We found Brewers Plumbing on Angie's list. Called for emergency repair Friday evening. We got a return call very promptly and scheduled a visit the next morning. Was very happy with the response and cost of repair especially considering it was an emergency call on the weekend!

Reaponded to requrest for approximate cost same day as request. Made appointment, came on time, was fast and effieient. No more leaks. clean, quiet and professional

I felt their estimate was the most honest that I received. He explained everything well about the work and he even came in under his original estimate. He was easy to work with and he even dealt with the city on the issues so I didn't have to worry with them.

They did some work for us quite a while back. They were professional, good, and did good work. I give them high ratings and will continue to use them in the future. We wouldn't haven't gotten them if their price was high.

I spent $80 on that job. They are very good. I like them. I heard from other people that they are expensive but I guess we get what we pay for. I have never had a problem with them. They are punctual, clean and decent. They speak English and that is what we like about them. They answer my questions and don?t seem to be miffed when I ask them a question. I have never had to call them back on any of the jobs, they have always done a good job on the first time. Their punctuality is very good and they even call me before leaving one job and tell me how long they would take to be here. They are very knowledgeable and experienced.

The repair man arrived on time, diagnosed the problems, showed me what was wrong, and fixed both problems. He worked quickly and neatly, and was in and out within about one hour.

I initially reported a leak in my kitchen because I could hear water under the floor boards. Naturally, I had the plumber start in the kitchen. But it turned out it was coming from the bathroom and the water was traveling under the floor and wasn't noticed under the tile floors in the bathroom until it traveled to the next room. Brewer really stuck with it, trying to find where this was coming from. And they even replaced my toilet for free when they couldn't find the leak the first time. They didn't have to do that, I'm the one who said it was in the kitchen. So it took a couple of days to find it was actually coming from the sewer line in the bathroom. Ew! They sent a camera up the sewer line to find there were tree roots clogging up the line. They had to dig under the house to replace part of the line which actually collapsed. It was a pretty big (and disgusting) job, which is why it was so expensive. I have used Brewer Plumbing for years. I switched to them from a national plumbing company when I was told by the dispatch at the national company that I "wasn't an emergency" and they couldn't get to me for 4 days. I felt being completely without water for 4 days was an emergency. So I called Brewer and they were there within 2 hours. They have always been very quick to respond, and I have lots of emergencies in this old house, so I appreciate that. They do charge for travel time to your house, which surprised me at first. But since their hourly rate is much lower than that national company I used to use, and they are very close, so its never more than 15 minutes for me, I really don't mind.

I called Brewer at 8:00A and scheduled the work for 2:00-4:00P the same day. The plumber arrived at about 3:00P, did the work listed above and left about 5:15P. He was very professional, explained everything he was doing, was careful with his tools while working and cleaned the work areas very well. I am very pleased with the quality of the work.

When I used them the first time, I was not very pleased as I thought I was overcharged. I mentioned that when I called for the above problem some time later. They came out to my house as scheduled, did the work promptly and left the area as they found it (Neat). I paid the bill which was reasonable. About an hour later, the owner called and said he was not going to charge me anything for the job as I was dissatisfied the first time. I was pleased and amazed that I finally found a tradesman who believed in good customer relations. I would recommend them to anyone who needs a good plumber.
