They came out when they said they would and charged me the estimate they gave minus the 10% discount they were offering. Ken was quick, efficient, and knowledgeable. + -1 moreCalled controlled rain and made an appointment. I have used them before and then again found them on angies list. They called before they came out and were here shortly after were here. They found the leak in short order and repaired it and then tested the line and found 2 more leaks and they repaired them too. That's what i like about controlled rain they go above and beyond . I would definitely use them again. He was here for a total of about an hour and repaired everything. Great job.

Justin at Controlled Rain came today and he did an outstanding job! He was quick, efficient, and knowledgable. Very professional business all around, and I would highly recommend them to everyone.
Description of Work: Controlled Rain fixed some leaks in my drip irrigation system, removed some irrigation off some desert trees that I wanted to not be irrigated anymore, and adjusted the lines on some of my other plants.

But it turned out that it was mostly a problem with the valves in my drip system and they fixed it very easily and made sure that all my plants had water. So when I decide to add to my landscaping all I have to do is call them to have them add more lines. I had been debating about whether to put AstroTurf in my backyard or potentially fix that part of the system. They helped me make my decision by finding that it wasn't simple fix. They were so easy to work with, showed up on time, answered all my questions, and I have been very happy with the results.
Description of Work: They replaced my sprinkler valves and added drip lines to unwatered plants.

+ 0 moreThey were so good. The young man came out and thought he had fixed it but it was still leaking so he came back right away, saying it was his fault, and fixed it immediately. I thought they were great so I also had them replace my water ballasts outside.

They can back and did the work in a timely manner and I am pleased so far with the work. they even reminded me of the angies list discount they have. Justin was professional and courtious. I will call them when I need them again adn I will refer my friends.

Description of Work: After getting a water bill 5x the normal amount we did some investigating and noticed the lawn sprinkler head were all seaping water. Looked online for help, one idea was to check the valves and sure enough it wasn't shutting off. Contacted the company and Josh came out to see what he could do. He agreed with me that the valve was bad and that he could rebuild it rather than replace, much less cost, also had him look at the entire system and found 3 leaking lines, fixed numerous emitters etc. He also found a that we have another leak in the system as well as a poss leak in the main line coming to the house from the street. Advised we contact a plumber on that issue, he would then come back to finish the remaining irrigation issue

+ -1 moreAfter installing a better sprinkler head on the first call, Justin explained that we were better off with the rest of them like that, so my wife got an estimate from him and scheduled a second service call and he came 1 week later and was on time and did the job. Very professional work. We had been paying more than what he charged for the work he did. Would use this company from now on.
Description of Work: This was actually a service call that my wife requested after the original service call. She made the deal with Justin who had done the first service call a week ago, and he came right on time and switched all our sprinkler heads to ones that save water and do not spray all over the yard.

Kim called me right back within a half hour and said that Justin would be in my area the same day and could come by later in the afternoon. Justin arrived promptly and checked the whole system, the timer, and replaced some valves, heads and drip emitters. He provided an estimate which I accepted and was here a total of one hour. He was friendly, efficient and very knowledgable. He took time to answer my questions. Controlled Rain is a responsive and professional company that I will definitley use the next time I have irrigation needs. I highly recommend them to others.

We had a concern about a week after the work was completed that another company might have cut one of the irigation pipes while doing their work. Controlled rain came right out to check on the issue. We especially enjoyed working with Josh and would highly recommend this company!

+ -1 moreUpset that 2 weeks after they checked the irrigation system, one of the valves in the backyard stopped working. When I called them out again, all he did was unscrew the top of the valve and clean it out. Then he said it wouldn't last much longer because they were low quality valves that the previous owner had put in and that I could buy a new one at Home Depot and replace it myself. I wouldn't have called an "irrigation specialist" if I could do these things myself. I am not going to keep paying for service calls for these guys to come monkey around with my valves to get them to work again because they don't want to replace any of them.
Description of Work: I had them come out August 26th to check out the irrigation system front and back to make sure everything was working properly, fix a zone that wasn't watering, and adjust the watering times. On September 6th, Ken came out to fix a valve in the back yard that stopped working.

+ -1 moreEverything seemed to be in working order. It turns out just that we have had such a dry period. They were able to give me some suggestions on what to do in the future. They came out on time and did exactly what I wanted and adjusted the sprinkler system to accomidate more watering. This seemed to do the trick.
Description of Work: I was having problems with my drip system which I thought my emitters were not emitting the right amount of water.
