He told me that because of the color of the piece it would not make sense to attempt to restore it. He offered helpful advice and suggested cleaning and conditioning if we decide we want to keep it. If you'd like to see it.....send me your email and I'll forward it to you. There was NO confusion on my part. It was YOUR company that dropped the ball.
