A Advanced Garage Door Service

Very well. We called early in the morning, and a tech was out within 30 minutes! Very knowledgeable, friendly and efficient. Replaced the springs without any mess or fuss. Doors work perfectly, and much quieter thanks to the servicing.

The tech was 2 hours late due to his previous job. A phone call would of done wonders. He said he misplaced his phone????? I would use him again very professional and polite.

This company was assigned to us by our home warranty company. I called the home warranty company on Saturday. Advanced Garage Door Service called me first thing Monday morning to schedule an appointment for later that afternoon. He called me an hour before he was scheduled to arrive and asked if it was okay if he arrived early. When he arrived, he was very friendly and courteous. He immediately identified the problem, fixed it and then continued to give the system a check over and fixed another problem that I hadn't even asked about. All this and he was FAST about it. He wasn't here any longer than 20 minutes. On top of it all he (Joey) understands 3 year old speak, as my 3 year old was showing him everything in the garage. I was very please with the experience and will keep him in my contacts for the future.

On Thursday 8/1 my garage door finally gave out. In the morning I made three phone calls for garage door companies to come out and give estimates. I received two calls back, promptly. On my message I stated I'd found their reputation on Angies List to be good and was looking forward to possibly working with them. It's been six (6) days now and I've not heard back from Advanced Garage Door.

I had a garage that was in terrible shape it went up and down with no motor but very rough. Joel put in a motor, back stop, adjusted the tracks, installed sensors, weather stripping, the button for the garage + a keypad and even leveled it out as good as it could be since it sits on uneven pavement. You can tell he knows what hes talking about and hes not charging you for any services you dont need he explains everything really well. He does not rush through the job and at the end he looks it over with you and makes sure your satisfied with it. Awesome company.

I contacted my home warranty company because one of our garage doors wouldn't close. Tim came out and immediately diagnosed the problem, replaced the sensors, and then took the initiative to service both wood garage doors and the chain drives. He was friendly, informative, and efficient. I would definitely use this company again!

I called in the morning and had an appointment for that afternoon. Joel arrived promptly, in the middle of the 2 hour window I was given. He quickly assessed and explained the problem, gave me a reasonable quote and fixed it. The whole appointment took less than 20 minutes start to finish. I am very happy with the entire process and the service- very customer oriented- and will use them again!

I spoke with Joel and explained the symptoms that my garage door opener was having. He told me what was probably causing the problem and gave me an estimate of the cost, which seemed to be very reasonable. He did not try to sell me more than that; however, I asked how much it would cost for a complete replacement of the opener so he gave me estimates for several alternatives. Since my unit was quite old, I decided to get a complete replacement and he told me that they could instal it the next morning between 8:00 and 10:00 am. Tim, the technician arrived promptly at 8:00 am and was very professional, neat and friendly. He encountered a problem and was able to diagnose and resolve it quite quickly. The cost was exactly what Joel said it would be. The door now works very smoothly and we are very happy with the job. Advanced Garage Door Service deserves the excellent reviews that they have received!

Remote opener was not working, so he came out and checked it. Remote worked fine so he went out and got his ladder and looked at the top part. Took the main box off the top of the door and it is an old door and the parts are not available. It would need to be replaced which would have been about $400. I told him I just paid to have my doors installed and I am going to hold off since sometimes my remote works. He said ok he would see me in a month when I was ready and he didn't charge me. That was classy. He would not charge me since I do not do anything and I know that you will use me when you are ready to do work.

We hired Advanced Garage Door to replace a fairly primitive opener that lacked safety and convenience features and was becoming unreliable. The technician arrived within the ageed upon time frame and got right to work. Rather than using an existing connector on the door (which was rather poorly placed) he removed it and replaced it with a properly positioned connector.. After installing the opener and adjusting it, he then went over the entire structure, adjusting guide rails, springs, rollers and cleaning/lubricating all moving parts.. He then programmed the remotes and an outside keypad, explaining the operation as he went about the work. When all this was done, he programmed the HomeLink devices on both of our cars. We're very happy with the work. While the price was not cheap, the work was completed at the quoted price, unlike others in this business who use a bargain price as an entry to your home and immediately begin upselling and finding other items supposedly in need of repair. We have used this company once before for a small repair/adjustment. They are reliable, professional and ethical.

I left a message for on their machine and was not called back. I called again and was able to make an appointment. They worked around my schedule and did very good work. I am pleased with the result.

I had one of my spring’s snap so I called to schedule service on my two-car garage door. He came out the next day, on time, replaced both springs, leveled the door, lubed the rollers and was done & gone in about 40 minutes. He accepted my credit card which was convenient and he said he'd take a check too FYI. Very fast and a quality job, all for under $200. Later I was talking with a neighbor & he spent $350 for the same job from a different company- poor guy.

Advanced Garage Door replaced my sensors in June 2012 and door operated fine after that until very recently. door started reversing itself and would not close. i called and representative came out next day; observed the problem, offered to exchange sensors at no cost. it solved my problem. i offered to pay but he said no, sensors and labor were covered by warranty. door works fine again.

They did an excellent job. This guy came and gave me a quote. He had the materials with him and was able to do the repair just then. He got it done in about an hour and was gone. I was thinking of replacing the doors because I was having trouble finding anyone with these 16 foot struts. But, he had them on him, did the repair, and everything worked out great.

Great. Service was prompt, professional and at a fair price. Would use this company again.

This was the second time that I used Advanced Garage Door, and it was an equally positive experience. They were very responsive (same day service), the work was done quickly and professionally and I was very happy with the results.

The tech found that a piece of metal was "catching" on the chain as the door moved in downward motion. He felt this might have been due to the adjusting that had been done previously. It was minor and a very simple adjustment; the work took him approximately ten minutes. There was no charge whatsoever! We have used this company a couple of times previously and have been impressed with their timeliness and efficiency.

Joel was friendly over the phone, gave an honest opinion of what opener would work for us (he assessed that we wouldn't really need a more expensive 3/4hp model, when he could have easily up-sold us), and quoted an exact price. He missed his appointment window, which was a little inconvenient, but he called with a valid excuse and asked if we could still do the install the same day just later than the original time. When he arrived, he was just as friendly as on the phone, acted professional, and quickly removed and installed the new garage-door opener. He serviced the door spring and inspected the whole setup for no extra charge. He even reprogrammed the old system's universal remote since he knew it would work with the new opener. Overall it was a very good experience and we will use him for any future needs.
