I contacted the provider based upon AL reviews. Doug stated he would do a "complete overhaul", new liftmaster, springs, tune up for $349, as this was the price he was offering through the deal on AL. I was having the work performed on a high end rental property. Doug took my credit card by phone and stated he would e-mail a receipt once the work was complete.---I invested my trust in him. His tech did change out the motor, but did no other work. We were provided one very cheap opener button---not 'lift master' that comes with the unit. The tech did not bother to program the other door to the remote. My card was charged $392.33 and I did not receive an invoice with paid receipt as promised by Doug, so I have no idea how we got from $349 to $392.33---tax is not that much. I am very displeased that the work contracted and paid for was not completed, that the price was not as quoted, and that the paid receipt was not provided as promised by the provider. The value was poor and service was poor.

They did it quickly and they turned out fine. They are on time and as far as I know, they have a good quality of materials and also they know their business.

went well, tech check garage door opener also adjusted opener to manufacture spec. lubricated opener.Also informed me of cost for new opener that could be controlled by my smart phone on the internet.

The technician arrived precisely at the time promised, worked quickly, explained what he did and left after a courteous explanation.

The whole problem here is that I paid a $40 coupon from Angie's list for a lubrication of my garage door and advice on why it was so noisy. The technician told gave me a number of expensive options but to his credit did not push them or "sell me up." But the key service I had paid for was a LUBRICATION. And he said (really) "Sorry I don't have any of that lubrication type of grease. I am all out. But here is the right kind to buy." I did that -- went to ACE and bought the correct grease and the door works great. But if I am paying $40 for a lubrication job, doesn't that include the actual lubrication rather than advice on what to get? I completely confirm that it was myself who spoke with the technician. I still can't quite believe how unprofessional he was in telling me what I needed (and he was right) but showing up without the proper grease. He even put this horrible black grease on the driver (which he admitted was the wrong stuff) and I had to clean it all off. This is not rocket science! I kept thinking he would refund my money since he didn't have the right materials. And I support the small businessperson 100%. I know it is rough making money. But this is a very simple problem and a disgraceful failure to come even minimally prepared.

Jeremiah did such an amazing job replacing our garage door! He came to collect the specs for the job on Tuesday and was finished with the install on Wednesday! My husband (bless him) is the type who hasn't always believed in updating the house, because he doesn't want to price ourselves out of the neighborhood, saw the new garage, heard it run and is now a believer! Thanks Garage Guys now I get my whole house redone!

The technician came out and provided a quote of $250 to repair a garage door that wasn't closing properly. He asked how we had heard about the company, and we informed him that it was through Angie's List. He then charged $35 for the service call, even though The Garage Guys' page states "yes" on its page under "free estimates" (with no clarification that these free estimates don't include "repairs"). When we called the owner to discuss the fee, he stated that the free estimates are for garage door replacement only, something that wasn't clear on their Angie's List page. I advised him to get this updated as this information is misleading. The owner did state that he told us that there would be a service call fee. This might have been true (I don't recall that), but the page still states that the estimates are free. He also said that the technician over quoted us, not knowing that we were Angie's List customers, which qualifies us for a $25 discount on the part required. We clearly told the technician that we received their name from Angie's List.

In terms of punctuality, it was a good "A". In terms of professionalism, i was a little uncomfortable; i got discrepancies between what the owner said that would be done and what the technician said in terms of programming one of the cars. Specifically what can be done and should be done, should be well spelt.

They were fine. It turned out my garage needed a whole lot more work and I ended up spending $500 and everything that they recommended was obviously needed to be fixed. They showed up on time and they appear to do quality work. I was pretty happy with the result. He showed me where all the issues were and it was obvious that the garage door hasn’t been touched since the house was built and that was 17 years ago. I thought their pricing is fair. One guy showed up on time and didn’t bother me and just went and did his work. He came in every time that he found and left it up to me if I want to do the work. I would definitely refer them to others and I would use them again in a heartbeat.

Garage door was squealing. Replaced the springs and the rollers. Very responsive.

Not a happy camper. The work was done on a rental. I wanted to use the Big Deal and he said that it did not cover the work.

Nice guy. I wasn't offended with the upsell because I knew my door was having some issue's. Quiet as a mouse now.

Seemed like the tune up charge should have been deducted from the cost for the rollers.

Arrived on time, assessed repair. They patiently waited for my husband to run home from work and move his motorcycle out of the way. Problem fixed (springs) in 1/2 hour. Nice young gentlemen.

On time, thorough, honest about repairs needed. We questioned about needing a new door or opener. We haven't lived in a 2 story house before with a room over the garage and were not aware of how noisy the door can be. They suggested a different kind of opener if we wanted it quieter but indicated the door was operating fine.

Not much. But I only paid $ 40.00. He was late by 2 hrs, that's OK, but all he did was spray lube on friction areas. Which I had already done in week prior. He attempted to make some motor adjustment, but all in all he was there for 10 minutes. Will not purchase this package again. He did show me how to fix sticking garage door but he could not fix it because it was not part of the package. So I worked on it after he left to fix sticking garage door

They were awesome and fabulous. They came immediately. They were very communicative and respective. They explained everything and did a wonderful job.

The young man was polite. He asked what was the main problem. He lubricated the door and the spring cable. He gave me an estimate for several hundred dollers to do repair work to the motor and replace door rollers. |I declined, and he left. The lubrication he did resolved the problem of the door not opening all the way or closing all the way.

IT WENT JUST AS PROMISED...WITH NO SURPRISE AT THE END

Doug came, was on time, efficient and personable. His service was quick and he showed us what possible problems could be in the future. We already had an idea but, needed a quick fix for now. We will definitely be calling Doug and his company soon. We would not think of calling anyone else because their service was exceptional! Thanks Garage Guys for the best professional experience we have ever had!

Our old unit was 19 years old, as well as all the parts. Jeremiah was on time, and did a beautiful install job with the automatic door opener in the ad. Jeremiah was thorough, explained everything along the way. The new opener is whisper quiet. Our old unit would wake the dead. Even though we were not expecting to pay this much, this was money well spent. Thanks, Jeremiah!

They were efficient, I needed it, and it was straight. They were great.

Doug came on time and inspected the garage door. He replaced all the rollers because the old rollers were catching on parts of the track and threatening to destroy the tracks. He also lubricated and adjusted the garage door and its opener. I am very satisfied with his work and his demeanor.
