The two fellow that moved us were a pleasure to work with. They were efficient and eager to please. Lisa (who answers the phone) is a treasure!

The movers were careful, quick and polite. I would use them again.

It was great from first contact until the end of the day! I was so impressed by this young couple that I cancelled the mover I had reserved and hired them!

The movers called me in the morning around 11:00 AM and told me they will be at my home around 2:00 PM. I got a call around 2:45 PM that they are running late and shall be there at my home in half an hour. Finally they arrived at 3:45 PM and it was a crew of 2 Persons. The boxes got transferred in the truck in less than 15 minutes, sofa, dining table, center tables and queen bed took another hour to get loaded into the truck. The bunk bed and computer table took them another hour to disassemble which should have taken less. It took them another 45 minutes to disassemble master bed and while bringing down the stairs one of the mover broke down the panel which rendered the master bed unusable. I asked him to leave the master bed in the garage. It took them 3 hours to load the truck and one hour 10 minutes to drive to the destination which was around 30 miles. And it took them another 2hrs 15 minutes to unload the stuff. They charged me for 6 hrs 30 minutes and I paid them at the end of the day. One day later I called and talked to the owner Lisa and she said that the insurance does not cover any panels and on top I had to pay for the dis-assembly of the master bed. She said I signed the papers and mover walked me over those clauses in the contract when they arrived at my residence. I guess this should be divulged the day the order is finalized and not the time when you are waiting on movers where you have no choice and customer is just willing to sign anything. This is what is bad business practice and the whole concept of move is that your stuff will be transferred safely in one piece. I lost another 1200 bucks of furniture.

Lisa, Scott, and their crew were wonderful. I don't think they had a true concept of how many items we actually had, so with our permission, after an extremely long day, they went home about 11pm and returned to finish the following day. I would use them in the future without hesitation and have recommended their services to friends and family.

We used this company in August 2015 to move some of my mother's furniture into an assisted living apartment. It was a wonderful experience. Today, we used them again to move things from my mother's home to my brother's condo, on the second floor with no elevator. This was a different crew, but just as great as the first crew! I called the company to ask if I could use them again and told them of the second story. They gave me Angie's List price for three guys and the moving van. They were right on time. They put down a runner so they wouldn't mess up the flooring in the house. Scott, Mike, and Matthew were totally professional and personable the entire time. They worked efficiently....wrapped every piece of furniture in blankets, and loaded it in the truck, drove to the condo and unloaded everything. I would highly recommend them again...I can't thank them enough for TWO wonderful experiences. Thanks!

This debacle apparently originated with my call to their office, after I purchased the Angies List deal. I booked the move, and they observed that I had used them to move in 2014. They did not ask, however, if this would be the same move, and they didn't ask me how many rooms, how much furniture, or anything like that, and apparently they told the crew that we would only require 3 hours. (In 2014 they assisted us with a move in which we had already packed our belongings in PODS.) When the crew arrived, it was clear that we had two full truckloads, which they were apparently not emotionally or nutritionally expecting. The attitudes declined throughout the day. We were moving a 1950 sq ft house full of furniture and belongings. We had a home office with a lot of files in it (i.e. 40 boxes of files) but if you visited our house before we started packing, you would have found the place spacious and well-kept. I mention this because the crew made frequent complaints about how much stuff we had. Our housekeeper was present throughout the move, and one of the crew members said to her, in Spanish, "You need to tell your boss that he has too much stuff." The 3-man crew was ridiculously slow in their work, yet not careful. It took them 4 hours to load the 27-foot truck the first time, and almost the same to unload across town. The second load took nearly as long. (We also had them take a couple appliances from the new house to Goodwill, on their way back for the second load, and they took almost an hour to accomplish that task. At the end of the day, we had paid for a total of FIFTEEN HOURS to load the truck twice and move a 1950 sq ft house. What's worse were the results. We did not have any breakage, but we had marked our boxes carefully, and during the second load the crew seemed to just stop trying to put boxes in the right rooms. This caused us tremendous work and inconvenience in the days that followed. We had given a good review to this same company in 2014, which made this experience even more disappointing.

These guys did a great job, I would use them again or recommend them to anyone who has to move. They were careful in moving my stuff and they wrapped and padded the furniture to protect it. They were professional and I was very pleased with this service compared to the last experience I had with another moving company.

The movers were EXCELLENT. Very careful and focused. One worker even RAN back to the truck every time he brought a load into the house. They were very focused on saving as much time as possible. No damage to anything. Highly recommended.

These guys were fantastic, very organized and worked well together as a team. Very courteous, they scheduled us at the last minute which helped us avoid a serious timing problem. They were very upbeat, attended to our preferences and needs and just generally did an excellent job.

They took the precautions and steps necessary to prevent either house from being damaged as items were moved out and into the new place. The They took care with items as they were moved but still moved quickly. I would use them again.

The guys (Matt, Ernie and Mike H) showed up between the allotted hours (10-2; they arrived at 11:45 and called when they were enroute), loaded the truck up and unloaded at the new address. They took care to protect the entry door and door frame with blankets to prevent nicks and scratches to both. The unloading portion went very quickly, as I went from a 2 story to a 1 story, and they clarified where everything needed to go. They asked if I needed their help putting some of the items back together and were good when I declined the offer. Overall, it was a good experience and I would recommend them!

Scott and Mike brought me a damaged table and paid for a repair to a bed frame. Professional team.

Did not meet my expectations. Not the best service and took longer than expected. (Said was due to road conditions, etc.)

I had done a fair amount of prep so the contents of my home was ready to go. They are very meticulous in wrapping the furniture. It does take a little longer, but if you care about your stuff, the make sure it is protected. The wrapping also helps protect your walls and home during the move. The added care, also adds to the price but I think the modest additional cost is worth it considering the downside if a wall or a piece of furniture is dinged.

They were very nice and professional. Very hardworking. They took no breaks and wouldn't accept offers of food.

This was absolutely the best moving experience we have ever had and that would be many. The 3 young men arrived early and needed absolutely no direction. The furniture which was large had to be carried down 3 flights of stairs from a loft with a circular staircase. There was never a complaint and they were FAST! I purchased a 3 hour move time and they literally ran down the storage facility's hallways to make sure they would not go over...that's impressive to me. There was another Mayfair Moving truck there at the storage place, and their guys were standing around, moving so slowly and complaining. The woman who was using MayFair asked me for a Soft Touch card! I will definitely use them again!

I was very impressed. Scott, Ernesto, Mike, and Mike carefully wrapped and moved all of our furniture. They were friendly, helpful, and made sure we were happy with their work.

The team of movers showed up and did the job from start to finish. They were all happy and upbeat people that really looked to enjoy the work and the people they worked with. Soft Touch Moving is very responsive to messages and stands behind the servicespeformed .

The three gentlemen did an excellent job. They did arrive three hours late at 4 PM for a 1 PM job. I offered to let them do it the next day but they wanted to complete the job the same date. They worked efficently and professionaly with a positive attitude during the five hours it took to load, unassember, unload and reassemble furniture and other belongs. I was concerned they would be tired and get sloppy but their performance with excellent.

They did exactly what was asked, and hustled the entire time. I would definitely use them again.

Great. A 3 team crew showed up on time and moved everything within the 3 hour time frame we purchased. They were very professional and courteous, making sure each piece was handled with care. We found no damage to anything. If we move in the future we will definitely call this company again.

Great work to the best movers ever! The 3-man team showed up within the time widow. They were Matthew, team leader; Ernie, an experienced mover; and Lance, a new member to the team ? and they are superior movers. I've used four other companies in the past, including a big, cross-country mover, and no one beat this team for professionalism, ability, efficiency, protection of possessions and politeness. During the pick-up, Matthew performed the standard walk-through, taking notes, while his team performed the set-up. He then made a plan with his team and they started the work. Each team member executed his task with speed and competence. Part of the space was very tight and they moved around each other in a well-executed dance. Moving day is always stressful, but this team put me at ease so much that my anxiety disappeared. I enjoyed working with them and knowing that every item moved would be delivered safe and sound. Everything was completely covered in blankets and entirely wrapped in plastic. Past movers were not that thorough. When I was reticent about a painting that was very precious to me, Matthew offered to show me exactly how it would be wrapped, including extra protection to help ease my thoughts. When they arrived at the destination, I voiced my surprise when they used blankets to protect my beat-up, ready-to-be-replaced doors. Matthew responded that they were still my doors and they protect it. Wow! Again, no mover ever did that before. The company did not charge extra to disassemble and reassemble a complicated daybed. This bed was original delivered and assembled by the contractor for the furniture store. With full assembly instructions, it took the 2-man crew more than two hours to assembly it properly ? and their frustration clearly showed. With no instructions, and only a few questions, the team assembled it properly. Ever though I knew it was frustrating for them, they never showed it. As further testament to the ability of the team, the bed in the furniture showroom was also put together wrong. Go team! The move time was set for three hours and they hit it right on the mark. This team is the best! Lisa, in the office, was good to work with. She made sure that I got the best plan for my needs. She knew what I needed even though I didn?t. I highly recommend this company to anyone moving. This team was fantastic and I?m sure that their other teams are as professional and effective as this one. My roommate is looking at three moves over the next year or so: her parents, her boyfriend and her. They will use Soft Touch Movers and will ask for this team by name. They had no problems accommodating this possibly unique request. They were right on time, very communicative, and I dont think I ever saw the crew stop for more than a drink of water once in awhile. It was a great move. Not a single thing wasn't packed and wrapped. Top notch!
