Larry Goldstein, Preferred Handyman's owner, is one of the most professional and skilled handymen I have ever worked with. He first came to our rescue when we found out our wood floors could not be installed because of a leak from one of our windows. He sealed and caulked the windows. There was damage inside the wall and Larry cleaned.and repaired all the damaged areas, replaced and textured the drywall. He didn't paint because the entire house was to be repainted later. He replaced four rooms' worth of baseboards. We had some complications with the hardwood floors and the threshold out to the garage. Larry created a practical and attractive threshold. Later, he came after a plumbing job and repaired drywall and the drain hose receptacle for our washer. Larry has always been available to give advice or, if needed, to recommend experts when he does not have the skills or knowledge to do a job. We have found him to be reliable, trustworthy and meticulous with his work and cleanup. We will be needing more services soon and he will be our first choice when it comes to a handyman.

I never heard from him again. Never received price quotes. He had my phone, email and address so he could reach me if he wanted. He didn't even contact me to say he didn't want to take the job or make excuses such as saying he was too busy. Just totally dropped the ball for whatever reason.

Larry of Preferred Handyman Services is a top-notch service provider. I reviewed him in September and was asked by Angie's List to review again. My opinion of him has not changed. We had a plethora of jobs to be done to get our house ready for sale and Larry responded positively, energetically, and knowledgeably to all items on our list. I worked side by side with Larry for several days and he was fun and easy to get along with. He returned to finish some items up, working with my husband and patiently teaching him along the way. My husband had a lot of fun learning from him. Larry was always punctual, clean, and has a lot of integrity. It is now 9 months after the projects were completed and everything has held up well as it was done in a high quality manner. I would not hesitate to contact Larry again when I am in need of a handyman and really appreciate all he did for us, working weekends and Labor Day to meet our deadline. He is very resourceful and was able to direct us correctly in finding certain hardware parts and other service providers for details that were outside of his realm. I am so glad that there are providers out there like Larry who are reliable and professional.

I have yet to find a construction or handyman-type job that is beyond Larry's capabilities and his work is always of the highest quality.

Larry did a wonderful job. the job turned out beautfil. He was very neat and clean about the mess. Every night when he was done, I could barely tell he had been there because he cleaned up the area so nicely. I would definitly hire him again.

Larry was able to take care of everything, and he took time to explain things along the way. I added a few repairs to my list after Larry arrived. Consequently, everything took longer than the time he had allotted for me. But what he didn?t have time to repair, he came back to complete at a later date. I found Larry to be knowledgeable and competent in the work he does. In addition, Larry is a very pleasant person. We were happy with the work that was done; small repairs that made a big difference. Started work. Did an outstanding job. Showed a lot of pride in his work. Very professional. Gave quality work for a reasonable price. A lot of attention to detail. Will definitely use this company again, and highly recommend to all. Gave me good hints for any future work.

Larry is truly knowledgeable and a great guy. Even helping with issues that remained from an improper kitchen cabinet layout and install by contacting the cabinet manufacturer to rectify the problems. A+.

Larry provided an individual list of what each task would cost and how long it would take to fix. He showed up as scheduled early Monday morning and continued to work until it was dark. He came back to finish and again worked from early in the morning until dark completing all the projects as agreed upon. He even went to the hardware store to pick up the new mirrored doors for us as our vehicles were not able to handle their size. Everything task was completed to our total satisfaction.

Larry did a great job and I'm so pleased I've handed out his business cards to my family and friends. Larry is really a nice, friendly gentleman that is very conscientious about doing excellent work and pleasing his customers.

Larry did everything I needed at much less cost than my property management company was quoting. He called frequently to let me know what was going on and went out of his way to get the house pristine again. I enthusiastically recommend him.

Larry and his brother were wonderful to work with, and ended up doing more things than I originally hired them to do. They were on time, respectful of my house and property, and did excellent work for a very reasonable price. I am thrilled that I have found someone who can do any number of things needed to keep my house looking good and running well. I definitely will use them again.

The service provided to me by Preferred Handyman Services LLC was excellent. I've used him a couple of different times and I would use him again. His prices are a little high.

I am convinced that whatever your requirements are for repairs in the home, you should stop right here. Larry is the person you are looking for. I found out quickly why it took a while to get on his schedule. I could write a two page report on Larry's expertise, professionalism, knowledge, skill and work ethic, but I won't. I will say that he is the most professional and innovative handyman I have ever seen. No problem is beyond his resolve. What appeared as a difficult problem to me was a " not to worry " for Larry. When he showed up for work he never stopped until time to leave. He would point out different was that might work better for the fob and never did he take a short cut. He incorporated several small items that were not on the estimate that made the job polished. At the end of the work day he cleaned up so as you never knew he had been there. I would definitely call Larry for any l house job I might have in the future.

Stop here! And look no further if you're looking for the best handyman in town. We're very lucky to have found Larry. I'm even hesitant about leaving a great review, because I might not be able to get on his schedule when the word gets out how great he is. Larry is clean, leaves your home like he was never there, dresses clean, and is in good shape physically to handle handy work. Larry goes from one job to another without a struggle or any complaints. If he comes across a problem when doing a job, he says, "no worries," and he goes on to figure it out quickly. I can't say enough good things.

Excellent work. Repaired lighting which has been a problem for ages and which no one else has been able to repair in the past. Larry repaired patio posts and then painted them. They look fantastic. We highly recommend Larry and he will be our handyman for as long as he's in business. Larry even called a couple of days later to make sure everything was still okay. We can't say enough good things about Larry including the fact that our one hyper dog loves him.

Fantastic! Larry was very thoughtful and methodical about solving my problem. He truly measured twice and cut once! The original thought from my appliance installer was that the entire cabinet would need removing and remanufactured, including the custom crown molding. Larry was able to find a fast, proper solution that did the trick. No tearing apart a custom cabinet and setting me back in time and money. He got the job done, and we are NOT DELAYED with our installation of the Pro 48. Larry quickly returned my call, showed up when he said he would, was very pleasant. In fact we are planning on using him for a remodeling project on our fireplace and TV entertainment center. When Larry left , he asked me to call when fridge is going in tomorrow in case he needs to tweak his repair. That is very comforting to know he considers the whole job, not just his contribution. We felt blessed that we met him.

Larry is a nice happy person who did a great job on the few items we had. He was prompt, pleasant and gave good suggestions to fit our needs. We highly recommend him.

I called up Larry because our garbage disposal was not working. He said he would come and look at it and see if you get it unstuck. He was very nice on the phone, and just as nice in person when he came over to look at our garbage disposal. He got the garbage disposal are working but discovered that a plumber who had put it back together from a counter project had messed up the piping. Larry ended up replacing the garbage disposal and fixing the plumbing. He did a great job. The next day our dog discovered a leak in the bathroom, when I investigated it I found the toilet seal was bad. Back on the phone to Larry who came and saved the day again. These days it is hard to find someone that has pride in his work, and will fix things at affordable price. Larry Goldstein is such a man and I am glad to know I can call him when I need help in fixing something that I cannot do myself. Thanks Larry and thank you Angie's list.

I wish I could give Larry a AAA+ for his services. I am really happy with the work he did for me. I thought the biggest job would be the cabinets in my home office but he had those installed and looking perfect in a short amount of time. When he went to install the ceiling fans, we discovered that the fans the original owners had installed were literally hanging on a wing and a prayer. Larry made sure that the new ceiling fans were installed correctly and then installed remotes for each of them. He also replaced some molding around a door and helped me install a custom made bulletin board in my office. I had a couple of other projects that he gave me alternative ideas on to help me save money. Very trustworthy, very fair and I will definitely use him again. You won't go wrong by hiring him.

Larry was on time and very professional. Unfortunately, the quote came back at $75/hour plus materials which is more than I'm willing to pay for drywall repairs.

Larry has a very high standard and professional work ethic which I very much appreciated. He has a positive cheerful personality and is easy to get along with when he is in your house and you are working there as well. He came to my house before the project began and we walked through and talked about general things that needed to be done. He gave me pointers on materials to buy, and links to items I needed to purchase from Lowe's, which made it very easy for me. The initial list we made was modified and added to as we went along and the last day on the project my husband worked along with him and they had a great time and my husband learned a lot from him. He is focused and hard-working on the job, and is very creative and resourceful in his approach to trouble-shooting issues and resolving them. He also purchased items for me after the initial day on the job when he saw what needed to be purchased and bought them early in the day on his way to the appointment at my house. He also took paint samples into the paint store to have paint matched and mixed to the many shades of paint we have. He was easy going about modifying plans if we wanted to do some of the work ourselves, and was very helpful in explaining how to go about doing that. Larry was at my house a total of 3 days when initially he signed up for a day and a half. He was more than willing to come back to complete more items as things kept cropping up, even coming on a Sunday afternoon on Labor Day weekend when we had a deadline to meet. He completed his work neatly and thoroughly and cleaned up after himself. Although I thought his hourly rate was pretty high, he did cut it back a little on the final bill, which was very helpful, and it was well worth the price for the work he did which we could have never completed in the time frame we had without his expert help. I would call him again and would highly recommend his services.
