It went just fine. We would recommend them.

I called them and I had taken a day off to go and meet the guy. The guy’s name was Jeff. He was out here for 30-45 minutes. After that, he came and said that he couldn’t determine what was going wrong. I was thinking that I have a serious plumbing problem. They charged for the service call. The guy did not figure out what was going wrong with it and I wasted a lot of time. My friend recommended them and she thought if I brought a commercial plumber, they would be able to find out where the problem was. I was irritated that the guy couldn't determine the problem. I guess most of the plumbers carry snakes with them. They can't understand unless they try to run the snakes through that. They were pretty good. They showed up on time. They have windows to show up. He was polite and basically doing his job. He wasn't rude to me.

I purchased a service plan with Parker and Sons. They come twice a year to service the unit for summer and winter. Always professional and on time. I have some reservation around one incident that occurred. After a few weeks from the summer service visit, one of our units stopped working. The service technician that came to the house said it needed a new compressor. We had recently purchased our home so we had a home warranty that the realtor had purchased. I called them to have them look at the unit. They indicated that it was an electrical issue and that a fuse had malfunctioned. Once it was replaced the A/C unit ran all summer with no more issues. So again, not sure what happened there, but my trust is just a little diminished. I would probably question and watch their recommendations going forward.

They were on time. The were curtious. They could improve on nothing. They were quit friendly.

It went well and will use them again. I have usued them twice. My experience with their techs have been positive each time.

They were courteous, nice, and punctual. So far the workmanship has been fine and I have nothing negative to report on their services. I'm confident in their knowledge and I like them enough to recommend them to others.

Basically I had nothing but a good experience with them. Their sales person Rich E. came and gave me a couple different prices on different units. I informed him that at that time I was still looking around. Another company came in and did a Manual J. calculation required for the APS rebate and determined my downstairs unit (the one I was replacing) was too big for what I needed and provided me with a bid much lower than what Parker and sons had done, keep in mind it was for a smaller unit. Well I called rich and he wasn't so sure the calculation was correct so he asked to come out and do it himself also. Well basically he agreed that the unit was too big and gave me new pricing. He not only met the other companies bid for a 15 seer unit but threw in some extra's to earn our business, new return grates, upgraded thermostat, and some duct work that would have costed us extra otherwise. The techs that came out arrived right on time and pretty much kept me informed of their progress the whole install. They went over everything and ensured it worked walked me through the house and ensured the sytem worked. They were very clean in their work and cleaned up any mess they made. Overall I plan on using them again when my upstairs unit dies on me.

This has been probably the most positive experience we have had with a contractor. They were professional, did a great job, communicated well, have followed up promptly. Just great.

They were prompt, professional and cleaned up after the job was completed. The new A/C inits and thermo-stats are great. The crew took the time to answer my questions and showed me how to program the new thermo-stats. I would use them for A/C and plumbing needs again in the future.

We were out of town over the Labor Day weekend, when our pet sitter, Sitting Pretty Pet Sitters (who is fabulous), let us know our AC was out. We called practically every company we could find, but most did not call us back. We actually got ahold of Parker & Sons, and they were very polite and responsive. We had three animals inside, and could not let this problem go until we got back. The company came out, our pet sitter let them in, they estimated the work reasonably and got the job done while we were away for a very (too??) reasonable a price. Unfortunately, the air went out again the next day after we had returned. They promptly came back out and got the job fixed. The price the first Parker & Son's employee quoted us for replacing the compressor was higher than it was ultimately installed for, but we had to point out that the price was exhorbitant. The company quickly realized the employee's error and corrected the problem. It is now October and we have had no more breackdowns. We would definitely use them again, but you do want to keep an eye on the price quotes.

We've been customers of Parker & Sons since moving to Px in 1997. They were recommended by a family member who had worked with Parker & Sons previously and I would certainly recommend them to anyone else. We recently had a new water heater and whole house water softener installed by Parker. Their work, work attitude and abilities were top-notch. While doing the installation a potential problem was discovered. We approved the additional work and it was fixed right away. Since then we have had occasion to use the new shut off (the additional work) and it works perfectly. They were very professional and friendly. They were careful in moving things out of the way of their work area and cleaned up after finishing the job. Previously we had our AC units replaced. Again, Parker replaced the old units and while doing the work noticed a problem in the original AC installation that was costing us more in our electric bill and that the new units being installed properly should correct that problem. We've been nothing but very pleased with this work. We have a maintenance contract with Parker and they contact us when its time for our bi-annual check-up. They are always on time and their work is done as promised. Along with maintenance, the contract entitles us to various discounts on parts and labor. I wish there were more professionals in the valley like Parker & Sons. Anytime we need plumbing, heating and AC service, the only company we will call will be Parker & Sons.

They were very professional and accommodating. They did a great job.

This is a used home we purchased over the internet from our home in Houston. From the inspection report provided before closing, it showed we had a few minor plumbing issues that needed to be repaired. I contacted Parker & Sons via the internet after a recommendation from one of my wife's relatives in Gilbert. AZ. We planned for Parker to be at our place on October 10 to review what we needed repaired, and went right to work. Repairs were completed quickly and professionally. I will be needing some additional cosmetic plumbing installed when we return to Arizona in February 2012, and Parker will be the guys I call.

After talking to a neighbor about the ridiculous quote, she told me of another company she uses. I called Roadrunner on Sunday and he came out - no additional charge. The Blower Motor and cap did not need to be replaced and the Control Board was the only thing needed to be replaced. He even put in a NON Lennox board . Total price including labor $378.14

Called them at 7:15 at night, technician arrived and fixed unit by 9:00 pm. I'm really impressed with the speed at which they responded. I'm not sure what a fair price is for the parts and labor. Some of the reports on Angie's list indicate that Parker & Sons charge more than others. That may be true, but consider that they had the part on the truck, they didn't charge extra for coming at night, the unit was fixed quickly, and the house is almost cooled back to normal in a short time. Obviously I appreciate that they didn't have to go somewhere else to get a part and spend more time, and that is worth a something. It would have been distressful to sleep without AC (current outside temp is 104F, at 10pm). I guess what I'm trying to say is that if it did cost a little more, it was worth spending the money to have the unit working again within a very short time. This is the third time I've used Parker and Sons (once for a variety of plumbing issues and now twice for the AC/Heat pump), and each time they have responded fairly quickly, with knowledgeable technicians and have had the needed parts on the truck. I would recommend them. The also have been very considerate of pets. The techs are professional in that they are polite, they have cleaned up after they are done, and don't track dirt into the house. Plus they patiently explain what they are doing.

At the end of the free inspection, the technician provided a list of items he felt should be repaired and the prices for each, including a few items I wanted repaired. His prices were so outrageous and so beyond reason that I told him I would never obtain plumbing services from Parker & Sons. I have used them several times for my semi-annual A/C checks and was satisfied with the work, but always felt the technician was trying to "up-sell" me additional services. This always made me leery of them. To install a company-supplied kitchen faucet, the technician requested $625.00. If I were to supply the faucet, the charge would be $235.00. To supply and install a new refrigerator filter would have cost $195.00. I feel these quotes were exorbitant and that there must be an honest, reliable and reasonable plumber in Phoenix who would provide these services for much less.

The tech, gave me a tight time window and showed up within that time. He was very professional and helpful. He performed the checks and service on the system. I was charged for a "tune-up" and not told I needed parts or services that I did not need. I will use the company again in the future for yearly checks.

The 3 year old air conditioner was blowing hot, humid air. This ac was purchased solely for the room we had built out of the garage. We actually have two units - one for the main house and one for the spare room. We called Parker and Sons who came out right away - thank you. Rick diagnosed the problem as a bad fan motor. I questioned that because the fan had been continually running but only warm, humid air was coming out. He charged quite a sume to fix this.Today the air conditioner ran warm humid air and ran all day because we keep theroom at 68 degrees and it would not go below 70. This was the original problem and continues. I called Rick and told him it was not fixed. He explained we should not be running the unit at 68 and no professional in the valley would agree something was wrong if the room was not cooling to that temp because it's hot outside. I explained to him I have lived her some time and have had the temp at 68 over the last 10 years. He disagreed. I also explained that what I set the thermostat at was not relevant to the problem that the unit was not working. He started arguing with me again and told him thank you for his time but this was a waste of mine and said good bye.

They're a little on the expensive side, but they definitely know what they're doing. I've used them in the past and had great experiences.

The service was ok. I thought, however, the price was high. They made the repair in about 15 minutes and charged me $350, which included the replacement of the valve.

I think Parker and Son should have a rate schedule that they can quote over the phone to give the consumer some idea of the cost before they come out.

I applied for a service time on line and did not hear back from them so called the next day. They said they had not gotten notice...ooops! first error. They did send someone out that evening and he did replace the blower motor. It worked....too well...Would not shut off. Called at 11pm and they would have come outbut I had to get up at 5am!!!. He came out the next morning and fixed it. It was a bit noisy but thought it would improve....ooops, second. Suncay evening it started to get very loud. Knocking. I called and said it wasn't quite right yet. THEN it started screatching!!!!! We turned it off and they cam out to fix it. again...The collar holding the part onto the A/C had broken. He replaced it and it now seems to be working ok. Very irritating and they were very sorry but sorry don't cut it!!!

We really like them, they are really reliable. There was a time we came back from vacation and our hot water heater wasn't working. We thought the hot water heater had gone, but the employee came out and said that some calcium built up on the thermostat thing and all we had to do was run it and it would be fine. He didn't even charge me for that trip, he said it was no problem. They don't try to over sell you. We've also had problems with faucets and apparently our faucets have lifetime guarantees. He said he would fix it for us or we could just call the company and they'll send the new one and we can fix it ourselves for free. There aren't a lot of companies that will do that but they do. I think the price is fair.
