My wife and I wanted to take advantage of the promotion that "Shelves that slide" was having. We had looked around for better pricing, but even without the promotion, this company gave us the best price we could find. We had Chris install 2 sliding shelves in our kitchen area and two in our bathroom area. Chris kept us informed from the day we called in the order right up to the day he came to our home for the installation. Chris had to make a modest adjustment to our cabinet since it required a support brace for the shelves to work properly. This was done easily enough and there were no cosmetic changes that could be seen. We love our new shelves and it is so nice to have these slide out and see what is actually on the shelf. I have bad knees and it was getting more and more difficult to have to kneel down and try to see what was in the back of the shelf. We are very happy we ordered these and we felt that Chris did a great job for us. I would recommend this company to anyone.

Gabe arrived as scheduled, first to measure, and then a couple of weeks later to install the sliding shelves. I was a bit disappointed with the quality and appearance of the shelves. The manufacturer had used wood staples on all four sides of each shelf to attach the plastic covering it. This, of course, left easily seen staple holes in front of the sliding shelves that mare the appearance of the shelf, especially on the higher pantry shelves. One of the shelves had a slight dent. When I pointed it out to Gabe, he pulled the shelf out and turned the dent to the back of the wall. It was good to know you could do that, but of course that limits me from turning that particular shelf around if something happens to the front of the shelf in the future. Before Gabe installed the series of pantry shelves, he was unable to calculate the distance that would be remaining between each shelf after it was installed. This resulted in the need to change the distance between several of the shelves because the resulting space was too small to hold the needed cans/goods. However, Gabe was willing to make the needed changes.Two of the shelves shipped did not fit the existing stack-able space. It was necessary to reorder the shelves so I changed it to 3 shorter shelves in the space instead of the two shelves originally shipped. Because of this it was necessary to remove the existing dividing shelf. "Sliding Shelves" employees do not do any needed carpentry required other than to install the shelves. Gabe came back on Monday to install the last 3 shelves allowing me time to have someone remove the existing shelf and time for me to repaint that space. Gabe removed all of his materials and tools. Each time there was a light smattering of sawdust and wood splinters remaining so I vacuumed and scrubbed that up. Overall I really appreciate having shelves that pull out so I can see everything. I do remain disappointed in the visual appearance of the shelves.

We chose them for the work after reading their reviews on Angie's List. One technician came out to give me the estimate. I didn't hear back from him and found out that he had left the company. The follow up was not as expected, but they quickly sent someone else to complete the work. Two technicians completed the job in just a couple of hours and left no mess behind. It turned out nice.

I really like my shelves that slide and the gentleman who came to take measurements was so nice to offer suggestions that I had not thought of. The shelves have been in for a couple of months and I can't imagine not having them. I had back surgery the a few months before having them installed and was not able to get anything from the lower cabinets. I actually am able to see all my dishes now and know what I have. I also had some installed in my bathroom and enjoy those.

It went very well. The sliding shelves are so nice and spacious. Gabe (owner) took care to measure everything precisely so that no glitches would occur. He and another installer came on time and cleaned up after everything.

They were prompt, on time, courteous and called to confirm. The work was well done and they had our items installed within two weeks of the measurement. Very nice people on the phone and in person,

I love my sliding shelves that were installed! They are sturdy, open and close smoothly, and make it much easier to organize my kitchen. Everything went as I was told it would with no delays or surprises. I highly recommend this company.

Installer was fast, but did an excellent job.

The salesman/installer said 'yes' to what I requested and told me it would be 3 weeks to install. I agreed to purchasing heavier brackets for a couple of shelves due to the weight they would require. I inquired about having separators in one of the shelves for large trays and was told that could be done (no indicator of an additional cost). I noticed after he left that 2 additional drawers that I had asked about having built weren't on the estimate form. I decided to just let it go. After 3 weeks, I hadn't heard from him, so I called him. He made an appt. to install the next evening, but didn't have everything he needed to complete the job once he arrived. He had to come back the following day and completed the job. When I asked him about the 2 additional drawers, I was told those would be special orders and he was too busy to do them. I was told they weren't part of the company's inventory, yet I had seen them on the website. The extra brackets and separators cost us an additional $140, which seemed a bit high, but I'm not going to argue with someone after the fact. We are happy with the job and very pleased with what was done, but I'd be happier with the 2 extra items I had requested.

Met with first installer who did measurements and gave an estimate. Was told it could take 4 to 6 weeks but that he expected the order to be ready in less time than that. 5 weeks later, I heard nothing. I called to check on the order and was told that the installer (Andy )who came to my home no longer worked for them. Then I learned that he did not turn in my order. I was asked to fax a copy of the order to their office and they would get it completed and send another installer. I suggested that this new installer come to do his own measurements. The new installer (Don) came that same afternoon and measured and made a suggestion that would cost less money. Don said that the order would be expedited immediately and should be ready in 2 weeks. I was going out of town for a week. I called when I returned home and reached Don's voice mail. He returned the call to my voice mail and gave me two dates for installation. I called back and chose one of the dates and asked that he confirm. The date that I chose arrived and I had not heard back from Don. I called him and he told me that someone else had chosen that date. Now I am really annoyed since he did not respond to let me know that or to arrange another time. Finally he arrived this past Saturday and began the installation. One of the shelves was missing and he returned to complete everything yesterday (10/29). I think all looks and is performing to my satisfaction but it is really too soon to tell. There is a nick in one of the cabinets that I will need to touch up. OVERALL, this was a big hassle and I definitely expected better since Angie's List had given them a good rating.

After having called several other shelving places and meeting with a couple of them, I decided Shelves That Slide was the way to go. Andy measured, made sure he was ordering what I wanted and gave me the price. I placed my order that day. A month to the day I ordered them (Andy said it would be 3-5 weeks) I have a kitchen full of absolutely wonderful pull out shelves. Andy was a pro from beginning to end. It is so seldomly you find a service person who does what they say they are going to do that it is a breath of fresh air when someone follows through. Thank you Andy. Thank you Shelves That Slide. Plus, Andy said if I ever had any problems to not hesitate to call him;. I am now going back out to my kitchen and admire my shelves!!!!

Everything went well, from start to finish. Andy, the installer, is very easy to work with and goes out of his way to be sure the customer is satisfied. The only improvement I would recommend would be to find a way to shorten the time between measuring/ordering the shelves and installing them. On the first install, we waited 6 weeks for the shelves to come in and maybe another week or so for installation. The second set took about 4 weeks between measuring and installation.

Salesman was also the installer. Was professional in every regard. The product itself is high quality and solved typical storage access problems. If I needed more Shelves That Slide I would not hesitate to call again!

They were very good. We had to have a followup because there was a problem, but the guy came out and corrected it with no hassle and no problem.

I felt very positive about with Dee's knowledge and professionalism. I would have probably gone with him after getting my 3 estimates, but he never really followed-up and the other equally good product offering matched the estimate and was proactive in his follow-up.
