Controlled Rain is an exceptional company. They are responsive, thorough with their work, and very caring. Ken did a great job fixing our system and uncovering several other issues that we hadn't seen yet. Thank you again for all your help.

I had some issues with my drip system after my yard had been remodeled last year. There were some leaks in an old line and some plants were receiving water. I had a couple visits by Controlled Rain servicemen that did't completely solve the issues and I contacted Josh to see what could be done. Josh expressed the sincere desire to make to proper corrections. He personally came to my house and spent the necessary time to diagnose what was going on and solved the issues. He followed up with me via email explaining what he had found and done to correct the problem. I certainly appreciated his commitment to correcting the problems of my system. In a day where many folks would just cut the ties when the solution to a problem wasn't coming easily, Josh stuck in there and was highly committed to making it right. How refreshing!!!! I would recommend Controlled Rain and use them again in the future. Being in my home for 20 years, I realize that not every home issue is a "quick and easy fix". I appreciate the integrity and commitment to excellent customer service Josh displayed in my case.

Intially contacted for evaluation and adjustments to old existing system. We have had them out several times in the last 6 months for small leaks as well as replacing the control box and running more drip lines. Always friendly, with good solutions and quick to respond. Fairly priced as well.

Our sprinkler box was flooding (which was flooding our yard). We called on a Monday and set up an appointment for Wednesday, they were on time and knew exactly what needed to be done. They fixed the issue in the sprinkler box and checked the whole system (we've lived in our house for two years and hadn't ever had it checked or anything). They fixed a few drip line tips and checked the timers etc. Overall they were very professional and knowledgable. I would definitely recommend them and use them again!

He called and asked if he could come early to the appointment, which I could accommodate. Arrived on time and went to work. I was truly impressed with how quickly he moved bricks, dug to the leak, repaired it, and put everything back. Then he replaced the sprinkler heads with better ones and adjusted for much better spray coverage on the lawn. The whole visit was less than 45 minutes. Very professional and quick.

I noticed one evening that my Irrigation Control Box was flooded and water was pouring out onto the yard and down the street. I searched The List and called the company next morning at about 7 am based on the positive reviews. Received a call at 8:30 that day and they promptly scheduled to come out the next week. The office manager that took my request was very professional and knew just what I likely needed. They came out as scheduled, repaired the part, then tested the system. I got an e mailed invoice seemingly hours later. The cost of the repair was reduced 10% for an Angie's List coupon.

Did a fantastic job took out old leaky multi valve irrigation system in our back yard and replaced valve system with high quality Repaired drip line leak. Very reasonably priced - this was an excellent experience. I will call if need in the future. Very quick, professional and detailed. Great Job I highly recommend. He is in my favorites. Don't get a landscaper to do your irrigation, get an irrigation specialist like Josh. My experience was excellent, I wasted my money with landscaper. They are expensive and go with cheaper quality where you will spend $$ on water bills and repair. Irrigation specialist understand irrigation needs. Do it right the first time.

Contacted Controlled Rain, and on short notice, they dispatched a technician to work the problem. Technician showed up on time, verified my sprinkler timer was not functioning, and under warranty, replaced it, and replaced a sprinkler valve. Fast and efficient service!

Ken from Controlled Rain explained my irrigation system in a patient maner so I could make an intelligent decision on how to proceed with some improvements in my yard. He was helpful and efficient. The job was done well and I would call him again.

Work was performed by Josh, who was outstanding. There was urgency to the service call given the very high temps. Problem solved quickly, professionally at a reasonable price. Very happy we called this company.

They were very punctual and professional. The first visit to work on the clock didn't seem to fix the problem, so I called them back and they sent a man back out and he fixed the anti-siphon valve and it fixed the issue. I was very pleased on how quickly they got back to me and how they handled my problem. I would highly recommend them and use them again, if needed.

I worked with the owner of this small business and I was really impressed. He spent extra time helping me with advice, gave me discounts, and even gave told me "listen, I can do this for you and charge you, or you can go buy this part number and install it in 10 minutes yourself and save 100 bucks". That was impressive. I love supporting small business, so I went with him, and he proceeded to work my entire system over in very fine detail. You can't get better than that. Period. These guys are the best.

It's an ongoing thing. I have a system that's ageing. They're quick to come out. They are very reasonably priced and are very responsive. Their prices are competitive.

We have used this company for about 3 1/2 years. They are very friendly, professional, and competent. You rarely get all 3 of those things with service providers these days. Thank you, Josh!

They arrived right on time and started work. They completed the work promptly and efficiently. At the conclusion of the job, Josh reviewed with me what had been done. I couldn't ask for a better job.

Justin came out and have advice and a quote for work done on a leaky drip system -- other companies were balking at even coming out -- Justin was quick to layout several possibilities and recommended a test to get things started. Have to say - the straight up and quick help means I'll come back to them if (when) it needs repair

Was awesome, this is the second time I had Ken perform services. He explains what he recommends and completes the job. He could have sold me a new system, but advises what can be done rather than take advantage of his customers.

When I first called, Carol said that they could come out the next day. When I told her I was busy that day she let me go to call another service man to see if he could make it the day I called. She called me right back and said that Jim would come by that afternoon. Carol was great. Jim came around 2pm and inspected the controller and the valves. He said that the controller needed to be rebuilt (it was 16 years old). He did the job quickly and inspected all the watering sites to make sure that they were working. He explained all the work that was doing and the price and showed me how to use the new controller. He did program the new controller to my specifications and the next day the water came on as it was suppose to. He was very respectful of me and very friendly. I had them come a few years back to replace a valve. They still had me in their system. Would call them again when I need service.

The team arrived on time, having left a voice mail that morning that they were on their way. They were fairly professional in their demeanor, with the exception of one person who was seen to be focusing on his phone on several occasions when I glanced out the window. I was surprised to note that none of the sprinkler heads in the grass area had not been replaced. The previous sprinkler heads with chunks missing from where the lawnmower chipped them remained. As did the sprinkler heads which spewed water several feet past the grassy area. This was a complaint I voiced on our first meeting in which the bid was based on as well as the visit to perform the work. A pot in front of the garage which I also requested a water line to in our first visit as well as the visit to perform the work remained without a water line. In addition. two areas where I feared leakage under pavers were not addressed at all. These two areas were mentioned in the "bid visit" as well as the visit in which repairs were to be made. For the quoted price of $1500, I expected that all lines would replaced with new and that all sprinkler heads were replaced with new as well and that each pot that I requested a line to would be accommodated. Our back yard was left sloppily. Pavers and gravel were covered in dirt. Our front yard hose was left unattached to the faucet as well. I have been in contact with Controlled Rain and they will be returning next week to remedy "my issues". I'll update my review based upon the remedies offered. .

Nothing less than Perfection. Within 1 hour of contacting Controlled Rain via Angie's List, I was contacted about details an to setup and appointment. Appointment was setup for next day early morning, which was very surprising, other companies I've used take a week or so. Jim from Controlled Rain called me 25 minutes prior to arriving, giving me plenty of time too be prepared. Jim arrived 100% on time and looked very professional. He asked where the leak was and I walked him over to it, and he fixed it in 5 minutes. Since it was so quick, I had him investigate a few other issues I've noticed. Jim was very knowledgeable and adjusted my watering schedule to hopefully take care of some of my issues. I've had some other companies that I've used in the past and always felt that I wasn't a major priority because I have a small house. Jim and Controlled Rain made me feel like top priority, and this is the professionalism I would expect from any company. I will be using Controlled Rain Exclusively for any of my lawn/irrigation work in the future. I've already scheduled some more work to be done. Use Controlled Rain, you won't be disappointed.

They responded to me within an hour of my request, and scheduled a technician to be at my house the next day! The tech called me (I was stuck at work) and gave me a quote to do the repair on the spot. I agreed and he did the work right away. No more leak, and no mess from where the irrigation line was replaced. I couldn't be happier. Next time we have an irrigation issue, I'll be calling them out to fix it!

After checking it all out could not find a break in the line. Called me to follow up while he was on still site. He tried a few other things but determined that it was due to having the sprinklers setting on too long. Adjusted the settings and told me there would be no charge since there was nothing to be fixed. How refreshing...
