It turned out very well. I thought they did an excellent job. Micheal who was the lead mover, was very experienced and skilled. They moved things quickly. Loading things quickly and unloading things quickly. It took longer because, we had to wait for him to close on his house. They were fine with us calling when we had a date. They were very accommodating and well organized. We thought that it would take them over three hours and it only took them two and a half. I would use them again if I needed to move things locally. I would call them again. Three guys, three hours, and a truck, that was a really good deal. I think they were 10 minutes early. They called us ahead of time and let us know they were going to be here in 30 minutes and that's when they got here. It was great and they were very professional.

They were efficient and even came early. They even handled more work we gave them. They were great I would totally recommend them.

The 2 movers arrived exactly on time. They were professional,courteous and hard working. They reviewed the costs of the job and extra charges for overtime, which I was expecting. I knew the job would take more than the 3 hours. It took 5 1/2 hours. It required moving a 1 bedroom apartment size load from a storage unit, to my home, and then to my mom's new senior living apartment. They had to negotiate long hallways and elevators at each end. The furniture was shrink wrapped and padded and arrived in perfect condition. They assembled the bed and placed all the furniture in place. They removed empty boxes and packaging material. I have moved many times and this was one of the best and easiest.

Mitchell and Nathaniel were great! They carefully wrapped and packed almost 20 pieces of art and mirrors, loaded about 40 boxes, and moved the equivalent of a one bedroom home including outdoor furniture in about 3 hours. Everything arrived in tact--no breakage, no scratches, and even unloaded things as carefully as it was loaded. They were clean, professional, and courteous and arrived on time! I would highly recommend this crew for your future moving needs.

It went so well! From beginning to end they were conscientious of how they moved our items from one place to the other. That offered so much peace of mind that they really cared about our things, and our experience. I have and will continue to recommend them to others. We once used a different moving company, and we had the worst experience. We were hesitant to try a moving company again, until we read all the positive responses about Soft Touch Movers. Oh my goodness, how different they are...they actually took pride in what they did, and were not just after the money! Thank you so much guys, you were awesome!

They arrived early and moved everything very quickly and safely and we could not be happier with the service and the price. After arriving at my dad's senior independent living apartments, the guys were very nice and mindful of where they were and were very polite to everyone they encountered at the apartment. Even the front desk lady remarked that Mitchell and Matt were very polite and friendly as they were going in and out. One piece of furniture was too big for the elevator so the guys unfortunately had to move it by the stairway and I never heard them complain about how hard that was. They just did what they had to do and were very professional. Also, I left my home for my dad's apartment in Peoria the same time Mitch and Matt left my home in the truck. I assumed I would get to Peoria before they did, but they were literally right behind me when I arrived. Again, they were very mindful of the 3 hour window and I appreciated that they did not take their time getting to Peoria! I also liked that they had on polo shirts with the name of the company and the truck looked clean and well kept. I would hire these guys again in a heartbeat for any other moves we may have and also recommend them to anyone needing movers! Mitchell and Matthew were outstanding men as well as outstanding movers! Soft Touch is a very classy and well run company!

(Movers called ahead of time, arrived a little earlier but good given it was going to be a hot day. According to the movers I was pretty organized and that aided the move in approximately an hour. I prepaid for the service on an offer they had for 2 movers and 26 ft truck for 3 hours. Given the small amount of volume to move hardly fitted the truck. Anyhow, one of the movers said given the distance (1.3 miles) they may be able to waive the 10% fuel surcharge. Movers were professional, efficient and pleasant - great staff, and an asset for the company. However all done, a last attempt to call and get the fuel surcharge move failed. Other than that given it was the July 4th weekend I believe some good customer service could have been accommodated with the pricing as it was completed way below the paid for time and distance only 1+ mile. Otherwise excellent staff and services. Pricing not so especially since no mention of the 10% fuel charge was brought to me attention until the day of move.

Mike, Nate, and Matt arrived on the dot and got it done. They were so efficient with their time, I told Mike how much money I had to spend and he made the time work to the minute. These guys were GREAT. It was super hot and they were such an upbeat crew. It was a pleasure to have these three help us move, it greatly reduced the amount of stress moving causes and I would recommend them highly. Thanks so much Mike, Nate and Matt, you guys got it going on!

It was a very positive experience. They were excellent, professional, knowledgeable and kind. Each item was padded, protected and loaded to make the best use of all space. I have only positive feedback. If you need someone to help you out while moving these guys are number 1. I give Soft Touch Moving my highest recommendation.

Soft Touch did a wonderful job moving my furniture and heavy items. I was so impressed by their efficiency, attitude, strength, observation skills. They worked effortlessly. The whole process took exactly 3 hours (as planned). I was so happy with their work and never knew moving could be so easy. This is the first time I have ever used movers and if I ever need to move again I will call on soft touch. I had bought an Angie's List deal for $199 for three hours of work and three movers with 26-foot truck. The one thing that was disclosed upon their arrival is that the moving supplies used (padding and tape and gas mileage) are extra. Fortunately, I was moving nearby to my former home so the mileage was very small but that is something to be aware of for people moving longer distances and to have a lot more stuff. It took about 20 minutes for them to get all of the furniture padded (they worked fast) before moving items could occur. It was all by the book and very professional. Great Team!!! They were pleasant and worked hard in heat to move everything. They were quick and they vwere productive the entire time. They offered suggestions to make it easier. I was very pleased.

It went very well. Soft touch did an excellent job

We had 3 moving guys, they arrived on time and overall did a great job. They carefully handled all the furniture and boxes. For the first hour they were moving real fast and got a lot done, then they seemed to slow down. I didn't say anything for the first "slow" hour, but then realized I wasn't imagining things. I politely said something to one of the guys, and he explained the reason for what seemed to be a slowdown, was that they wanted to carefully wrap everything, and they had one guy outside loading/positioning the items put on the truck. Shortly thereafter, I overheard the 3 guys arguing about how I commented about them "slowing down." To make a long story short, they ended up picking up the pace, and they moved and unloaded everything at it's destination safely. They apologized at the end for the apparent "slow down" and they knocked an hour off the bill. Since they apologized and adjusted the final bill, and overall did a great job, I would certainly use these guys again.

Great! The movers were very gentle with all of our belongings and placed everything exactly where we wanted it. Totally hassle free!

Scott and team arrived on time and immediately set out to get things moving. They had great attention to detail on protecting the doorways, floors and furniture items. Moving can be very stressful. We had used other movers in the past that frankly frustrated us with multiple requests from multiple movers and no apparent game plan. It was obvious from the start that this move would be different. A plan was discussed, we gave our concerns which were completely taken care of and included in the plan. The team stayed in high spirits on what became a very long day. Everything arrived safely. Cannot thank Scott and team enough. It was a great move.

We bought an Angie's List Big Deal for Soft Touch Moving and Packing....$199 for a 26ft truck, 3 men for 3 hours. Donald and two other guys showed up right at the scheduled time of 7:30 am. Upon starting, a red runner was put down at the entry and they covered the front door jambs. All furniture that had a potential for damage was padded and wrapped before being taken out of its respective room. All three guys hustled and were extremely friendly. The truck was packed very efficiently as to maximize as much space as possible. The last thing anyone wanted was a second trip, given it was a 45 min drive in each direction! They were able to get everything on with just a little room to spare and got on the road. They pulled up to the house at just about the same time my boyfriend did. The unloading process was just as efficient as the loading. They were careful carrying everything upstairs and didn't nick a single wall. They put everything exactly where we asked for it to be placed and also unwrapped all the padding and plastic. We went over our 3hr time limit purchased with the Big Deal by 4 hours and paid their normal hourly rate of $110pr/hr. We were happy to do so, since the entire process went to smoothly. This is the first time we've ever hired movers and we are SO happy we did. Hopefully this is the last move for a very long time, but, if we ever do need to move again, we'd hire Soft Touch in a heartbeat!

Can't say enough. They packed one truck and took it to a storage unit And packed another truck for my son to drive cross country. So professional and neat.

Their operator was terrific in setting everything up exactly as needed. We utilized the AngiesList package savings. The were responsive, responsible and careful. They arrived with a large supply of protective gear for both our items and the walls/doors/floors of all locations. They were also flexible, as our project took a bit longer than expected (due to our under-estimating...not them at all.) We were especially happy with the crew leader, Donald, who was a great leader and kept things moving fast (and was really strong) and we were so pleased that we tipped them all generously.

Showed up on time. Curtius and wrapped and was gentle with furniture. Very friendly and fast service.

Best move ever. I bought the 26' truck with 3 movers for 3 hours Deal. I calculated that it would take 6 hours and I was right. The prorated amount for the extra hours was fair. I also didn't think all my stuff would fit in the truck and I was right. So, I'll need to schedule a second move. I will be scheduling with them soon. No hesitation. The guys were GREAT! They wrapped the furniture very well. Nothing got broken. I did take very fragile/precious items in my own car. They even unpacked my car for me!

the three men that worked on my mothers place were great under the circumstances, had nothing to do with company just the fact it was overwhelming since mother is horder of sorts. but they were great!

The crew was great, three dedicated and hardworkers, arrived on time and set right to work.
