First I was most impressed with the office staff who called me back within 24 hrs of my web inquiry. I believe I spoke with a Rebecca? She was very personable in providing an estimate and setting up our appointment within a few days. Kim called me the day before the appointment to confirm and then the technician, Hector, called once he arrived (I was not at the home at the time) and to confirm the estimate and work to be performed. We returned later to check on the results and all the carpets look clean and the repair patch looks very nice and hides the gap in the flooring where the wall was taken down. We are happy with the results.

So glad to find this wonderful group! They came out quickly--same day! I had them assess the carpet first to make sure they would be able to re-install without a problem since the stairway carpet flows into a very large upstairs area of the same carpeting. I also asked them to measure in case I need to replace all the carpeting as it is quite dirty. These guys are so above-board, they did NOT try to sell me new carpeting and assured me this would all clean beautifully. I will have them back to clean it all after I get passed an upcoming event. So very very pleased!

Our dog had tried to dig her way out of one of the bedrooms, tearing up the carpet area under the door. After chastising my Boys for locking her in their room I was hesitant to call and get the repair done. I thought that the price was going to be exorbitant and, though I had a remnant left over from the original installation, I didn't think it would match. This along with the fact that everyone claims to be good, yet never living up to it, I thought the work would be shoddy as well... After joining Angie's List I finally decided to look and see if I could find someone. Phoenix Carpet Repair & Cleaning had high ratings and some very good feedback. In as much I sent them a message, through Angie's List, and followed up with a voice-mail. It was after hours and didn't expect a callback until late the next day. Bright and early this morning I got a call from their office and we came to an agreement on timing and what the price was going to be. I was given a 2 hour window and was told that the service person would call me prior to his arrival. I got a call and was told that they were on their way and would be there in 30 minutes, which would place them in the center of my time window. Rob & Joey showed up, right on the time that they had stated, and looked at the work that needed to be done. Both were dressed professionally and that's the way they conducted themselves the entire time! The repair was completed and I couldn't be happier! Both of these Gentlemen were a credit to Phoenix Carpet Repair's organization and I would recommend ANYONE that needed their services to NOT hesitate! I just couldn't be happier with Phoenix Carpet Repair and Cleaning and Angie's List!

On time, courteous, professional, very tidy and careful of our stuff. Had good advice and comments, obviously well trained. He cleaned carpet that was cleaned by Zero Rez a few months ago, and did a much better job. We recommend the technician, Jason Hundley, with our reservation.

Everything went very smoothly from the first call to their office, estimate, appointment, services and follow up. Workers were all very professional, efficient, friendly and customer oriented. Work was excellent. And very pleased with outcome.

It went very well. When we called the company initially, our call was responded to immediately, and we were given an appointment within a very few days of the call. When the technician arrived he was on time, was very knowledgeable and capable. He had all repairs done in a very short period of time, was very professional and courteous. We would definitely hire this company again without a hesitation.

The end result was a good, professional job. And all communication and responses were timely. However there were significant glitches: In spite of repeated instructions to the person on the phone regarding the nature of the job, and my insistence that a top-notch repair person was needed because it was a very high quality carpet installation (expensive carpet and surroundings), the first repairman that arrived looked at the job and admitted he felt he was not up to it. This was because of the quality of the carpet and the quality of wood paneling that he would have to be careful of. I do give him credit for not proceeding when he felt challenged and give him and the company credit for then recalling him and arranging to send their top, most experienced repairman. However, that is what I had insisted on in the first place so my time was wasted. And then in spite of my initial communications on the phone that two different sized tack strips - one about two inches or more in width, the other a more conventional size - were needed, and that the installation was on a concrete floor - when the top repairman arrived, he did not have the two sizes needed and instead decided to put down two conventional tack strips side by side. This - to me - was extra work and prone to more problems. My belief is - and I observed this when I removed the original tack strips initially - that there are wider tack strips of a "commercial" width. Also, when I was on the phone initially, the girl told me (and a man in the background confirmed) that there were such commercial tack strips and they were about two inches wide and they would be sure to have both. Yet the repairman did not have them. Next - again in my communication initially on the phone, I emphasized this was an old installation, on concrete, and I asked how the tack strips would be put down. She responded that they are nailed into the concrete. I asked if there was another way because often the concrete chips away and the nail does not hold. She - again with discussions with someone in the background - insisted they would be able to get them to hold. So again - in spite of all of the prior communication - and in spite of the top repairman being there (and I don't dispute his expertise and qualifications - he was very good), nailing into the concrete turned out to be a disaster. Nails bent, concrete chipped away to the point that tack strips would not hold, and having to put in two side by side soon became an impossible task. I began asking about adhesives instead. The response was that liquid nails would work but that would require allowing it to cure and coming back again - something the company didn't want to do based on the quote they gave me. But when it became apparent that nailing was impossible - then the repairman announced there was a "Durabond" product that would work as it would set up in 15 - 30 minutes sufficient to hold for stretching and holding the carpet and would cure overnight. I researched this over the internet on my Smartphone and agreed it sounded as if it should work. With no other solution - I agreed. However the company wanted an increase of 50% over their original quote - which I agreed to since I saw how difficult the job was turning out to be. The worker - Rod - did an admirable job considering the difficulties encountered. My problem with the whole encounter is I tried to bring out all of the issues and concerns in my original communications and was assured a very qualified repairman would show up, that he would have the required multiple tack strip widths, and that nailing in concrete would be no problem and I was given a quote for the job. And by the way - I had told the girl initially that the carpet was in a rectangular room 15 ft by 20 ft and the entire periphery needed to be repaired. Yet when the repairmen showed up - both of them - they said they thought it was only one side of the room or just 35 ft in length and then said they should have given me a bigger quote because it was really 70' for the entire periphery. The result turned out good and I would probably use them again, but I would advise getting things down very clearly - in writing - and holding them to their quote,

definitely needed stretching. Technician did a great job and knew a lot about carpets. After the stretching and cleaning we noted the next day that two spots had come up that were not there before. Called office and they came out that day to treat the two spots which totally went away. Probably get another three-four years out of the carpet before it has to be replaced. Very responsive and professional. Small business. Were able to refer us to movers who came in and moved the furniture out and back in after the carpet dried. Moves did a great job.

It went great. Fixed several spots for repair. Added new tack strip and stretched 4 rooms of carpet.

I called based on Angie's list reviews and I wasn't disappointed. Kim, their appointment scheduler was pleasant and professional. The appointment offered was convenient and quick. The technician called to reconfirm on route, arrived on time finished in one hour. He left coupons for future use and a free bottle of spot treatment. The work was excellent, using a machine power stretcher instead of the less efficient kick stretcher. We will use them again soon.

He arrived early (after calling) and was very professional and competent. He repaired both areas for less than quoted on the phone. I would definitely use them again and recommend them highly.

Robert is very passionate about carpet. He did a great job getting my carpet ordered and installed within our very limited timeline.

The young men arrived on time and quickly surveyed my situation and began work. One person supervised (and did some education or a newer repair person), but the whole job was handled professionally and expeditiously!

We had to have the carpet in a back bedroom pulled back to bore in the concrete slab and treat for termites. We phoned Phoenix Carpet Repair & Cleaning on 10/04/2013, described the problem to them, received an estimated price, and scheduled them to re-tack and stretch the carpet. Also included in the estimate was to stretch the carpet on one side in the front room. They emailed us a confirmation of the appointment. The repair was scheduled for 10/08/2013 between 12:00pm and 3:00pm. At 12:00pm, the installer called and said he would be at our house in 30 minutes. He was prompt, courteous, and completed the job quickly. The price was as quoted and we are very pleased with the work. We would certainly recommend them.

We had new carpet installed throughout our house last month. When that was done, we realized that our area rugs were very much in need of cleaning! I made a few calls and came across Robert at Phoenix Carpet Cleaning/Repair (also dba Arizona Carpet Cleaning/Repair). Never having had this type of service before, I wasn't even sure what to ask. Robert very patiently answered all my questions and gave me all the information I needed to make my decision. Once we decided to go with Robert and Phoenix Carpet, I called and he was picking up our rugs the next day, 8/2/2013. The rugs were returned yesterday, 8/20/2013, with a turnaround time of 2.5 weeks. They look absolutely beautiful. I would not hesitate to recommend them to any of my family or friends.

Chad arrived a little late, but he did call as he was stuck in traffic. He measured everything and went over with me how he was going to do the repair. The entire process could not have gone better. The corner of my carpeting in the bedroom that had been chewed by my new puppy now looks like it is brand new. Chad also cleaned my wall to wall carpeting and area rug. They all look great. Although their price was just a little higher than some other estimates I got, it was well worth it. Chad used all "green" products which was important to me. I would use this company again in a heart beat and highly recommend them if you are in need of a carpet repair and/or cleaning.

I called Phoenix Carpeting and Repair today. I spoke with Robert who informed me that it would be no big deal to fix and that he could send someone out today. He showed up promptly and got right to work. He as able to fix the area without complication and was finished in about 15 minutes. He even left me with some solution for a stubborn stain near the area. Overall I think the price was fair, but didn't invest a lot of time price-shopping.

I had just had the carpet cleaned by another professional. Since all the furniture was out of the rooms I took advantage and had them stretch my carpet before furniture was moved back in. They were able to stretch out all of the ripples and remove one and a half to two inches of extra carpet in both directions. My technician was extremely professional, knowledgeable and respectful of my home.

Impressed with this company's courteousness, responsiveness and quality from the minute I called for an estimate until the completion of the job!

They were very knowledgeable and conscientious. They really did a great job. I was shocked. It looks like it was never torn. I was very pleased with them overall. I would hire them again in a heartbeat. Their pricing was also fair and I was very happy with it.

We called Phoenix Carpet Repair & Cleaning to stretch and repair our carpet. They were very professional and did a good job stretching and repairing the carpet.

It was okay. The price was a little high but they patched it. Now, the patch had not helped since then so we had to have it done again, but I do not know if that was necessarily their fault. They charged $250 for a tiny patch. I was not here when they did the job but my husband was. They were good with punctuality. They showed up when they said they would.
