Have our roof replacement scheduled to start March 16th so will let Angie know what kind of a job they did.

Inspector showed up on time and was very thorough. He was very personable and was able to explain his findings during the inspection. Resulting report was very timely and was well crafted. I was impressed with Spencer 4 Hire roofing and would recommend them.

It went well. It did take them about 3 weeks to schedule. They had to replace half my roof. They gave me a credit of 10% off for being an Angie’s List member. They did regular maintenance for the other half of the roof that wasn’t replaced. The workmanship was excellent and they cleaned up perfectly!

Very well. They did a really good job. They were timely, they were professional and they were cost effective. They gave a good price.

Quality was excellent and roofing team extremely hard working

They came when they said they would, and they did the work quickly and professionally. In the process, a small flower pot was broken. They immediately took the price of the pot off the price of the roof work.

No maintenance was performed at this time.

We first purchased a $99 roof maintenance. The Spencer's are very responsive electronically, answering e-mail or on Angie's List quickly, and arrived on time to the appointment at our home. In evaluating our roof, 14 broken shingles were found (we have concrete tile shingles). We were presented 3 options: just having the standard maintenance and replacing broken tiles ($10 each, extra), having the roofing above our garage replace (there was some evidence of a leak in the past, though it did not leak in the recent rain), and the full roof. It was not considered necessary to replace the entire roof, but it was recommended have the part over our garage done. They will do the regular maintenance at the same time, and deduct the $99 from the total cost. While the replacement has not been completed yet (it's scheduled for February; they offered to do it sooner but it did not fit my schedule), I anticipate the work will be done well. I will update my review at that time.

They were outstanding. They were on time every day. Always professional. When rain was forcasted to come through our area, the crew came out and covered the areas in the middle of the night to make sure nothing was ruined. Wonderful experience.

Skilled, professional, focused.

They came at the scheduled time and performed the services I had bought through a Big Deal on Angie's List. In addition they made some minor repairs at no extra cost that were not part of the deal, which was greatly appreciated. He also explained to me what the condition of my roof was, what repairs will eventually need to be made, and how much longer I can wait before these need to be addressed. I was very happy overall with the entire transaction.

Spencer4Hire was one of four companies we contacted for bids. They showed on time to provide an estimate. That was not true of all of the others. They came again to meet with the insurance representative. They helped work out details related to hail damage. They did the repairs on schedule and did an excellent job of creating custom scuppers for our Santa Fe style home. They were able to do everything we needed to have done while others could not provide all of the services we needed. We were impressed with their professionalism and quality of work.

Workers arrived on time and completed the job in two days, less time than estimated. They were efficient, courteous, communicative and cleaned up after themselves, which we very much appreciated, because a roofing job creates debris.

We felt very comfortable with Brandon's professionalism , extensive knowledge , and experience. However, do to the heavy rains and the backup of work,we could not schedule Brandon until January. We decided to go with another roofer who could complete the work within 30 days. Brandon followed up our visit with a phone call to see if he could rearrange his schedule but we had already signed another contract. I gladly would recommend Brandon for anyone looking for quality, professional roofing.

..I called Brandon on a Saturday. He not only took my call but took down the description of the damage and said he would have someone call at the beginning of the week to schedule a service call. He informed me of basic charges and did say the work might not be done for a couple of weeks due the severe storms in the area and they were absolutely swamped. I told him my husband and I would get back to him when we had made a decision to go ahead with the work. So, I called back a few days later with the go ahead. Brandon called the next morning to say that he was going to be out in our area that same day and would just swing by and take a look at the damage later on in the day. I informed him that we would not be home so just go ahead. When we got home, he had already been here, made the repairs, and left a folder in our door with a detailed report. He said that the repairs were minor and so he just went ahead and took care of it. He also called later on with a substantial reduction in the charges from the original quote because the repairs were so minor. Awesome !!!!! We were very impressed with Brandon and his prompt response, work, and honesty. We have already recommended this company to others. Many thanks.

I wrote a previous review that stated the work had not been completed and I've since found out that it was indeed completed as promised. An incorrect phone number caused a delay in the communication to me. Thanks Brandon for following up!

Brandon was very professional and punctual. He provided a one hour time window which was great for my schedule and then kept to it. I would recommend him and certainly call him again.

It did not go well. We had a major storm that weekend and come the morning we had a big leak in the garage. I called and left a voicemail asking for Brandon to return my call to let me know if he would be able to provide service the same day. About 30 minutes later I called him again to leave him a message and let him know that I just realized his voicemail stated he would not be able to return calls until Tuesday because he was out of town for the labor day holiday and I wanted him to call me when he had a chance. Well, Brandon answered my call. After explaining to him the leak and visible damage he stated that he would not be able to get anyone out to our home today. He sounded very disturbed, when I asked what I should do if anything to stop the leaked he said he did not like to send his men out in these storms because it was not safe. I said o.k. He then said he could send them over to tarp the roof but that would cost me $1,000.00. (this really sounded like he made this up so I wouldn't ask him to do it) He said the first available would be this coming Friday 9/5 between 12-1pm. I told that would be fine. He never showed up.

Very well. Brandon and his assistant were prompt, seemed to be thorough in their inspection, and were both professional and pleasant to interact with. I would be happy to call upon them if I encounter roof issues in the future as my roof ages.

I wasn't really pleased with them. He was late to show up. I did not hire them. He was friendly and he was fairly professional. I just didn't think that what he was offering was a fair price.

Promptly contacted me. Took photos of issues. Thoroughly inspected. Repaired. Tossed down the partial roll of tar paper left behind by the a/c installer. Blew out the dust around and beneath the a/c. Went above and beyond the advertised service for no additional cost. Most importantly, Spencer left me with piece of mind. I know what needs to be done. Who will do it. What it will cost. Now we have to decide on the color of the new roof...

The company was punctual and went right to work. Found that the tile roof was in good shape but the patio roof was not. Brandon took the time to walk me through the areas of concern. Normally they don't trim the tree branches from the roof but did it for me because they could be damaging the roof. I appreciated the time he took to walk through every aspect and to advise me what to look for so that any problems could be spotted sooner rather than later.

Responding to my concern regarding a possible roof leak, Brandon and Nathan came to my home and did a thorough inspection of my roof. Their inspection included photos of some serious issues. He then spent time explaining the problems and provided me a very detailed estimate for repairing the roof. He was very professional and knowledgeable of what needs to be done to correct the situation. I would definitely recommend this company to others.

The roof is in good condition, generally. The loose or broken tiles were noted and replaced. Everything was done promptly. Nice people, excellent skills. We will contact them for future roof repair. This company made the entire experience very pleasant.
