Tree Pros

They seemed very knowledgeable. They showed up on time for the appointment. They cleaned up well after themselves and did everything they said they were going to do in the appointment. I advice to book your appointment in advance since they are busy.

They were on time and did an excellent job. They cleaned up after themselves and were very professional. I have enough confidence in them that I insisted to pay in full long before the work was even scheduled. That did confuse their office staff as with each phone call they would remind that I would need to pay the balance owed at work completion. I would tell them, "I already paid in full", they would then check their computer and say, "Oh, I didn't check before calling you...", that was the one and only consistent annoyance with them (every single call!!!)

They're very professional and very clean as far as their work. They did an extremely nice job cleaning up after themselves. Once they were done, I wouldn't even know that they were there except that the trees were prettier. They're a little high compared to others but their quality of work makes up for it.

It did not go well. Apparently the estimator did not tell anyone in the office about electric service being shut off to trim the trees. Estimator also forgot to put the stump removal on the estimate. Did a verbal amount and still forgot again to tell the office. So they did not know about it. Work should have been completed one day. The crew decided they like standing around. The crew leader siad waiting on electrical to be shut off. But I had to press to get other tree done while waiting. And that tree had bigger electrical power wires but they had no problem trimming that tree. That same day they also did a queen palm and looked horrible. the crew kept saying that was the best they could do. I asked for the crew that was coming the next day to fix it. There was rescheduling multi times due to electrical company. And missed orders. The next day a different crew came and looked at the wires and said no problem they could trim the tree. Which they did. He also did the palm tree in the front with no problem and made it much better. So I don't know what the issue was the initial day with the crew. Then the stump removal people came out and chipped my curbing trim. There is a disconnect between the office and outside worker most definitely. They offered to take 10% off but did not when they automatically charged me. So still having to deal with them. But for all the hassles I would not recommend them.

They arrived between the stated appointment time. The group immediately started working. Once they were done, they cleaned the area of all palm fronds and skins. They were very friendly, professional and hard working. I love the way my palm trees look. I have used Tree Pros several times and I will continue to use them. I can't say enough good things about the business and the people that they have working for them.

They did not finish the job at my Mother's home for which they were hired. They were supposed to have also trimmed her rose bush and blow up all the leaves, debris, etc. in her yard. They did not do either of those things. They knew they were supposed to do them because it was on the estimate and I went over all of it with them beforehand. I had to leave to run an errand when they were finished trimming my Mother's trees and as soon as I left, they also left --- without completing the job. I then contacted their office and Nathan said he would get ahold of the crew and tell them to come back to complete the job. I received no apology and he never called me back to let me know if he had got in touch with the crew and if they would be returning. I had to call him back and he said he called the crew and couldn't get a hold of them. He was waiting for them to call him back. It would have been nice if he would have let me know that - instead of me having to call him again. I will not use their service again. I don't understand companies doing their jobs like this. I would get fired from my employer if I did my job this way!

This most recent service, we spent over $700 to have our palms fed and pruned. An arborist always comes out first to review the job and write up the details (which are very clear/detailed). When the crew showed up a couple of weeks later...they did not even know how many trees they were supposed to be pruning or their locations (front yard...back yard...etc.) Luckily, someone was home to direct them. I returned home that evening to find 3 of my solar landscape lights destroyed...and a huge palm branch, half cut...still dangling from the top of one of the trees. I contacted Tree Pros via their email address. No response... Their accounts team excelled at calling/emailing me for payment. I paid the $700+ invoice and again asked for a manager to follow up regarding the job. I sent a couple more follow up emails and still no response 2 weeks later. We will be using another vendor moving forward.

They do an excellent job for me. I've used them several times over the last three years and I've always been satisfied. In fact after looking at the Mesquite for a day I decided that it needed to be trimmed back further away from the roof. They were understanding when I called them and quickly sent someone out the next week to take care of it. I was very happy and I would recommend them.

3 weeks ago we requested an estimate from Tree Pros to trim 2 mexican fan palms, Tree Pros came out within 2 days and provided an estimate of $40 per tree, but required a minimum of $150 worth of service, tried selling additional deep root fertiliation and other unneeded services, and could get us on the schedule to complete the service within the next 7 days; at which point, we said that we were not interested in anything more than the 2 mexican palms because we had used their service the previous year for a complete landscape service (trimming all trees, bushes, queen palms, mexican palms, deep root fertilization, and queen palm crown fertilization, costing over $700 and fertilization killed 3 of our trees and 2 queen palms - see separate review for those details); however, we really needed the mexican fan palms trimmed as soon as possible, so we called back 4 days later and told them that we wanted to schedule trimming service for the 2 palms and a ficus tree in order to meet the minimum of $150 and that we wanted to have it done as soon as possible; the person that took our message said that she would have our rep call us back as soon as possible. The estimator never called back, we called 3 more times and left messages and still no response. Finally, the office called us almost 3 weeks later and said they could get us on their schedule in another 2 weeks. Ridiculous - we did not have good results when we used them previously for the fertilization, but thought we would give them one more try just for trimming and that turned out to be a bad idea. We will not use them again and we definitely would not recommend them to others.

over-priced compared to competitors, and quality of work was horrible - when trimming the palms, they let the fronds fall and broke several landscaping decorations and equipment; when we called to file a complaint, we got no response and no reimbursement nor apology; they did not clean up after themselves and did not show up on time; would not hire again and definitely would not recommend to others;

The crew members were polite and mindful of their task. The company sent the appropriate equipment and number of trucks to cut, shred and haul away the tree components. Overall, a good experience with Tree Pros. There was some miscommunication about the oleander bushes but they sent a crew out in a couple of days to finish up the job.

First of all the estimate was a fraction of the estimate I received from the "A" rated provider I called. Each estimate included an amount to bolt and cable our beautiful palo brea tree that was splitting the other provider was not as confident as how to provide support to the tree. Brian from Tree Pros(certified arborist) immediately had a plan and did the work himself with the bolt and cable. The rest of the trees were trimmed by the regular crew. The trees were trimmed better than they have ever been trimmed. They look terrific. The crew was polite and cleaned up well. Brian seemed very knowledgeable and eager to help with any tree issue. We will use them again and we would recommend them to others.

Sales guy was excellent and had the best prices. The crew did a great job.

It went great. They cleaned up well and did everything they said they would. I am definitely going to use them again.

Selected Living Tree Service, Inc. instead but it was a tough choice. Professionalism and estimates were similar. Slight advantage to Living Tree Service, Inc. I liked the fact that the owner of Living Tree Service managed each job on site. By the way Living Tree Service did a great job!

They were supposed to do trimming of the trees and cleaning up the yard in the front and back. They did not do a very good job and kept trying to get us to pay extra for the things we already agreed upon. The guy that did the fertilization said if I gave him some extra cash personally he would do some of the other things.

First tree died but they immediately took responsibility for it and planted a second tree. That tree is thriving

They have worked for us in the past and have done a good job. This time their price was about $800 higher than than other competitors. They tend to call pretty often to look for more work

They arrived right on time and worked until everything was done. I had previously hired them to trim my palms but never for yard clean up. I was really impressed by how beautiful it was when they were done. They exceeded my expectations.

We received our annual reminder call from Tree Pros and made an appointment. Tree Pro's arrived as scheduled and on time. They do a wonderful job of trimming our Elms, without overdoing. The clean up is always meticulous. Tree Pro's has been caring for our Chinese Elms since we planted them 6 years ago. The trees are beautiful and healthy.

They were willing to come back and re-grind down the stump without extra charge because they didn't grind down enough the first time.

We tried to contact them and indicate that we had to cut the tree off the fence with no return call. The only call that we received was from the scheduler who wanted to set us up for 4 days after the sales rep said they would be able to do the work. We cancelled. Additionally, the price given was higher that a few other that did contact us, but we were ok with that because the work was supposed to be performed right away.

The crew showed up on time on the expected day, however, but not with the tools they needed to complete the job and the expectations of the work they were to perform. They did not have the stakes with them to stake up the tree and they did not have the weed puller that was necessary as part of the yard clean up. After reaching Joe B., the salesman, we finally came to an agreement on the meaning of "General Yard cleanup and bush trimming" and that part of that included pulling the weeds and trimming the bushes (mind you we were paying 300 for this!) and cleaning up ALL debris- leaves, etc. The crew trimmed the trees and at first glance it looked good and I was actually pleased with the trimming. The yard cleanup was another story. I had to tell them 3 times to blow the leaves, etc. that were still in the yard. The lead man kept telling me that the leaves I was still seeing were falling from the trees and he couldn't get them all. Ridiculous....they left tons of leaves under the only bushes they trimmed (didn't notice this until a day later while checking sprinklers). I kept pointing out places that they missed on trimming on the bushes. Finally tiring of the process I just said forget it - I will do it myself. Wrong thing to do I know but family was here on vacation and I was expecting to spend time with them not babysitting a work crew on a job they should know how to do properly and that was obviously in a hurry to get out of work. The crew left unfinished and said someone would have to come back for the rest of the work. A couple of hours later the same crew showed back up in the back yard to stake the tree and pull the weeds (which they ended up missing many of them!). We left expecting things to be perfect as we were promised. The office called me for payment and I paid the full amount telling her how unhappy I was. She did offer to have a foreman call me but I truly wanted to be done dealing with these people. Chalk it up to a learning experience and have fun with my family. Two days later the tree they staked fell over and is now laying in the yard. My husband who was not home at the time also pointed out a bunch of scars on one of the trees from a chain saw they used during trimming and also many dead branches in the other tree they trimmed. working on sprinklers I saw many weeds that were dead and still lying in the rocks and pieces of the tree that they trimmed were laying in the yard. They totally rushed the job and it was much worse than first glance. I have now called 3 times to have someone come out and look at the work they performed and to tell me that this is what their company is proud of. All I ever reach is the poor office people who have no control over angry customers. I did read the reviews and did see a few people that were not happy, I expect this when you work with public. I understand that things happen but I do expect that a reputable company would at least try to make it better. Today I called again with promises that someone will get back to me. I'm not holding my breath. Do not hire this company unless you find you need a challenge. We are out a lot of money for a little work! Oh and if you do and you try to use a coupon from Angies list be sure you tell them this BEFORE they write up your quote because apparently they need to consider that when they quote you their price...probably to add it back in! We didn't even get to use it.

I have used Tree Pro's for years. They have planted my back trees and have done regular checks on them. They trimmed my overgrown front tree to be a beautiful work of art. I have had neighbors ask me who I use and I always refer them. They are the most affordable I have found and do amazing work.

A certified arborist came the next day after we contacted Tree Pros and gave us a free estimate for the job. He also wrote instructions for the crew that came several days later. The three man crew arrived promptly as scheduled with a chipping machine and a foreman was friendly and bilingual. They did an excellent job of trimming the trees and were immaculate in cleaning up. I would highly recommend this company.
