As a Realtor it is very important to me that the people I refer to my clients and to my friends are professional, knowledgeable, personable and have high ethics. It is a refection on me if I give out that referral. At the top of my list is Larry with Preferred Handyman Services! He goes above and beyond in every way possible. Larry is one of the most ethical people I know and his work is exemplary. If something is not within his realm of expertise or if he feels the job best be handeled in a different way, he will refer you to someone who he feels is better suited for the job. His fee's are resonable and his workmanship is always up to the highest of standards. I myself have used his services many times over the years and everyone of my clients and friends who have hired him have nothing but great reviews.

I have used Larry twice back in 2016 and 2017 and gave him excellent reviews because he does excellent work. I emailed him a couple months ago about replacing my bathroom vanity. One of the very first things he said when he called was "oh, you thought I was expensive". On my first review of him I gave a "C" on price, C = average as far as I know and I thought that was fair since he was more expensive than some I researched (and very few qualified handymen have A prices to me - maybe because I'm not wealthy.) But after that research I CHOSE HIM because of his reviews and qualifications. When I paid him, I NEVER squawked about the price or rolled my eyes - he did a great job installing a new security front door. Then a few months later I chose him AGAIN to install two more security doors and make a pass through door from my carport shed out to the back yard. He made a comment beforehand suggesting maybe I wanted to get some more quotes since I gave him a "C" on price. My reply was that I was very happy with his work and I felt I got what I paid for and was good with that. So when I contact him for THIRD job and the very first thing is a comment on how I think he's expensive, I was a little put off. But I texted him some pictures of the vanity as HE asked and he never responded (I thought maybe he didn't know who sent them but we had just talked about it the day before). I was going to reach out again to him but decided not to. I explained and stood by my original review (which again, was overall an A), not once but twice; I will not defend it again, and if he can't get over that from 2016 after my using him twice then I'd have to give him a "D" on professionalism. I DO recommend his work but beware if you give him anything less than A's all around.

Mr Larry Goldstein met us at our home on time. He was courteous, friendly, extremely knowledgeable and honest.

I cannot recommend Larry Goldstein highly enough. He came on the same day I called, repaired my botched installation and didn't even want to charge me! Insane! I did manage to talk him into taking something. This company will be my go-to outfit for handyman stuff from now on.

Once on site, Larry Goldstein took on an additional task of re-installing a loose bracket on curtain rod of my living room vertical blinds. All work was done in about 90 minutes. Very clean and professional work. Wish I had found this Handyman Service a long time ago. I will hire again!

As always, Larry’s work is the best! He goes above and beyond any set standard by double checking his work, making sure the work is exactly what you want, and cleaning up the area so you can’t tell that he was even there! If there is a standard above professional, then Larry would be there!

Larry did a great job. He was honest, knowledgeable and very neat and meticulous. He helped us through the process of remodeling and made it an easy process. I highly recommend Larry for any tile work! He was responsive to my initial request and follow up email communications and was very patient while my wife and I selected the tile and grout color we wanted (over 3 months). Larry carefully went over different options and gave helpful suggestions. He thoroughly explained process of how to do it in case I wanted to try on my own including the demolition, which he said was fairly straightforward but time consuming, which could save him time and me money! He is also very sociable and made a personal connection and seemed genuinely interested in this relatively small job, which most tile companies would refuse. He was 20 minutes late for the job but let me know he was running late. Overall I was very pleased with the quality of his workmanship, which he completed under budget, and very appreciative of him explaining different options so we got the best product in the end.

I called and the owner talked me through the repair patiently and I was able to turn on electricity by myself (I had tripped the GFCI in the kitchen).

Services performed were done on schedule and with quality workmanship. Normally we try to take care of these items ourselves but time was an issue and the expense was worthwhile. We are happy.

Excellent-both doors have perfect fits and look great. I bought the doors but forgot new hinges; my only suggestion would be to give the customer a checklist ?

Larry showed up with a positive attitude and work ethic. Through previous communication the first priority was to just come in and inspect the target areas to see if we would be able to install there. The first two spots were a definite no go, which is what I expected. We went to spot 3 and we felt we may be able to get it to work. However Larry was a little hesitant based on the size of the door and the spacing between studs. He actually went into great detail regarding some of the work involved but he actually had a great information based on experience with his own dogs regarding the dog doors and I think the door I originally purchased was too big. He then explained exactly what I would need to do to install the door myself. He went so far as to just test the electrical circuit near the area so I would know if there would be a wire somewhere in there. After that he said I could call him anytime if I ran into issues and had questions. While the work I had intended for him was not done, Larry was beyond professional. Everything was explained so even someone with limited experience would know exactly what he was talking about. He treats you very well. You can be sure that he is on my speed dial for the next time I need a handyman for items around the house. I highly recommend him!!!

Called and discussed with Larry. He walked me through what could cause on the phone and I was able to fix myself. Saved time and money. Three days to get electrician and minimum $95.

Larry is without question the most professional, the most organized, the most skilled, the most knowledgeable person I ever met that can do such a wide variety of technical jobs providing the best results in every situation. During the time he works, he maintains the most pleasant bearing and is never bothered by someone asking questions about what he is doing. He is without a doubt the best handyman in Phoenix if not in Arizona!
