The owner was running a special on cleaning filters for 38.00. I purchased the coupon and after purchasing realized he was not in my service area. I called the next day and spoke with the owner. He said that was not a problem and would honor the coupon. He did a great job. He was friendly, polite, thorough, detailed. He took time to explain certain features about the pool. I can't say enough great things about him. I wish this was his service area because I would love to have him continue service on my pool. Thank you.

Matt did a fantastic job and was very fast and efficient. He worked around our timetable to get everything up and going before we left on vacation, which I very much appreciated. Even with the surprise of a broken manifold, he made sure that the work was done before we left. I also appreciated that he stuck to the original estimate, of course the final overall total was a little more because of the need to replace our broken manifold, but for the estimated original work there were no surprise extra costs. Our pool now looks like it did when we first put it in. I'm very happy with Rockman Pools and with Matt and I would and will highly recommend them to anyone with pool problems or who just need someone to maintain their pool. I plan on using Rockman Pools to continue to maintain my pool for the foreseeable future.

I'm too sick for 3 weeks to sit here long....so I can just say that I am a stickler for perfection and getting things done on time...etc....and everything went great from start to finish.....it's been several weeks because I've been sick....call me if you want details....

This was one of the best new-contractor experiences I've ever had. I bought the Angie's List pool service special for $38 and was expecting minimal work. Matt arrived 10 minutes early and graciously waited for me to finish a business conference call. He went to work immediately assessing my pool system, spotting the two areas of concern I had right off the bat. He did a complete evaluation of the system, showed me where some of the flow settings were incorrect, how an actuator works (which had been a mystery up until then), and set the system to the proper water flow and fill level. Matt then gave me a walk-through of how to properly replace a cracked piece of PVC tubing with materials I can buy at Home Depot for about $10 (which another company in the past wanted to charge me $200 to replace). He cleaned the filters, showed me a gasket that needs silicone lubricant to revitalize the rubber to eliminate an air leak in the flow controls. He was done in less than half an hour, cleaned up the whole area, after minimizing the amount of splash, mud and run-off water from draining the cartridge, and - best of all - didn't talk to me like a child, or try to sell me anything, or pull any kind of switch of any kind. All-around, this was a terrific value and great service.

I purchased a Big Deal for $38 for a filter clean and system check. Matt, the owner, was very quick to call and make an appointment with a half hour window, given as between 12-12:30. (I am so tired of 4-hour windows that keep me at home half the day, that alone was wonderful!) I told him on the phone I was having problems with the water sensor. I gave him the model info and he said he would bring the part, and some extra PVC pipe, so that he would have it if needed. He arrived the next day right on time at 12:30. He identified that the sensor line had been lunch for a mouse and needed to be replaced AND he had the correct part so I didn't need to schedule yet another appointment to install it. (another big plus in my book!) He also took some steps during the installation to make it more difficult for a rodent to get at the line. He identified three gaskets that were leaking air. I had noticed a lot of air bubbles coming out at start up, but a previous repairman just shrugged his shoulders at the problem. He replaced two Jandy valve gaskets and another on the filter basket. (He had all the correct gaskets with him) Now, it starts up like it used to...no bubbles coming out. The extra parts and labor were $163, and he gave me the Angie's list discount ($25) on the additional work. In summary, I have had pools for decades and used many companies and had many service techs. This was the first time EVER that someone showed up on time, completed all repairs at once since they had all the parts, was courteous and effcient, and I felt like I got a great value. I will definitely call Rockman Pool Service again and recommend them to my neighbors.

I can't say enough good things about Matt and Rocketman Pool Service. He really knows his stuff. He showed up on time and addressed all my pools issues. The pool looked immaculate after his visit and he helped clear up a nagging algae issue. If your pool needs a tune up or regular service, spend your money here with Matt, you will not be disappointed. A+++++ service at a great price.

We have been using rock man pool service since 2007 at they have given us excellent service.

Rockman Pool Service is cleaning my pool at my rental property in Peoria and I live out of state. They have been doing this for me for two years now. I have never had a complaint from my tenant about Rockman. When the tenant has called with any pool related issues, I call Rockman Pool Service and they have always taken care of the problem quickly and reasonably. I appreciate them for taking care of the pool and keeping an eye on the system and letting me know when parts need servicing or replacing.
