Representative came out, looked at the roof. Took pictures and explained what needed to be done at a staggering price of $9302 with a 10 year warranty!!!! I'm a single female on a set income in a 55 and older mobile home park. Told him I was getting estimates and would let him know-he had a contract ready for me to sign immediately! After having 6 roofers making estimates this company's was the extreme highest. Most people in the park with a double wide paid around $5000. Rep called me back about a week later and I informed him that his estimate was too high and the warranty too low. He than stated to me "the SLOPE of your roof" and that is when I felt he was trying to take advantage of me and trying to make me feel stupid. I hung up on him. I would not trust this company as I feel they are taking advantage of 'older' people on set incomes.

Came out to do an inspection and an estimate. Said we'd hear from them early the next week. Then nothing. No estimate. No call, text or email to say they weren't interested in the job.

They were very prompt with the estimate, delivery of materials and start time. They were here every day including weekends until the job was done. They cleaned up the yard and power washed the driveway when done. The foreman was always available for questions or problems.

Great. My main contacts were Jeff and Roy, but I thought all the workers were exceptional, professional, hard working.

Scott Roofing gave me a detailed estimate, explained everything and answered all my questions. Offered interest-free financing, did the job professionally and cleaned up after themselves. Very happy with their service!

They were extremely expensive. So I didn't even consider them. It was $13,000 to do the same job that I got done for nine and nine ended up being more than the estimate was. If they ran into the problems, it would have been probably a lot more. They were totally out of the ballpark with their pricing. They came out right when they said they would. They seemed good, but when they gave me the estimate, it was like, "I'm not even considering you."

Their estimate was twice the price of the other two providers we talked to. The only reason that they received a "D" and not an "F" was because they at least did follow up with me. They did come out and give us an estimate, but it took them 10 days to come out.

Very impressed with their salesperson Brad ( we canceled , but we were charged restocking fee - others don't do that ), but the prices were so incredibly high. We talked to so many companies , and they are doing the same things Scott roofing is doing. We even end up using better material ( TU 43 ) for underlayment than they were offering. Very sad they are taking advantage of people. There is no way their prices should be 50% more! This is simply arrogant.

Took longer than expected but completed completely

I can highly recommend Scott Roofing. They used two layers of high quality underlayment and replaced all the vents. The workers' attention to detail was excellent. The roof is gorgeous and I can now relax knowing that the roof is guaranteed for 20 years and the guarantee is transferable to the next owner.

We contacted Scott Roofing, based on Angie's List reviews. They took a few days to get back with us, but eventually called to make an appointment for an estimate. On the day of the estimate, the representative showed up on time and started his inspection. We were up front about not being in a position to spend several thousand dollars, and only wanted the specified repair. After the inspection, the rep provided us with a written estimate for replacing the back half of our roof. As this was beyond our budget, we declined and went with another provider that was willing to work within our specifications.

We decided on another company. The gentleman from Scott Roofing was very professional and very thorough but his price was way higher than the other roofers that we contacted. The other companies came up with the same conclusions but quoted a lower price. All were licensed and insured.

Very satisfied with the wok they did. Any contact that I had with them, I was satisfied with the whole thing. They were very punctual and cleaned up afterwards well. Just felt it was a very good experience. I would recommend then and indeed have them at anytime that I needed them.

My home suffered roof damage due to a wind and water storm that occurred back in early January. I gathered quotes from different roofing contractors to make the necessary repairs. I was advised from all three contractors that I needed to replace my entire roof. After meeting all of the roofing estimators I decided to go with Scott Roofing because their estimator (Brad Z) was very friendly and clearly knew what he was talking about. The experience got even better when superintendent Brad Robertson came with his team to replace my roof. Brad Robertson was very knowledgeable, patient, and very professional. He answered all of my questions. This was my first experience replacing an entire roof so I had lots of them. Also, he would always show up on time and would call me daily to give me a progress report of how the process was going. Brad took photographs before and after the roof process and presented them to me when the job was complete. He made sure there was no mess and left the exterior of the house looking very clean. Scott Roofing was not the cheapest company in town, but they did an amazing job. They always say ? you get what you pay for? and with Scott Roofing it?s so true. I made an appointment for a free roof inspection for my 12 year old tile roof. The appointment person was friendly and made an appt for a 1 hour free roof inspection for only a few days into the future. The inspector from Scott Roofing, Kurt, arrived on time. He climbed his ladder onto the roof as I watched from below. Right away he found a couple of tiles that had dislodged. The underlayment, was fine and he later showed me a photo of the underlayment. Kurt placed the loose tiles back for me. He checked the pipe flashings, the underlayment condition in several areas,the valleys for anything that might block rain flow, etc. He found no cracked tiles. Kurt said that my roof needs no service and charged me nothing for putting the dislodged tiles back and for the inspection. He told me that the builder did such a good job that my roof might last 19-21 years! However, I should call him back in three or four years to inspect again.. I am glad that I called Scott Roofing!

Our foam roof needed recoating, and it leaked during a heavy rain. Scott Roofing has taken care of our roof for many years and they came right out to evaluate. The estimator notified us that the majority of the 12 skylights needed replacing in addition to the roofing repairs. We knew that skylight replacement was a possibility as they were more than 25 years old and were showing their age. In addition, he pointed out to us that the roof had been damaged by hail and to contact our insurance company regarding coverage. The estimator also returned to meet the insurance adjuster to review the roof damage with him. Scott Roofing did a wonderful job for us. The majority of our skylights were not standard sizes and had to be fabricated by another company. Scott Roofing was unwilling to accept the first skylights as they would not fit correctly the way they were sized. The positioning of the operating skylights presented a challenge also. The concern that the company showed for the integrity of the structure of our home during this challenging job confirmed our long term confidence in them. The insurance company covered most of the work. Scott Roofing us offered us 0% interest short term loan to cover what wasn’t reimbursed. We will continue to use them in the future and wouldn’t consider another company. Their reputation as an industry leader in Phoenix is well-earned.

The intial phone call was great. They set up an apt in reasonable time. The estimator, Earl, came on time -8am. But was down hill from there. He was unprofessional. I told him I needed the quote asap. I told him I could come back to pick it up. He said, "no, but he could drop it off at my work or home." I thought it was strange and said, "ok, call me when you are done." He never called. That evening, 5pm I called and requested the information. He picked up the call but said he'd call me back in "90 mins." 4 hours later, 9pm he called me back. Walked me through the quote, but I told him I needed it in writing. He then said, "my mom isn't home yet. I could have her send it when she gets home but not sure what time that will be tonight. Worst case scenario, I will send it from the office tomorrow." I didn't even know what to say. In the end, it didn't arrive till the next day in the afternoon. Having Earl as the face of the business is the SOLE reason I am not going to do business with this company. SO UNPROFESSIONAL. I can not speak to how the job would have gone if I had hired them.

They came out originally for an estimate, and took pictures of everything that needed repair, and then scheduled a repair date. They were upfront on the condition of the roof due to age, and how long it might last before needing to be replaced. They did the repair on time, in about 2 hours. At the completion of the job, they showed pictures of the areas they had repaired. We have used this company before. They do excellent work!

We did not use Scott because of their cost weighed against our not planning to stay in the house for an extended period. Scott's estimating process was thorough and complete, their explanation of their competitive advantage was credible, and their warrantee was better than competitive. Scott's reputation and industry standing supports their premium price. If we were planning on staying in this house for another 20 years, we probably would have selected Scott Roofing.

The Scott rep showed up punctually to estimate the job. I secured two other estimates. Scott's estimate was over 25% higher than the other two, but the product they use on flat roofs was the product I wanted due to its toughness in the desert heat. There were a few days of wait before we could get started due to their work load. They provided us with the addresses of several homes in our area where we could view the colors available, which was very helpful. We were happy with the colors offered and we like our choice. On one day a large crew arrived to tear off the old roof, place the new rolled underlayment, and hot-mop the back porch roof. They worked safely even with a lot of people around. They were careful around my wife's plants and gardens. They used a magnet to pick up some of the staples, nails, etc dropped on the ground, but they left a few behind (my wife and I carefully looked through the grass before we mowed and we were glad we did as there were still a lot of projectiles left behind). On two consecutive days a two-man cerw arrived to place the new shingles. The installation looks good. The only goof took place when the crew decided to abandon an old unused drain line from my roof-top heat pump. Their well-intentioned plan was to simply push the unused line into the attic and shingle over the roof penetration. However, the line was full of water. So, when they pushed it down into the attic space the water spilled out onto the drywall ceiling of the Master Bedroom, making a brown spot. To their credit, Scott sent a repairman who crawled back into the attic to solve this mystery, and then sent a man to repair the ceiling...which turned out really well. So, a happy ending. Regarding their carpentry crew, they are very skilled and helpful, Their work looks great, too.

My most recent communication with them was a POSITIVE one - I am happy to report. I had leaks and a guy came out and took care of them - - no cost to me. I told him what an awful experience I had had with the roof being put on and he apologized and was very nice. He said they will come out once a year and walk around the roof and make sure it all looks good for no charge. I will definitely do this in the future. As I said, my initial experience was horrible and diminished my trust for them, but this most recent experience was a positive one. Lesson to be learned: Do LOTS of homework!

They were very timely and were here when they said they would be here. They did a very professional job. Everything was cleaned up and taken care of. They were a little hire than others but, my insurance covered it.

They wanted to redo the whole roof for thousands of dollars, when all I needed was a an 8 x 10' leak fixed.

They were courteous, polite and respectful. They did excellent work and were very puntcual. They also communicated any schedule changes very well, presenting them as options rather than absolutes.
