Josh is AMAZING!!! Josh is patient, pleasant, educates the customer, and he is prompt. He initially came to our home approx. one year ago to assess our newly purchased home's landscaping sprinkler system. Josh made recommendations and advised us of our options (budget wise). Josh didn't try to push a sale, or up sell us. As a result, and when time and finances permitted it, we contacted Controlled Rain and had them do the work. It was because of Josh's initial impression that we went back. We will be using Controlled Rain in the near future for additional work (outdoor lighting) install.

Justin called when I expected and told me he was on his way. Arrived right on time. I asked him to do a complete check of the bubbler system for my entire property to insure it was operating properly and was set up correctly. He did so and advised me what to watch for that would indicate any problems in the system. He also went over the timer and made certain I know how to operate it correctly. Justin answered all my questions and was very professional. I will certainly call them again if and when their services are required. Thank you Justin.

We discovered a major leak just before going out of state. Josh responded the same day, gave us an estimate and returned to complete the work while we were gone. Everything was perfect. We will use them the next time we have a problem.

We just moved into our new home and discovered that our drip system had multiple leaks throughout our yard. We decided to replace the whole system since it was likely the original was installed when the house was built (in 1999). We worked with Josh who was extremely friendly and professional. He came out one morning to give us a quote for the work and took a look around our yard. He was knowledgeable and explained the different settings needed for trees, bushes, cactus, and potted plants. He and his team came back out to complete the work another day. The work took them approx. 3 hours. I sleep during the day and I was very pleased at how quiet they were when working. I wrote Josh a check for the work and he sent us an email explaining all of the settings, watering times, and corresponding plants. After he left, my fiancé brought it to my attention that there was a $100 coupon for using Angies list which I forgot to mention. He called the company and informed them of this and they sent us a refund of $100 that week. We called Josh back out to our house 2 weeks later because we were still concerned about wet soil we were observing around the yard in areas without plants. He came out to our house, turned on the system, and watched it run for 20 minutes. He concluded that the wet areas we were seeing was water runoff from the tree near our back wall. We would definitely recommend this company again. They provided great customer service and we were very happy with their work.

I thought I had a broken sprinkler but turned out the system needed to be reprogrammed. This company could of told me I needed a lot of work done. But "Justin " was honest and let me know all I needed was the system to be programmed correctly. I will always recommend and use this company.

The specialists arrived on time after confirming by e-mail the evening before. They had the tools they needed and did the work in less time than we had expected. They also advised us NOT to spend money on something we were considering...which was very helpful.

I called Controlled Rain because my irrigation controller was displaying a Pump Fault message, and there was a leak in the water supply line to the irrigation system. Ken was punctual, and began troubleshooting the wiring issue right away. The controller had been wired wrong, which he corrected, and from the error message that displayed after that, replaced a zone's solenoid. He found the leak in the water supply line, but after removing the joint causing the issue, the copper pipe join had stripped threading so he couldn't finish the job since they don't work with copper lines. However, he told me exactly what to tell a plumber to have them quote the job, and since he couldn't complete the job as he had quoted it, charged me far less than what we originally agreed upon, even though it wasn't his fault that the pipe thread was stripped. I will definitely be using Controlled Rain again in the future. I was very happy with their service and pricing.

Their price was wonderful, and they did what we needed them to do. They were on time, informative, and seemed very knowledgeable. They were also very creative about finding a solution.

Quoted a higher price initially, but came in much under budget because it was not as difficult job as they envisioned. They were very professional and did a great job.

This is the second time I have used Controlled Rain and the experience was just like the first. Josh showed up on time and is very knowledgeable and personable. He took time to walk around with me to observe the irrigation zones, discuss issues and make recommendations. He got right to work and resolved the irrigation issues I was having. I will definitely hire again and recommend their services to others. Scheduling is easy, the price is reasonable, and most importantly, they are honest and professional.

service man called a few days ahead of scheduled appointment, to see if he could drop by, and I was able to meet him. He came back the following day to complete the work. Very happy with the service, and the repairs.

Josh was warm, friendly, unassuming and very knowledgable. He told me everything he was going to do , did....and what had to be ordered. He did not ask for payment, in fact asked him if he needed me to pay him, and he said, no....when the job was completed, that would work. He was on time....I was very pleased with him. I am a widow, and he was a blessing. will definitely contact them again, if need be.

My drip irrigation was leaking from one of the valves. The service representative got back to me promptly and set up the appointment in a timely manner. The repairman came to my house as scheduled and was onetime. He knew my system and went right to work. He finished quickly. The only problem I had later on was that he inadvertently shut off one of the zones. Otherwise I am pleased. The company sends the invoice electronically which I find efficient and useful.

Josh was on time, very pleasant and found the problems very quickly. The first issue was my timer not working correctly. Josh checked it out and mentioned my model had a known issue concerning the clock and would be covered under warranty so no charge for replacement unit, only labor. I had the timer replaced a couple of years ago - but did not use this company - but they honored the warranty basically no questions asked. Unfortunately Josh did not have a replacement unit with him, but said another person in the area did have it. This person showed up a few hours later and installed, unfortunately I dont recall his name. The 2nd issue was no water in the back yard drip system. Josh determined the issue in just a few minutes and had it fixed up in no time. My neighbors plants had somehow managed to get a root inside the water line and the root had become so large - it completely blocked the water flow. Excellent service, excellent experience.

Ken was punctual and professional. Communicated with me when he was on the way. I emailed him with questions afterwards and he responded promptly. Very smooth transaction from start to finish. Nice guy. Will use this company again in the future.

It was a 20 feet line. I thought they did a good job and they were very responsive. I also thought the price was very reasonable.
