The process was good and smooth!

They actually came a day early. That was nice for a change. They worked quickly and did an excellent job. All involved were very professional and pleasant. Finished a day sooner than was originally thought and that was a bonus as we had plans to leave town. Bruce will be the first one we call when tile work done again. Couldn't be happier with the whole experience.

Project took six days plus a few hours a few weeks later to install the glass partition. Bruce functions as the general contractor and has guys who have worked for him for awhile. Bruce does the estimating and tells you what you need to buy, i.e.. so much tile, so much grout, and then his guys come and do the work. I bought the tile and grout at a discount house and Bruce had his guys pick it up and bring it to the house. Bruce was always on time, his estimate of material needed to do the job was right on, his guys were always on time, neat, pleasant, and responsive. They installed a decorative line of tiles across a niche as I'd asked them to do but when I saw it I did not like the look so had then change it. They did so without any question or hassle or additional cost. I was unable to use the guest bathroom for almost three weeks while we waited of the glass partition to be cut and installed. That was annoying, but not a big deal. Just wish they could get the glass done quicker. I always think projects like this cost too much, but I guess you get what you pay for. I'd hire Bruce and his guys again for another remodel without question. Very professional from start to finish. For the record, Bruce paid for my one year subscription to Angies List, but I would have written the exact same description and given him the same score regardless.

I was very pleased with the outcome of my new porcelain tile installation for my condo. Bruce and his associates were pleasant, professional to work with, and put the necessary time and thought into how the final product would look. I was impressed with the true attention to detail they placed on the different aspects of the flooring such as: the spacing of the tile, the continuity and integrity of the way the pieces were placed, etc. I also felt the price was extremely reasonable for the quality of work that was done, and was very appreciative of this. Overall, I would highly recommend Bruce and Gainey Flooring Solutions for anyone wanting to make a change with their flooring.

Bruce was very responsive to communications which is extremely important to me and my fiance. The work they did was great quality. Me and my fiance did most of the design and choosing of products, but Bruce gave input and IMO guided us away from bad decisions. There were some points of contention between us and most notably, my fiance felt frustrated a few times that complaints/concerns she raised were not being taken seriously and once or twice she felt like communications were not 100% professional, but in his defense, we were sometimes demanding about what we wanted and inexperienced in dealing with contractors. One thing we learned from this experience is that in the future, we want a better line-item cost/breakdown of each piece of work so that when things change for whatever reason, we can easily renegotiate the costs. Their work certainly wasn't perfect, but it was very good and where there were problems, the got them resolved satisfactorily Bruce left town for about 10 days in the middle of the project and that was not understood by us when we started the project and we feel it caused delays, however, some guys did continue to work so the project didn't come to a halt. Related to this was the flooring guys got most of the way through with the flooring and then left for another job for a few weeks before coming back to finish. In the end though, we love the final product, and we had Bruce's company install his own supplied baseboards and those too came out not perfect, but very nice. So I personally would use Bruce again but would be more educated on the contract and timeline matters. The more you assume, the more likely you will be disappointed.

It went extremely well. The crew is the best I have seen. Bruce is fast to reply to emails and offers a fair price. There has always been a follow up by Bruce after the job. He is my go to for anything using tiles.

My wife and I had been looking for someone to do a master bath remodel for nearly a year. We had talked with several contractors, but could not find one we were comfortable with and one that offered a price that fit our budget. Finally, we got a recommendation from a tile supplier . . . . Gainey Flooring Solutions. We called Gainey Flooring Solutions to set up an appointment to review what we wanted done and to obtain an estimate. On the date of the appointment, Bruce called early in the day to check if were still OK with the appointment. Again, he called just prior to the appointment time to advise that he was on his way. Upon his prompt arrival at our house, Bruce introduced himself and provided us with his business card. We reviewed what we had in mind for our master bath remodel and Bruce offered suggestions and current ideas that were consistent with what others were looking for in bath remodels. We combined our ideas with some of Bruce?s suggestions. Bruce provided us with a ballpark estimate based on what we discussed. He also gave us the names of plumbing supply houses where we could visit to look at tubs and plumbing fixtures. After selecting the tub and plumbing fixtures, Bruce provided us with email estimate. We setup another appointment for final review and he shared the next steps and presented the contract. Again, on the date of the visit, he confirmed that we were OK with the time of the appointment and called to advise that he was on his way to our home. Each of the subcontractors also called on the first day of their service to advise/confirm of their arrival time. They also introduced themselves and explained what they would be doing during their visit. On their departure, they reviewed what they had done and the next steps. If they were returning the following day, they?d advise of their arrival time. Each of the subs were timely, courteous, professional and neat (they prepped the area to ensure that carpeting tile, etc. were covered to protect from dirt, etc. They cleaned up each day.) Throughout the project, Bruce stayed in contact to advise us of the next steps and to ensure that we were satisfied with the progress and to obtain feedback on the subs. The project was completed within the estimated timeline and budget. It is apparent that Gainey Flooring Solutions places Customer Satisfaction as their priority. In today?s environment, it is very difficult to find vendors that value the customer by arriving on time for appointments, showing sensitivity to the customers welfare/security and being flexible to the customers requirements vs their own. We are VERY satisfied with the project results and have received many favorable comments from friends and family. Highly recommend Gainey Flooring Solutions

The project went off without any issues. The install started and finished exactly when they said it would. My subflooring was not exactly the best at the project start but the team at Gainey Flooring corrected the imperfections and delivered a high quality result. In addition to the flooring Gainey Flooring installed new 5" baseboards in the new areas and I have to say they look amazing. Neighbors are all jealous of the flooring and are looking to make changes themselves. Our home is now truly the show place we hope it to be. Bruce at Gainey flooring solutions was a treasure trove of information in regard to tile and wood flooring options for my recently purchased house. I ended up choosing a top quality laminate wood and I could not be happier with the finished product. His installation prices are very reasonable and he under promises and over delivers! The tile demo began on July 30. and estimated the time to complete the job either on Saturday August 1 or Monday August 3 depending on how much floor preparation was needed after the tile was removed. His crew was very proficient, polite and professional. They finished the job on the evening of July 31 , 1 day earlier than his best estimate of time. The floors look great and he even was able to reuse(paint and reinstall)the baseboards saving me at least $1000.
