Description of Work: I hired Window World of Phoenix to replace two 12 year old large sliders in our bedroom. The gaskets were breaking down in the old Atrium windows that came with the home. I will use them again when I replace other windows.

Description of Work: Previously came out for estimate and measurements. Were within dollars of lowest bid, and windows made within state, but required 8 weeks for manufacture and delivery. Installation went smoothly, except installers left for 3 hours due to family problem resulting in not finishing till well into evening, but work was excellent.

+ 0 moreIt was a very positive experience. They worked well together and explained everything they were doing. They cleaned up after themselves so well. They worked quickly and quietly. They were here on time. Very friendly. Communication was excellent. I couldn't say enough about this company. The salesperson was very straight forward, there was no hustling. He told us exactly what would happen and he was right on point with everything he said.

+ -1 moreLove the product. Really like where they are made. Local, state wise. It went wonderful. Took them no time to put in windows. Great people, great product and always able to answer my questions. After they were all finished. We had one issue with one window. I made a phone call and the owner himself came out the next day and resolved our issues. The It was is a LARGE window and it just needed some adjustments. In fact that day he checked all the new windows and how they are work. Did I mention the LIFETIME warranty. Yes LIFETIME! On anything to do with the windows or even doors. GREAT COMPANY!! Rare thing to find in Phoenix.
Description of Work: We had Nine windows replaced in our 1948 built home. We had the original casement frame windows. They were bad. We did have lead based paint. They were able to "jump tract" which mean they saved the frame of the original window and used it as the frame base for the new windows. Saved hundreds of dollars, if they were to take out frame they would ruin the original stucco finish on the house. Which there is a design element at them and they were able to add more with the sash around the window. LOVE IT! Neighbors are super jealous. We had 9 argon windows installed, they are the almond color. The color is easily found at home Depot to change trim and doors of house. Noise HUGE reduction. Our house faces east and back faces west. We have FULL evening sun and I can stand at the window put my hand on it and its cold. Can not say the same for the wall it shares. We are in fact getting ready for Phase 2 with Window World. We are having a door replaced with the fiberglass low e door and we are remolding our bathroom and we are putting in another Argon gas window.

+ 0 moreThe windows were installed in a day and a half. The windows were cleaned with stickers removed and I was instructed about the operation and cleaning. The caulking was neat and the work area was left clean. These windows, with triple panes, have high quality Series 6000 frames. The cost was reasonable for this quality of windows. The windows were replaced on the West side of the house where the sun makes the rooms very hot. The windows at this time of the year are warmer than the previous double pane aluminum frame windows. When summer returns, I expect that the rooms with the triple pane windows will be much cooler and comfortable. The windows were manufactured in Yuma, Arizona and shipped to my home in Litchfield Park, Arizona. I was advised that his is an advantage because the elevation at the manufacturing and shipping route does not expose the windows to higher elevations where the gas pressure would need to be reduced in order to prevent the glass from breaking. Manufacture in Yuma also keeps the work local.
Description of Work: Replaced aluminum frame double pane windows with series 6000 vinyl triple pane windows. one double hung, 2 double sliding and 5 fixed (non opening) window units.
