I would never use Spencer 4 Hire Roofing LLC. I didn't like their inability to fix roofs, they're just out to sell a new roof.

Brandon was fair and honest.

They were cool. The detail they gave me on what needed to be done on the roof was outstanding. They are a no slouch company at all. When I call them, they were here in two days. They didn't just send a scrub, it was the guy who owned the company that came. They asked me when it was convenient for me. They didn't just come and say "here is when we can be there." It was cool. He was early. He was up on my roof taking photographs and then coming down and going "this is your problem."

Spencer 4 Hire took a look and told us the shingle quality was fine, we just needed longer nails. They gave me an estimate, along with looking into additional work on our porch. The original roofers had not put up drip edge, and Spencer 4 Hire put the edge on. I got it painted like the trim so that it all looks the same. They did a good job recommending preventative measures so that I wouldn?t run into trouble in the future with my roof. It was a spotless clean up, with no nails or staples left behind. When I paid for the second half of the job, I was unable to get a receipt. That has been the only hang up. They have been very pleasant working on getting my receipt, it is still coming in the mail. Everything else has been excellent.

They were very prompt. They made an appointment at a specific time and they were here exactly on time.

Spencer 4 Hire Roofing gave me a good estimate, but I haven't decided who I am going to use for that job. It took him a little longer to complete the estimate than he said it would take him. Otherwise, he did a very good quote. He was very professional.

By the time I called Spencer For Hire, I was in crisis mode. It seemed as though everything in this house was going at once. I was juggling several serious home repair issues, when during some of the worst rainfall in the Phoenix area the roof leaked and leaked badly. Roofers were scarce, if they returned my calls at all, and charging an arm and a leg. When I called Spencer For Hire, Brandon came out immediately, gave me a comprehensive quote, offering me several options in getting my roof repaired. My world was falling apart around me and I was so grateful for Brandon's patience and his calm, steady demeanor. Honestly, it was a relief to find a contractor with the desired expertise and experience, without a lot of unwelcome drama and hidden costs. I am so satisfied with the work and the workers' performance and professionalism, that I am already looking forward to doing the other half of my roof this fall.

He was very rude while he was here at our home. I had answered a phone call while he was here and he got really upset. Went around to the front door of my house and started ringing the doorbell like a crazy person. Also, his estimate was about $3000-4000 higher than any other estimate we had received. We obviously chose not to go.

We contracted with Spencer 4 Hire, to give us a new roof. The work was top notch quality, the staff both office and on site were great and we wouldn't hesitate to use them if the need were to arise in the future.

We called this company for an estimate on a roof repair (monsoon storms). The individual we contacted came approximately 4 or 5 days later. He provided the estimate but it was not for the repair we wanted. He insisted we needed a whole new roof. He was on time and kept his approintment, unlike some other roofers in the area.

Sometime in August a gust of wind tore off areas of my rear roof leaving bare wood. The roof was old and needed to be replaced. Brandon came out the next day to look at the job and give me an estimate. Brandon is very knowledgeable about his products and roofing in general. He gave me an estimate for just the repair and another estimate to do the whole roof. I really needed to do the whole roof but I opted to just do the repair. I chose a grey color shingle. Brandon and his partner, Nathan advised me to select a lighter color because it reduces the electric bill and lasts longer than a darker color. They are completely right but I am from the midwest where I am used to grey roofs. So I chose grey. Now that they are done, I love it. I wish I could afford to have my whole roof done. When the time comes I will call them. The crew was over-scheduled during monsoon season (all roofers are booked August-September). They couldn't get to my job before October so the crew came after hours and put down a heavy plastic and wood seal over the bald areas to protect the roof. The seal held fine. When the day came to do the roof it only took two days. The crew cleaned up after themselves. They worked quickly and independently without needing anything from me. Brandon and Nathan are very professional, honest, trustworthy and they do a good job. Brandon has been repairing my roof for many years. I didn't bother getting an estimate from any other company because I know his prices are very reasonable and he does a good job.

Nathan responded promptly to my request for a roof inspection on a home I had made an offer on. He was able to squeeze me in on the next business day. He showed up on time and did a very thorough job. Afterward, he spent time with me going over what he found - including areas of concern. His explanation was straight-forward - he took the time to make sure I understood him. He also provided me with a detailed inspection report, which I shared with the seller. I hope my new roof doesn't leak, but if it does I will call Spencer 4 Hire again.

I asked for an estimate on just a repair, but they gave an estimate for a whole new portion of the roof. They seemed very knowledgeable, but I didn't really need to have a new portion of the roof done.

It was a waste of time and I felt like it was false advertising.

We interviewed several companies and Brandon earned our trust by being on time and honest with his pricing and what need to be fixed. When we called him up to set an appointment we were shocked at how fast he came to and got the job done before the weather turned bad. Everyone was very courteous and they went above and beyond to cleanup after themselves. If anyone needs a roof done or repaired I would highly recommend this company.

They did a very good job and they fixed the problem immediately. I called them and they were at my house in like 45 minutes. They provided fast service and I will definitely recommend them. The price was great too.
