Rockman Pool Service

We started this summer on a weekly basis and the professionalism and punctuality was excellent. I have since converted to semi-monthly service thru the winter months and will return to weekly service in the late spring.

This is the third time I've had Rockman Pool Service do work for me at my two houses. Matt is always the consummate professional, friendly and provides top-quality service with no run-around and no attempt to up-sell on anything. He's always crystal clear on his advice and recommendations and he's always on-time and within budget. If Matt tells you it's "X" ... it's "X".

Matt cleaned the filter, pump and pool. I had used Matt earlier in the year when I had to drain my pool. Matt is very professional and friendly. Most importantly he knows his stuff. I have used him twice now and will continue to do so in the future for weekly pool service.

Matt is very professional. He returns your calls or emails promptly. He addresses your concerns with a positive attitude. I have used their service for about 6 months now and am happy so far with how the pool looks and that I can count on the service being reliable to be here weekly on the day agreed on. I have had several pool companies in the past, and my experience thus far with this company has been great. I feel comfortable recommending them to others.

It went well. Matt is a very nice young man and went out of his way to help us. He got our cleaning system running again and now our pool is sparkling clean instead of yucky green.

Very responsive, he let me know when he was delayed in traffic for 30 mins. He took time to walk me through all the aspects of the pool. Cleaned the filters made adjustments and advised on all areas of the pool. This service would have been worth it even at full price! I recommend that even if you take care of your own pool, to get professional service a few times a year - I would use Rockman again.

Very professional. We were out of town for one month and the pool service maintained the pool; it looked great when we got home. We were informed what chemicals were used, what needed to be done, and if there were any concerns about the balance.

Everything went great. We have continued our service with Rockman Pool all summer. The pool was always clean and looking great for swimming.

The service from Rockman Pool Service went fine. No additional charges, they did fine. A part of the dilemma is that we weren't there when they did the service so we only can see the final result, we were not there at all and we had a maintenance man talk to them. As far as I know, they did fine, we really don't know.

I used them for their annual pool start service and all went very well. When the company offered a deal on weekly service I jumped on it. Unfortunately the weekly service was sub par. The skimmers weren't emptied the chemicals were way off and the pool looked worse than when I took care of it. I spoke with the owner and gave him two additional weeks to improve. Nothing changed. I will say that they showed up on time and on the days they were supposed to do the work, but the quality was awful. The owner did refund the unused portion of my payment, but frankly for the poor workmanship I feel I should have gotten a full refund. I've since gone back to servicing my own pool (which looks great again) and will never use or recommend this company again.

They have been great. I have now hired them for a routine service. They come out weekly. I had initially purchased a big deal, and then I hired them for routine maintenance. There have been a couple of times when the guy who does the weekly service comes out, and my husband and I are doing something in the yard, and if there is anything heavy, he offers to help, if my dogs are out, he plays with them a little bit. He is just very good and personable. I am very impressed.

The pool guy did a great job and our pool sparkled.

Matt at Rockman Pools is the kind of contractor you always hope will show up at an appointment. The man is a complete professional, does top-quality work, communicates issues and answers quickly and with clear detail, works fast, cleans up after himself and leaves the job site in far better condition and functionality than he found it.

So far so good with Rockman Pool Service. He just started so he's only been servicing our pool for two weeks.

Matt came by and described what he would have to do to hook up a pool suction cleaner and gave me a reasonable estimate. He showed up on the day and time we agreed to and carried out the work. Matt was very professional, seemed to be well informed and answered many questions I had about my pool. I would not hesitate to use his services again.

Arrived on time, determined problems, provided estimate and date to repair. Came when promised and did great job.

I am so glad I found this company on Angie's list. I was looking for someone to clean the pool filters. The company that was maintaining my pool wanted to charge me $85 to clean the filters and my monthly fee of $90 to keep my pool clean. So I shopped around and found Matt's company. I called and got an appointment the next day. Matt was very nice and professional. He cleaned the filters and will be maintaining our pool on a weekly basis starting in May. I decided to switch my pool cleaning services because I was paying a monthly fee and I was getting charged extra fees for chemicals and to clean the filters. Matt explained that his pool services included the weekly cleaning, chemicals, and filter cleaning every 6 mo. This is what I was looking for all along, so I told Matt to start in a few weeks. Thanks Matt.

Called me to advise he was running five minutes late, but ended up be right on time. Very professional, spent over an hour with me to make sure I understood the DE system and how to do it myself. Very impressed with this young businessman!

Matt did a complete check on my pool, pump and all accessories. He then cleaned my filters, filter housing and traps. Then did a system check to ensure it was working correctly. He gave me a thorough run through on how to operate my system and maintain my pool. I would definitely use them again, and definitely recommend them.

Overall, I was very pleased with the services that Rockman provided. I was able to see examples of upgraded pool resurfaces and got advice on the new variable speed pool pumps, the advantages/disadvantages of chlorine vs. salt water systems.
