Tree Pros

Description of Work: We have used Tree Pro's in the past and were happy with their work so I called them on September 26, 2014 to have two of our larger trees trimmed. I asked Brian to give us an estimate for our trees that have become overgrown because of the rain. I received the estimate and it was about $100 over the last work they did. I called Brian again to ask if there was a mistake. After not hearing from him I called again and reached him. He said, "It probably sounds bad but we have a lot of work now so we are not giving anyone good deals." He told me if we want work done to let him know and they would try to work us in. I called back and left a message that we would like him to do the work if they could. After not receiving a call back, I called again and asked him just to let me know one way or another so we could get someone else if necessary. That call was not returned either. We are finding new tree people that appreciate their regular customers.

Description of Work: They trimmed the deadwood from the top of a tall ficus. Cleaned up all debris. Done in 45 minutes.

Description of Work: We asked Tree Pros to come out and give an estimate on Palm tree trimming. We were very impressed with their arborist and salesman, Oscar. He did a good job educating us on the issues he saw, and up-sold us on additional tree work for our other trees, as well as irrigation system diagnosis and improvements. We agreed all work was probably necessary, but since we had contacted them regarding the palms, we wanted to start there, including the citrus tree work, and would contact them the following month about the irrigation system and additional work. They were certainly not the cheapest estimate we received, but we felt Oscar knew what he was doing and decided to give them a try. Oscar assured us someone would contact us ASAP to schedule the work. When we didn't hear from them, I reached out to request follow-up. Again, I heard nothing. When they finally called two weeks later, I expressed my concern, and they assured me it wouldn't happen again. Then told me the first availability they had was in another several weeks. I explained that our palms needed to be trimmed ASAP and asked if they could break up the work. They said they could and would get back to me. Again, nothing. I followed up one last time and they said they had me on the schedule for 2 weeks out, but would "keep me posted if something came up sooner". As the palms started destroying our pool filter, friends recommended another company and we scheduled them to come out within 2 days. I contacted Tree Pros to let them know I found someone to do the palm work immediately, and they said, "oh, well we found an earlier spot in the schedule for you, so you should just cancel that other company." Come on. Are you Seriously trying to run a business playing games like that? I don't have time for that kind of nonsense. That's not the kind of company I want to work with. And I won't ever use this company.

Description of Work: Trimmed large trees and cleaned up superbly.

Description of Work: Removed two trees from the backyard and mulched everything on site. One tree was medium in size and one was small. Per agreement, roots showing above ground were removed although some were missed but they could have been covered with grass and wood chips at the time. People who did the work were very professional and efficient and cleaned up well. I would call them again if needed.

Description of Work: Tree pro's sent out an arborist who gave estimate for tree care and landscaping. Did not tell the landscape company was seperate. The landscape team came out and did not place drips near trees/bushes and did not take into account the sun exposure. Supervisor never came back to check and was difficult to get someone out to look. 6 hour windows for apt. I must say the tree service much better then landscape service. They did clean up after work. Asked to talk to company president and was not put through. Very poor customer support.
