Description of Work: They cleaned out and did a camera run on my main sewer line...did a good job.

Description of Work: I am on a contract with them for twice yearly inspections. Each time they thoroughly check the compressor and exchanger in the attic. This time I had an overflow shut off installed as well as the inspection. The service man explained every test.

Description of Work: They installed a new high rise Kohler toilet, a new kitchen faucet and a new garbage disposal, all of which I had purchased from Lowes prior to the visit. The work was all done in less than three hours, but the technician left for hours twice, so he was "on the books" for all of that time. I complained about the cost but was told those were standard fees for the jobs performed. That night, the toilet began to leak and twice techs returned and tried to stop the leak, finally telling me that the toilet was defective and needed to be replaced. I called my son, a police officer, who came over and installed another was ring. It has not leaked since. I made several calls to this company to dispute my charge and service but they did not return my calls. I have warned everyone I know not to use this company.

Description of Work: I own a commercial Laundromat and needed a hot water valve replaced. Rather than shutting down the water to the entire Laundromat, Chad, was able to shut-down the hot water by the hot water heaters and it did not take him more than 20 minutes to repair! Description of Work: After being "taken" by another repair service, Parker and Sons came in and fixed the issue we had to call on several times. They were very honest about what needed to be and what was still covered under the warranty.

Description of Work: I had this company install a toilet I had purchased from Home Depot, still in carton, install a new kitchen sink and garbage disposal in one day- all new in cartons purchased at Home Depot. The technician left several times for a few hours and charged me $1500 for the INSTALLATION! I thought I was signing for $500 dollars, but it was $1500!!!! I am a senior citizen, and he could not have been in my home over 3 hours. That night, the toilet began to leak onto my floor - they sent 2 different technicians out an the following 2 days, they could not fix it. Then finally told me that the toilet might have been broken at the factory! Finally my son, a police officer, came over and added a new wax ring and it is fine. The company would not return my phone calls or answer my letters of complaint. I tell everyone I can to stay away from PARKER!!!!! I was definately cheated!

Description of Work: I have used Parker and Sons for Heating and Air Conditioning for a few years and have had wonderful service.........However, every trip includes at one up sale try. As I made the appointment for my last HVAC appt they told me of a water heater special the plumbing division was having. I bit, they did the work, but the next day I had no hot water. I called and a serviceman came and 1) first informed me that there was a minimum charge and 2) challenged me that I might have turned off the water heater (that was all that was wrong). He suggested that I could not prove his associate had turned off the water heater and therefore, I should pay. I am a pretty easy going guy, but I was enraged at the allegation and the suggestion that it might not have been their fault. Needless to say, this will be my last Parker and Sons Plumbing encounter. Description of Work: So, we have an extremely simple plumbing issue. I know that the guy will spend less than 5 minutes inside our home, and we are right. But, the guy says it's a set price for a defined problem. Five minutes is $200. After chewing on that for a day, I realize, ok, so a set price to do a defined problem, so I call them back and ask what is their set price to fix problem B. They refuse to give me a price to fix a problem. So, after you are stuck with the paying the show up fee then they say "it''s a set price for a set job" (which works out to well over $1,000 per hour), but if you ask what their set price is to do a job they refuse to give that.

Description of Work: They came to service the AC and preform necessary maintenance. They are very good and thorough. They are very prompt, professional, and efficient. We use them for an array of projects. I have used them for five years now.

Description of Work: They need to better train the persons that schedule appointments. They called me for a service appointment and after three attempts to get it straight on three different days the still had it wrong. We will see what happens on their fourth attempt to get the service call straight. their service personnel are very good but the office surely needs help
