Beware of hidden fees with these guys. And I mean large fees.

I was still packing some things, all over the place with anxiety and was having a friend help me. They packed SOME things, before I knew it I was being told by my friend they were loaded and ready. I didn't grab my wallet or anything I just left. When we got back I noticed all the stuff they didn't take: Vacuum, broom, 2 standing lights, 2 fans, sealed totes and boxes, a laundry basket with clean clothes in a tied bag in it (acceptable according to their rules), a long red tool box, 2-3 suitcases, folding chairs- I could go on. The 'main guy' knew what he was doing but his sidekick looked 18yo and couldn't punch his way out of a paper bag. They might have only used 3 hours going 1 mile to where I moved to but my friend and I ended up making 2 more trips: spending exactly 7 HOURS to finish the things they forgot/couldn't do. Having the disabilities I have- it almost killed me, my friend had to force me to take breaks when I was gasping for air. I thought they'd come in, get my stuff moved, we'd come back to finish a few things I didn't have time to finish in time but NOPE. They took the heavy and easily noticeable stuff while we did all the rest. They even managed to pile on an empty shoe box!!! Gentle hands more like Lazy hands. At least I have a mission in life going forward: Making sure that no one who is disabled or senior has to go through what I had to go through ever again. Being lied to and shelling out money it took you 6-9 months to save so some internet baiters can take you for a ride that cost you your health, time, peace and well being. Look elsewhere - I wish I would've.

It went so smoothly very professional

The packing of items from the home I was moving from went very smoothly. The movers (5) were courteous and kept masks on the entire time as requested. However, moving into the new home was very frustrating. I had the movers place all of our items in the living area as we were having carpet replaced the next day. After the movers left is when I noticed a lot of damage to my property. During the move I witnessed one of the movers drop multiple boxes off of a dolly. Luckily nothing in the boxes were broken or damaged. The first thing I noticed, was the entry (front) door. There were multiple dings and damage done to the painted frame. The next thing I found was damage to the stucco and an indention was made on the home's exterior. Also, once I started moving the furniture into the rooms from the living area, I found multiple dents and cuts to the interior walls and multiple scratches on interior paint. The movers also lost hardware to various items of furniture. I contacted Soft Touch and left a message. I did not receive a phone call back, so I sent an email. I received a response via email and was told they agreed to fix the exterior walls and door frame. I called and left a message and Lisa called me back. She stated they agreed to repair the damages on the exterior of the home. I explained that there was damage also to the interior of the home and she stated that if I moved any of the furniture that I was now obligated to repair the interior walls. I advised her that it would be impossible for me to know that there was any damage to the interior of the home without moving furniture. She stated that I was still liable for those damages. We agreed that at least the outside needed to be repaired and on July 29th, Lisa sent me an email confirming that they would repair my property damage to the exterior of the home. As of 8/10/20 I have not heard back from Lisa or anyone from Soft Touch movers. I left a message on August 7th and another message today August 10th. I would not recommend this company at all nor would I ever use them again. The charges were not what I was told on the day of the move but about $200 more, and the customer service has not been up to par. I have photos of the damage if needed or wanted.

They were accommodating with scheduling and showed up on-time. Excellent all the way around.

Oh my goodness! These guys were amazing! They were very professional and super friendly. Took care in moving and wrapping all all furniture and delicate curio cabinets! I would definitely recommend them again!!

Took great detail in protecting all furniture by using blankets and plastic wrap. Completed the entire move in about 4 hours including travel time between homes. HIghly recommended!

Looking for an AZ mover to move locally, approximately 34 miles. Soft Touch came up in a local blog I follow with decent ratings. We gave them a call to arrange a meeting to do a cost estimate. Everything was good: set up a meeting with Scott and Lisa (owners) on a Tuesday. Very nice personable couple, they arrived on time, went through the entire house of what to be moved, spent 2 hours. All the pieces that they would be moving were large and needed the tradition wrapping and tapping and in addition, accounting for a few boxes in each room for the estimate. We stressed the urgency of timing, we would like to move in the later half of the following week, in which Lisa stated that the end of the following week would work perfectly. We received the estimate that evening, the cost was reasonable and we were already set to make the deal. We called Wednesday morning to set the date. paperwork and any deposit that was needed and were told by Rachel they were on vacation and wouldn’t be back till Friday. We requested a phone call ASAP to let them know they got the job and to set everything in stone. NO phone call response back Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday, NOTHING. Really? You are a small business owner with very non professional business practice (you seemingly can afford) Lisa and Scott should have had the courtesy to tell us they were leaving for vacation, knowing our urgency to set up the move. I would also think that you would of wanted the job especially when we were fine with the estimate. Finally, no phone call back, you wasted 2 hours of our time, quite frankly. If you didn’t want the job you should have been more professional and bowed out from the beginning. There is certainly no “Head Honcho” title in this moving company.

It went quite well and was well worth the money spent. They were extremely professional and everything was great. My only concern was I had a large item that they were not able to move and when they called the office, they told me they needed a specialized truck to do this and it was another $150 on a different day. It was under their large item weight but because it was oversized, I didnt even think of mentioning and it could have been moved because the previous movers that I used had the same type of truck with one less person and was able to load it. However, I would still hire this company again because they did an awesome job. I am still waiting for the pictures that the Alex mentioned to me that he would send because of damaged from the previous moving company.

I can’t speak highly enough of the teams at Soft Touch Movers who worked on our move! I have no complaints whatsoever. They showed up on time, handled everything with care, and went out of their way to make this as painless a move for us as possible. Everyone was friendly and were complete gentleman. They were willing to help with everything I requested and even volunteered to help on things I would have thought were outside their responsibility. I would not hesitate to call them again for a future move!

I got 2 movers for 3 hours, and moved a two bedroom condo into a four bedroom house with two stories. When they arrived they got right to work and they were fast. They got everything loaded into the truck in about an hour. Took about 20 minutes to get to the new place and were completely unloaded in an hour. They were amazing! They brought three dressers, two bookshelves, a lounge chair, multiple desks, tons of heavy boxes, a king sized mattress, and a toilet up a narrow and steep staircase like supermen. No dings, no dents, nothing broken, and hella friendly to boot. Something often overlooked as well... they were sweating something fierce as they were doing a ton of work but they still smelled nice. :D Will absolutely be referring these guys and using them again.

Our contract called for four men, a truck and a trailer We received three men and one truck. Lance, Alexander and Gavin were amazing but they had to work much harder and pack much tighter to make our move work. We appreciated their attitudes and how hard they worked, but it was a long grueling day.

In the process of selling a home, renting while we searched for home and having to move in to a short term rental due to owner selling rental we were using, we used four moving companies. Soft Touch was by far the most professional and more accurately the only professional outfit.

The 3 guys showed up early & got right to work. They were very friendly & did a great job. They took extra care with fragile items & packed the truck accordingly. I would definitely use them again in the future.

We have moved around quite a bit and have used some of the best rated national providers in the past and I will say that Soft Touch Moving and Packing easily ranked amongst the best we have ever hired. Prompt, professional, thorough, and took care of our items like it was their own. Each member of the crew was awesome.
