Roger was punctual and he did the work exactly as agreed. He also finished before the time that he had estimated so we ended up paying less than we planned which was a pleasant bonus. We would recommend Roger to anyone. He is not just knowledgeable but truly honest, which is important to us.

Resolved the immediate issue and provided recommendations on improvements. Roger was very knowledgeable and clearly explained the issue and options for improvements and changes to other less critical issues and offered his services as schedules can accommodate.

Our new cabinet set up provided limited working space and Roger was able to get everything set up, wires hidden in the wall, and working great. Working with the Theater Doctor was great. Our broken theater projector was so old, it was cheaper to replace with a new and improved projector. The Theater Doctor answered all of our questions and was great to work with!

Roger did a very nice job but became a bit pressed for time toward the end. I wish he could have stayed an additional 20-30 mins to recalibrate the various sound zones but overall a good experience.

Roger was very responsive even at the first call. He gave me some coaching on what to buy and how his process worked. Day of install he right on time with a call ahead that he was on his way. The work exceeded my expectations in that at Roger's suggestion we ran the wiring to the other side of the wall where we could conceal the cable box under the bed. The result looks fantastic. TT is straight and well positioned, the soundbar is clean a neat plus there are no wires at all showing on the wall with the TV. In cleaning up Roger was particular to get everything vacuumed and cleaned up as it was. When I asked for the total ROger automatically deducted $25 off as a "first time Angie's list customer". After Roger left, a few hours later I had a quick question he was happy to take my call and suggest a remedy to the programming issue.

He's a great problem solver. If there is anything associated with the installation with any equipment and there is some difficulty he is very good at problem solving and getting the job done.

I was in the market for an installer to mount a 55 inch flat screen tv on my living room wall. I went on Angie's list and found a few potential installers. I called Roger from the Home Theater Doctor LLC and left a voicemail message. Within 15 mins of leaving a message, Roger called me back to ask what type of work I wanted done. I told him what I wanted and he said that he would be able to come out the following day and install the bracket and tv. We set up an appointment time and he was on time (even early) the next day. Upon arrival, Roger was very friendly. I showed him where the tv was to be mounted. He went out to his vehicle, got his tools, and got right to work. It took him about 30 - 45 mins for the install and afterwards, the job looked very clean and professional. The tv was mounted at the perfect height and was also perfectly level. I would definitely use The Home Theater Doctor again if I choose to do any more audio/video setups.

Everything was done with care and precision exactly as I wanted. Roger spent his own personal time finding speaker brackets that would work for me. I then ordered them and confirmed their arrival with Roger and then he made appointment to complete the job and I am very pleased with the results.

It went great for me but I think it was more than what roger had hope for. There were circumstances beyond his control that caused him to be here longer than expected but he remained the consummate professional and did a great job and what I felt was a great price. Just the amount of time he spent should have totaled more than the actual charge in my opinion . Once the installation was complete he programmed everything to make sure it worked and after trouble shooting a few things the system is up and working great, I will be calling him back for my next project which is flush mounted speakers in the ceiling for a music system. Roger was very responsive to all of my questions prior to service and very competitively priced for the services and install he provided (we had 3 separate quotes for the work and his was very competitive). He was always on time and very professional. Even when unexpected road blocks occurred he was able to adapt quickly and find solutions. In the end he had installed new speakers throughout the house, created multiple sound zones, connected all devices (receiver, blu-ray, DirecTV DVR, wireless connection, Apple Airplay) and most importantly taught me how to work it all! He made sure that I fully understood all functions and operation of the universal remote prior to leaving. He also offered to be available for any questions that may arise later. Great work!!

Called Roger and two days later he was at our house working on the equipment. He was very professional and explained how to work the remote after he was finished. He made a call when he had to be a little late to let me know when to expect him. He did not even charge us travel time, which a lot of service people do. We are pretty far out west. I thought that was very fair. We will be calling him for later installations.

I had service performed by the Home Theater Doctor. It was amazing. Licensed Low Voltage Contractor, Professional, on time (to the minute), knowledgeable and extremely thorough. He took amazing care to make sure my television mount was absolutely level. His scope of work wasn't even limited to just my home theater .... an example: I just moved into my new house, I called Cox Cable to "Register" my HD Cable box and Internet Router. The service had been "Turned On" several days ago. Cox told me I wasn't getting a signal. Cox then asked if the house has ever had Satellite service before; I answered "Yes" and they immediately said that they'd have to send a tech out to diagnose the wiring, but that would take a couple of days, and ultimately cost me $39.99 (trip charge). Roger objected to this outcome stating "No reason you should wait a couple days, you've just go to test the line and see which wire the signal is on, it'll take like 2 minutes. He walked outside, found three separate coax lines -- tested all of them and found the line with a signal .... connected that together and then BAM my cable and internet spring to life! Simply outstanding. The amount of work he did, the quality of work he performed and the extremely valuable education he provided about what he was doing and why he was doing it -- I would have expected a price 2 or 3 times what he charged. In reflection, I would have gladly paid it too! Working with Roger, the "Home Theater Doctor" is beyond the smartest choice you can make! Simply outstanding! I already have him schedule to return to perform more work as I get those components unpacked and ready for install.

The DirecTV people were out after Roger finished and he corrected some problems with their equipment they did not know how to correct.

My husband purchased a wireless Sonos Play 5 System for our home and tried to set it up with our existing sound system so we could stream music throughout the house. After a couple of days working on it and reading from the Sonos web page to no avail, we decided to call Roger, who is the owner of The Home Theater Doctor. Roger arrived on time and with little fanfare, set to work and in a very short time had the Sonos system working and integrated with our existing sound system He also programmed a new universal remote, to make it easier to deal with one remote for our cable, tuner,dvd player and streaming of music and movies. We have also asked Roger to price a security system with cameras to install in the future. Roger is professional, proficient, courteous and we highly recommend his services!

Excellent. Roger is a real professional; not one of these fly-by-night kinda people. He arrived on time for both appointments. He did a beautiful job on both tv's and I was really impressed that the mess of wires we had before is now gone. He dusted off our electronics before reconnecting. He is extremely knowledgeable in his field of expertise. We love our new universal remote. It is so easy to use. Did I mention his prices are substantially lower than other companies that perform the same exact services? We definitely plan to use Roger again in the future to install some surround speakers. Very, very happy with him.

This is the kind of story that tells you why Angie's List is so terrific. I had called the company I had used in the past on Thursday and explained that I needed to have our new system set up for the week-end as we had guests coming in from out of town.Friday morning my guy canceled and so I went to Angie's List. I got hold of Roger, explained the urgency and he said he would try for Friday afternoon. He showed up at 2:00 p.m. stayed 3 hours, hooked up everything after he tore out all the old stuff. He was absolutely fantastic. I will never use anyone else in the future. Roger is my guy.

Roger did a wonderful job and was very patient. The TV was a surprise gift for my husband and he was supposed to be gone when Roger arrived. However, my husband was still at the house when Roger called to say that he was here. I asked Roger to drive down the street and wait just a few minutes for my husband to leave, which he did without complaint. Also, Roger was very patient with me. He asked me where I wanted the TV and I had him hold a piece of cardboard in several locations while I selected the perfect location for viewing the TV from the couch and several different chairs. His price was reasonable and he didn't change it even when he discovered that the TV mount that I had bought was a time-consuming mount to install. Roger did a very nice job including drilling some holes in the wall and putting in cable and electrical outlets so that all of the cords were hidden in the wall. He was also very neat, and used the unfolded TV mount box to catch the drywall plaster powder that resulted from drilling into the wall to mount the TV and install the outlets. I hadn't thought to buy and HDMI cable and he had one on his truck. He was out of the white outlet box covers, but came back without charge and installed them when they came in. I was very happy with Roger's service and would use him again.

He does excellent work and not very expensive. It was a lot less than I expected. he had to come back because I screwed something up then he spent about an hour with me training me on how to use the system. For a couple of hours or more he charged me $100 for the second trip. He's been to college. he knew what he was doing and he worked fast. he knew I didn't have a lot of money so he didn't try to talk me into getting a universal remote and all that crap like most of them did. I told him I just wanted it to work, I don't care about efficiency. He did exactly what I asked him to.
