Description of Work: Thank you for this service. I needed to have it finished at a certain date and they did it. They were neat and did not bother anyine and were very nice people.

Description of Work: We choose Spencer for Hire because of the selling point of better quality underlayment. They wanted a $900.00 deposit on 2/5/15. Repairs were not done until end of 4/17/15. They removed the concrete tiles (for return to roof). According to the owner they were going to redo the entire upper west section. This was to include new felt; 40 lb., with underlayment being a half overlay. They did not peel the old felt off which owner said they would do. I am not sure that Spencer for Hire did what they said and they sure hauled out a lot of material that they brought to do the job. The owner did not do job a hired worker did the work. Not completely happy with the job. I should have stayed up there to watch and make sure they did what the owner said. We understood that the section of roof was going to be redone. That way we could work on getting the other sections done in stages. Disappointed.

Description of Work: This local roofer came out and accessed the job, then sent his crew to cleaned the gutters, replaced a couple of tiles. secured moving tiles. Nice guy, hardworking crew. |

Description of Work: Very professional. Found issues I never knew about. Only problem is I was told I would receive an email about services and prices to fix problems, but I haven't heard back.

Description of Work: We chose Spencer based on Angie's list and their proximity to our house. Their phone message was honest, warning us that callbacks would take time because they are very busy. The message invited us to call back if we had left an earlier message. I did call back after two work days had passed, and the owner promptly called. I explained the problem, he asked for a few details, and he suggested that we had a problem with the AC condensation pan overflowing. I appreciated his patience on the phone, and we have followed up with our AC person. Spencer's wait time for estimates and repairs are quite long. It appears to be a small company that has taken on a lot of work (generated by recent storms) and is at capacity for the time being. I would try them again in the future, but I would also have a backup plan.

Description of Work: Have been waiting for almost two weeks for them to return our message to set up an appointment for an estimate. Would have liked to at least have heard from them to know how long we would need to wait for an appointment.

Description of Work: They fixed my one broken ceramic tile without even charging me extra as they could have per the contract. They also didn't charge me the out-of-area fee that they could have since I live in Chandler, not Awatukee. Nice guys, exactly on time, stayed in contact with me. My neighbors said the estimate he gave me for a new roof sounds right. When we find the money, they'll most likely be the roofers we choose.

Description of Work: I thought I needed to purchase this in order to get them to inspect my home for a specific repair but I didn't need it for that. At first they said they would credit it back to me ... But I guess that was only if I used them. I've asked for the refund, since I purchased it in error .... But have not received it back. Because of this , I would never consider using them in the future.

Description of Work: They nailed down loose tiles, any loose flasings, |and gave me estimate for entire roof redo. They were efficient and friendly.

Description of Work: They fixed some tiles that had slipped, glued down some tiles that we're lifting and re- glued some flashing in different areas on the roof, cleared away tree branches and from the roof. It was maintenance that needed to be done to prevent further problems which was what the package was for. Very good overall.
