First class service. Really appreciate showing me the specifics on how the worn rollers were about to fail. Also he compared both springs on two separate doors explaining the difference between the worn door springs in comparison with the perfectly fine spring on my smaller garage door. Really appreciate his honesty and great service.

He was to the point...technical explanations...how would I know if I needed what he said. The motor works fine but my door would stop after going up 5 inches unless I help pull it past 24 inches. Went down easily though.

My Garage Guys: The Owner of the company was also the technician that came out to work on my garage door. Although he didn't have any jobs near my location he still made a point to come out and take care of my repair. He immediately located the problem - a broken spring. He also did a thorough inspection of all the garage door parts and then explained how the different parts work, what I could expect in the future and then made suggestions on what to replace/what to keep and maintain. He did a GREAT job all-around, I would definitely call this company again if I need garage door work done. Just to let you know this is a Veteran owned business and from talking to him I can tell that he's an honest guy, works hard - gets the job done right and takes pride in doing a great job. I encourage you to use this business!

I've not had any more trouble with the closing of my garage door. I was pleased with his service.

It was okay. There were no additional charges. I didn't get much information. The guy didn't really do much. It seemed like the more important part was, for him to change out parts that I had in my garage. I thought he was going to do a lot more in terms of tuneup. He really didn't do much. He just inspected it and said, "You're good. You should think about changing this. We can provide this part to you for so much."

They were on time & affordable.

The service was okay. We had a car parked in the garage and he really couldn't get to it. We are very satisfied. I had no problem with him what so ever. We are really pleased with the service. He was a really nice young man.

Sean was the technician who came to service our garage door opener. He gave us two choices?.1) Replace the circuit (sensory) board, which was the problem or 2) Replace the entire opener. Since it was 13 years old and we plan to stay in this house forever, we opted to just replace the whole thing. Sean was very knowledgable and explained everything very well, even to my engineer husband who always has 25 questions to ask about everything! He completed the job in about an hour including new remote openers, an outside keypad opener and the main opener in the garage. We also had him replace the springs, as they were showing a lot of wear also. I was very impressed and glad we called My Garage Guys! I would recommend them to any of my friends!

Technician inspected the garage doors and applied lubricant where needed. Checked and adjusted door travel.

On-time; quick; much better quality than the openers that were replaced.

Technician showed up on time and gave us a tune up with a clean bill of health. Within the week following the visit, the motor started making a very loud clicking noise. I called the technician back, he came back within the following week and informed me that the motor was starting to go. I explained to him that it was only a year old. He said that a lot of smaller companies were installing a specific motor that was bad, Genie model, and that we will probably have to replace it soon. I'm sure he is correct but I just didn't feel comfortable with the assessment changing so quickly from one week to the next.

He arrived on time, and worked really hard the entire time. He explained the new controls and set up some of the features. He cleaned up the area, and I was very pleased with the final product. I've had no problems with the motor which has been a relief since I've heard others say they had some issues switching from a chain to a belt. He offered to come back if we had any problems. I will definitely use this company again.

Doug did an excellent job and I even signed up for his annual service package.

They did great work! They came right away.

I called and they said that this big deal was not what I needed, I had a bigger problem.

Doug had been out last month to service a problem with being able to open the door with my remote. He found the problem right away and only charged me for a service call, but in checking the doors found the springs to be completely worn out. He came back on the 10th of March to replace those springs and was a great help to me in fixing minor other problems, such as the covers on the lights that made it impossible for me to change the light bulbs. He took them off for me at no charge. He was great to work with and I recommend him highly. Susan Davis

All in all, the man was onsite for 10 minutes; this doesn't seem like enough time to provide quality service. Further, and after inspecting the work, I found WD40 spray running down the header wall where the door spring is located; apparently, he didn't shield the wall when he sprayed the spring. Also, when I disconnected the garage door from the door opener, the door doesn't seem to be balanced. Prior to the service, the door would roll closed from the halfway open position, and required adjustment. Now, the door actually rolls up from the halfway position, so I assume the door spring is adjusted too tight.

To bring it up to standard with what the garage doors are today, it was something like $700. Then they gave me a quote on our smaller garage door. It was probably around $400 or something. I thought it was strange. The price they quoted to fix the old one on the big door was much more than they quoted to put a new one on the little door. My main thing was the garage door. The clickers in my car was real hard and I think it needed a new battery. They don't do that. They don't change batteries. They put some oil on the springs and thought that that would help with the squeaking noise. But otherwise the garage door is working fine. For $49, they looked at it and told me what was wrong with it and gave us a price on the other door. I don't feel the price was out of line. There were no issues. This was the first time I used them. They may be a little expensive.

Everything has been working fine since. It got quieter. There was a little miscommunication initially but they resorted it out and I'd call them again. They were great. I think they were professional and addressed our needs and questions about different types. They explained what was going on with our particular system. It is a family business and they were very responsive. I will go back to them.

They identified other issues. They did fine but it was just misleading what is included in the inspection. It made me think that parts were included in the inspection. I didn't realized the inspection is just really five to ten minutes looking at it. But for the money, having them to come is was reasonable. However, wasn't very clear as to what is included from the description.

There were no additional costs or repairs needed. They gave me great advice on how to economically save on repairs. Overall, my experience with them was fine.

The garage door spring snapped late Friday night, we called Doug, he scheduled us for the following day. He gave us a time frame between 1 - 3 PM, he called around 1:10 and arrived at 1:20. Doug replaced the spring and cables in a timely manner, he was professional, he indicated that the wheels had 1/2 life left on them, so they were not replaced at this time. When we do decide to replace them, we will be calling Doug to do the work. We highly recommend him and his services.
