Description of Work: We wanted to use him because of the high recommendations he received. We contacted him - he said he would come the following week to do the work in the afternoon. We asked to be given a days notice of which day he would come as we take care of elderly parents and would need to make arrangements - he agreed. The following week he called and wanted to come that afternoon. I retold him about a day's notice - he agreed again. Never heard from him again.

Description of Work: He trimmed some fruit trees and 2 other trees. Did a great job & I felt very comfortable that he knew what he was doing, especially w/the fruit trees, you can't just let anybody do those! I would hire him in the future. Brad was very acomadating!

Description of Work: I called Hawthorne Handyman Services on Wednesday and spoke to Brad Hawthorne. I told him I got his name from Angie's List, and needed some weeding and trash hauling. Brad sounded very enthusiastic, and said he would come to my house and give me an estimate on Friday, at 4pm. I gave him directions and he promised to call me when he was on his way. Friday, 4pm came and went... no Brad or phone call. It's now Sunday, and I still haven't heard from Brad. Very rude and unprofessional. I guess he doesn't need the work.
