It took almost 9 days to complete, but there were some days the roofers did not work an entire day. We are more than satisfied with the work and would recommend Scott Roofing.

We were very happy with the work that was completed. While it is an older house we were not expecting the cost to be significantly higher than the estimated $18,000. The final cost was over $22,500.

Other than being loud (all the pounding) everything went very well. They made our time frames work for them, even if it took a little longer to complete the job. The foreman had another job at the same time, so we didn't get the same attention oas the other job, but he kept in touch by phone or personally, stopping by when asked to do so. They were as careful to cover plants, pool, etc. from the debris.

They did a great job. When I had some issues they came back with no problem.

Crews worked long and h****** this extensive job over three days. VERY professional. Superintendent (Roy) was excellent as well as his foreman (Eddie) and the two crews (tear-off and re-roof). Safety inspector was on site the second day. From initial contact to end, all my questions were answered either in person, via phone, or by email. Crew cleaned up after each day. Kudos also to Veronica (scheduling) and estimator (Jim). And Roy went above and beyond in seeing that I was satisfied with the work. Though the price was not cheap, the cost of the project will ultimately be determined by the quality of the work and materials over time. And that Scott Roofing will be there to handle any problems which may arise in the future.

Original estimate was made 4/23/13 however work was postponed until June because my schedule conflicts. The job super.scheduled the prep work for Monday 6/10 at 6:30 AM. The crew arrived a little before 9 AM. I reviewed the job with the lead man pointing out concerns of over-spray on new artificial grass, awnings, and open atrium containing large glass artwork. This crew washed down the roof, made patches, and primed the roof. I was told the recoat would be done the next day. The recoat crew did not show up until after 2:00, while we were away from the house. I had received no scehduling call and found no indication they had been there, even checking my areas of concern when we returned. Out of curiosity, I set up my ladder and found the roof had indeed been recoated. I called the East office and reached an answering service who told me she would pass the word that I was unhappy about the "surprise" coating. I did not hear anything from Scott Roofing until 6/18/2013 when the job superintendent called to setup a final inspection and payoff. Overall the work was done in an accurate, neat and craft-like manner. I will call them again for the next 5 year recoat.

The gentleman that arrived to my house was an older guy. Very nice and very professional. I had no problems with him. I just had a problem with the estimate he was handing me. I got this company name when I attended the Home and Garden show a month or two prior. But they were not the only company that came out to give me an estimate. As far as I could tell their pricing was way out of the ball park I don't even know what they were thinking. And as a matter of fact the gentleman called me back later to offer me like a couple hundred off the first estimate. I don't like business like that. Give the estimate and stick to it. It made me think they were just throwing out numbers to see what would stick. Unfortunately, for them it did not stick on my roof. I will try another company.

We live on a golf course, so I call Scott Roofing annually to inspect our roof for damages. I had asked another roofing provider several years ago (on the advice of a neighbor) to give us an estimate. He told me that we needed to have $2,000 worth of major repairs. I called Scott Roofing for another opinion and did not tell them what the other comany had said. They gave me an estimate of $600 and said that they could find no evidence of major repairs that were needed. They saved me from being hustled and treated unfairly. I have trusted them ever since and we have never had a problem with our roof. And they give excellent service!

They have been punctual so far. I have nothing but good things to say about them. They will start the job by next week. But right now I am very happy with them. They came when they said they would. They gave me an estimate for what I wanted and another estimate for what I should do.

Salesman here over 1 1/2 hours.Estimate so high over others, He kept changing it. Even came back after he left with another one-still way high.

They found the problem quickly - that the problem was with the a/c unit. They called an a/c company for us and had them move the unit so the leak would stop. Scott roofing reimbursed us for all the repair and a/c expenses. They provided excellent service.

They are kind of expensive but you get what you pay for. They are an A-plus company and employ a lot of people. They have different teams that do different things and everybody is very professional. This was part of an insurance claim so I paid a retainer up front and then did not have to pay the balance of the bill for another 30 days. I will use them again in the future.

We met them at the home show. Of the three estimates I have received, they were the most professional. He spent a half hour up on the roof by himself looking at the roof for the estimate. He was able to get me an estimate right on the spot. He was very professional, honest, and polite. I didn't get the feeling that he was trying to push anything on me at all.

I had an elevator put in by another contractor. The roofing portion of it leaked. I had Scott's come out to look at it. I got a quote for $3000.00. They were professional when they came out. I wanted the roof fixed and the deck fixed. I thought I was paying $3000 for both. They only fixed the roof and not the deck. I called them to tell them the deck leaked they told me that they only fixed the roof and that they don't fix decks. They had an I don't care attitude they did not offer to help or provide a partial refund. When I called someone out to fix the deck that Scott Roofing didn't fix I was told that part of the roof was not fixed correctly. When I called them to tell them about it they were really rude and still had an I don't care attitude. Two companies told me that part of the roof that Scott Roofing repaired was not correct. I reviewed my contract and it did say roof only but it was not clear in its meaning. We would not spent $3,000.00 to fix part of a problem and not fix all of the problem. My biggest issue is that they did not care at all it was not their problem and thy were not going to help in any way. I originally submitted this review on the phone and I have updated it to be more accurate.

The roof itself is acceptable. The manner in which I was treated was not. The crew failed to tarp my pool, causing roofing materials (tar, nails, wood, shingles, etc) to fall into the pool. The pool vac picked up these things, got stuck, and froze the motor/pump. As a result I had to hire repairman and ultimately purchase a new motor/pump. The crew never did a daily clean up of nails and screws. I have kids and dogs that I could not let in the yard due to the hazards. They broke 2 hummingbird feeders, 3 wind chimes, and snapped a sapling tree in half that I grew from a seed. At lunch the crew sat on top of my pergola in the yard. It is a non-weight bearing structure. The pergola separated from the house and several beams were snapped. The screen on top used for shading was torn due to roofing materials being thrown on top of it. They never reattached the gutters to the house, which was in the contract. It took several calls to get this done. I asked them if they sealed the seams (which was also stated in the contract). The foreman said they had but I discovered otherwise the next time it rained. Now each seam leaks. I had come one from work one evening to discover a waterfall in my living room. The crew had to lift the a/c unit to shingle under it. When they reset it, they connected it wrong and a significant leak was coming from the ceiling. The ceiling was bowing and eventually collapsed. I called the foreman and he refused to come out saying that was something that could wait until morning. The person these roofers hired to fix my damaged ceiling (popcorn type) did a very poor job. Instead of covering my piano and walls well, he just blew the popcorn material. I have stains from this on my piano. It took Scott Roofing more than 3 months to clean up after themselves and even then was just barely up to my standards. I will never recommend this company to anyone.

Our insurance company wanted us to just replace the broken tiles with used tiles. Scott Roofing really went to bat for us and approached our insurance to get the whole roof replaced. They did an excellent job. We were very pleased with everything they did.

I spent $17000 on that work. We would not know that they were in the house working. They were very professional. They did not ask to use the bathrooms. The only negative was the financing. We chose the no interest payment for the year. We chose to pay by credit card to make the monthly payments but they opened a Wells Fargo account for us and had to pay by check. When we told them that we would have got points if we had paid by credit card they refunded $150 that we would have got on the credit card. Their price was more than the others.

We were entirely satisfied with the quality of work done on the roof and how they worked with the AC company. The only negative comment is that the financing was not what we were lead to believe it would be. We chose the 0% same as cash for one year and were told several times we could pay the monthly payment with our credit card, earning reward points. This turns out not to be true The financing is actually done through Wells Fargo who established a retail credit card in our name with a $19,000 credit limit which went on our credit report. We will need to pay the monthly payment by check. When we spoke with Customer Service about our displeasure we were very impressed and satisfied with their response and solution. Were it not for the misdirection of the financing, we would give them a top rating in everything.

Everything part of our experience with this company, from initial contact to estimate to work to follow-up, was excellent and professional. Office staff was friendly, estimator was knowledgeable, and project manager, Mike, was fantastic: always available and oversaw every detail of the work, no matter how small, from initial deliveries to final cleanup. The cost was a bit more than the estimates we received from other companies, but the work came with a 20-year warranty and was performed quickly and efficiently. When a few issues came up along the way (like the air conditioner not coming back online after re-hooking or some drywall issues that developed inside), Mike made sure a technician or craftsman arrived promptly to fix things. Mike also made himself available to answer all of my questions and explain the work to me in each stage. I will use this company for any future roof repairs and would strongly recommend others use them, or at the very least, receive an estimate from them.

Estimator arrived on time and did a thorough job of inspecting roof. Estimate was much higher than company I chose.

I called four different roofing companies to ask if they could redo my roof with some energy efficient materials I had been researching, some of the other companies I called were very patronizing which I did not appreciate and when I called them they were willing to listen. They came out and did the roof and were eager to please and they had great follow up and when I called them 4 years after they had done the work because some shingles fell off they stood by their work no questions asked.
