the time to show us how to work the outside equipment and inside panel since we had recently moved into our home. We were more than pleased since we hadn't paid him anything or committed to use him. We decide to use him to convert the pool to salt because of his competitive pricing and the level of service he had already provided without us being a customer. Pleased with installation of salt cell. Also, had him clean DE filter. Bill even came back out a few days later to recheck pool chemistry as a follow up to the salt cell installation. He's fabulous to work with and provides great work with a superb level of customer device. We plan on using him for any future pool needs.

Description of Work: My self-cleaning pump was not working. (I've been searching for a responsible, trustworthy pool service since moving to Phoenix in 2006. FINALLY! Thanks Angie's List. Not sure I would have found them without you.) I called and left a message at Moore's. They called back the same day. Guy arrived when I was told he would arrive. Fixed the problem which another company told me couldn't be fixed and I needed a whole new pump for $1,500. I will DEFINITELY be calling them back again!

Description of Work: Moore has been cleaning and maintaining our pool for 5 years. They do a great job.

Description of Work: I called because my pool had lost 6 inches of water over night. He said he would stop by around 10am the next morning, He arrived at 7 am, I missed his call, but he found it was nothing serious. Water release valve was open. No Charge! Awesome service! But I really need more help, sorry I missed his visit, will call for more help. I have requested help from several pool companies, they return call but never show up. So glad to find someone so responsive. My salt system is not working hopefully he can help.

Description of Work: We had used a pol service guy for 2 years who did an average job then "sold" our house to another company the end of May. We were unhappy with their service and called Moores for an estimate. Bill called me the day i emailed him and came out the next day. He explained everything he found wrong and suggested what he would have our current pool service do as he didn't want to take away service from anyone else. Becuse he was so thorough and generous with his time we decided to switch to Moores for our monthly pool service. They started last week and our pool has NEVER looked so sparling clear! We are very happy and he also gave us a deal when we referred him to another neighbor. Very honest, reliable and affordable!!

Description of Work: Bill is wonderful! I left a message for him about having no pressure in my pool pump and a filter that was sweating through the fibergalss. He was on vacation but called me back right away. He gave me some things to try since he was out of town and it turns out I had a clogged impeller which, with his tips on how to unclog, my pool was back up and running within 15 min of talking to him. How awesome is that? He helped me and he had never even met me and I had not spent a dime with him. I made an appointment for him to come out and take a look at the filter and he agreed it needed to be replaced. He removed the old filter and installed a new one with all new pipes and valves within two days of the original appointment for $800.00. My pool is now working perfectly. Thanks Bill!

Description of Work: Bill responded quickly to our call, diagnosed the problem and scheduled the intallation at our convenience. It's an old pool with aging equipment and he could have easily said, "everything's got to go." We wouldn't have questioned it at all. But he checked out everything and came up with a plan that we've been extremely happy with. Couldn't be more pleased.

Description of Work: I contacted Moore's as a result of checking them out on Angie's List. I requested an on site estimate for regular pool service. I was surprised and disappointed when I discovered Moore's does not service my area and sent a rep from another company.

Description of Work: The company called me promptly and disscussed my problem. Since it was out of his work area he gave me a name of another pool service and they called me directly. Thank you Mr. Moore for going out of your way. Deffinately a great company to hire!!

Description of Work: Mr Moore showed up and inspected our pool filter and plumbing. I told him I though that we needed to change the sand .He told me it was probably time to do a pool flush and acid bath. He rebuilt my backflush valve and put a new pressure gauge on my filter We will be scheduling the service after the first of the year. He was very knowledgeable and explained everything involved and gave me a good approximation of the cost. I look forward to working with him on this project

Description of Work: I called Mr. Moore to come by and troubleshoot my salt water pool, which had been having intermittent problems with low salt levels, etc. I had determined that my regular pool service hadn't been regularly cleaning the capsule; when I did this myself, the problem went away. I asked Mr. Moore to come by and give me some instructions on how to maintain the pool myself and to check the equipment, which he did before going home to lunch about 45 minutes after I called him. He took me step by step on the procedures to follow, and how to cap the system in the winter and save the life of the capsule for heavy summer use. I will discontinue my regular pool service, do maintenance myself from now on, and use Moore's Pool Service for the major repairs, etc. Extremely knowledgeable, courteous, prompt and to the point. Didn't charge me for the visit, although I wanted to pay him. Obviously I will use his services from now on.

Description of Work: Pool was not clear. Bill came out and cleaned the DE filter and got the chemistry correct. Looks great now, and Bill comes out once a week.

Description of Work: I called Moore - they were very helpful and courteous on the phone but did not have the resources to solve my problem. We had a bad heat pump on our pool heater. They made recommendations on who might be able to fix our problem which was appreciated.
