Description of Work: BEWARE!! This is usually the best deal on here, but you truly get what you pay for. During my move, a wood bed frame and nightstand were damaged. Owner sent out his father who he claimed was a furniture restorer, but wasn't, and actually made the damage look worse. Owner refused to send out a true furniture restorer or compensate me for the damage.

Description of Work: Prompt, polite and professional. Good attitudes, worked hard and fast. Knew what they were doing, and worked with us on the time. Very impressive, best moving experience we've ever had, from the help desk to the movers. I don't often take the time to review, but they were great.

Description of Work: The 3M team of Matt, Marvin, and Mike did a fantastic job of unpacking our storage unit and carefully repacking it into two units closer to our house. Matt as the Team Leader was excellent in making all the stuff fit, with two capable crew members working hard. All were cordial to my wife and I and hustled taking no breaks.

Description of Work: The first few hours went well. We did add more scope and company was aware of that before the move happened. Problems were I paid an extra $150 to have our piano moved and it took the movers minimum 3 hours between the three guys to figure out how to take apart and then set back up. they were watching YouTube instructions on "how to" and the floor in the new house was damaged when they tried to set it back up. We had beveled glass tables that inset into stone and travertine that the glass at the corners were chipped. Not sure if this happened because the glass wasn't taken out of the table when they moved them. Bottom line: nice tables now look very used. It also took us several weeks to get through all of the boxes of stuff that was moved but now that's happened and some stuff was never found. I did have boxes that I had marked specifically to specific rooms; gave them floor plans to there was no question about where stuff should be dropped, and all was disregarded. Movers ended up stacking all boxes in the kitchenette area, which made unpacking a nightmare. I did call the owner and he did have another crew come out and move the boxes that I personally couldn't physically move a few days later.

Description of Work: They did a magnificent job. It took 6 hours instead of 3, but we did have a lot of things to move. The truck was full. They moved everything with great care.

Description of Work: Good communications. Some rescheduling necessary on their part but we were flexible. They went beyond just moving items -- some installations. We are happy. | |Even though the deal had been purchased on angle's list, newer deals came up much less expensive for the same service.
