I feel bad I am late on this review because the guy who came out did a great job and refused an extra payment on the $39 big deal. He knew what he was doing, was pleasant and easy to work with and was fast. While I ran to Lowe's to pick up a park, he inspected some other areas around our house. We got more than we paid for, and that felt good.

They were very punctual. They gave me a 2 hour window, but we're here first thing in the morning. First thing he did was flush the water heater and let me know about the advantages of a tankless heater. He then came into the house and inspected all of the faucets and toilets and let me know if there was any concerns that he had with the condition of these fixtures. He was very thorough, an professional. I would use them again.

Anthony in training and Tony a field supervisor arrived between 10 and 2 as scheduled. Both were very personable and wore shoe coverings while in the house. We recently purchased this home and I had a few concerns about the A/C system. They checked everything thoroughly and recommended a run capacitor for the outside unit and expansion of the return-air duct. They also recommended a water leak detection alarm for the interior drip pan. The initial estimate for replacing the capacitor was $219.00 which I balked at and showed them that the exact part was being sold on GOOGLE for $8.00. Installation takes 3 minutes or less. They then revised the estimate to a lower price as they thought the part might be under warranty. I decided against replacing the capacitor until my brother visits in a few weeks. He is a commercial refrigeration contractor in another state. We discussed the cost of the capacitor and replacement. He stated they should have done it for $69.00 or less as they were already there on a service call and they buy the capacitors in bulk for less than $8.00 each. Even so I tipped Anthony for his service and realized that they were subject to what their companies policies are. It does make me feel concerned for older persons or those on fixed incomes who are charged $219.00 for a 5 minute diagnostic and installation of an $8.00 part.

Everything went well. He was on time, was professional, and did the job for which I paid as well as inspected all plumbing. He did notice a slight leak in my faucet but that would have been an extra cost so I will try and fix that myself but everything went well.

Very pleased with work that was performed.

First, I got an e-mail saying the plumber would be at my house between 30-60 minutes; really appreciated the notice. Plumbers were on time. They drained the water heater quickly and cleanly. In addition, they did a quick fix on the kitchen faucet, and fixed a leaking shower head, and put a new cap on the water heater--all at no additional cost. They checked all toilets, showers/tubs, faucets, and the water pressure as well. Made recommendations in writing about cost of water pressure regulator and new water heater (mine is 20 yrs old). I didn't feel I was pressured in any way to buy items from them--just informed about options. Totally professional. They'll be my choice for future work.

It was not good. Parker and Sons, I used before I enrolled with Angie's List. I didn't have a good experience with them. I'll never call them back again. The technician came out at Sunday midnight and told me that I needed a new fan motor. I told them that that's fine. They said it would cost almost $500 and I said that it's fine. I told them to go ahead and leave me the bad motor. That's when the story changed entirely. He told me that he would get back to me. He left and I never got a return call from them. I called a different company and on Monday morning, they came out to fix it for about $85. It was a wiring problem basically.

They did fine. It was a good deal for $38 but they tried to sell me everything in the book, but that is normal. They were very professional and very friendly. They didn't leave any mess. They put boots on their shoes when they came into the house. They were very respectful. I had to change the appointment and they were very accommodating with that. They were right on time.

Ok, But they always try to sell you complete units of $5000 when a repair will do.

This company did a great job. I would recommend their work.

System is checked twice a year to make sure it is operating correctly and any maintenance needed is done. I use their annual contract paid monthly. Very satisfied with their work. They are responsive and punctual when they say they will be here.

Troy showed up promptly after calling to let me know he was 15 min away. Checked the inside unit then went outside. When he finished he had me come outside to show me what he did and potential issues. One reason why I have come to really appreciate Parker and Sons is that they take the time to go over the 2 page sheet they fill in when working on the unit. Troy showed me what the numbers were, what it had and what I should have. He even showed me where on the unit he got them. We discussed my options as to what I needed to do and even suggested I look around....other than Parker and Sons. I've had other companies do a checkup, but all they ever did was say it was ok and give me a receipt. Now I am used to getting an in depth report so there are no questions as to what should be done. I've been a customer for 4 years and will continue to do so. It's obvious to me why they are the installer for Costco as Costco demands the best. Technician showed up on time and even called ahead to let us know he was on his way. He performed the services as described. He inspected our plumbing, tightened valves that had been making noise and serviced our water heater. He was honest and told us that our water heater was in good shape and had at least a couple years of life left on it. I appreciated that he didn't try to upsell us on items or services we did not need. Definitely recommend!

The company sent a gentleman by the name of Chad to do my plumbing both times. I couldn't have been happier with the service, his punctuality and professionalism. He didn't try to pressure me to spend a lot of extra money while he was there. However, he did mention if I chose to do anything that it would be wise to change my existing plastic nut supply lines on my toilets and change them to a metal nut for safety reasons. He said he could come back the following week. Sure enough in the newspaper last Saturday I read how important it is to have metal nuts instead of plastic, so it further added trust to my decision to go ahead and have the work done. Chad put on booties before he came into my home each time. I will definitely call him in the future if I have any plumbing issues. Thank you for introducing me to this company.

It went very well. I did have one sink that was slow to empty but since the payment I paid did not include additional fixing, I left it for now. Also I did not want the plumber to test the valves for the toilets because he said they may leak after turning them and I figured I am not having any issues or problems with any toilet valves so why rock the boat and start a problem so I did not have him test those.

$39 was a special, introductory deal. Staff member on phone was helpful and friendly. Technician arrived next day, on time. Very friendly, helpful. But toilet still leaked after he left; it was better but.... I called office and woman said, no question, she would simply send technician back for free. He arrived next day, replaced one part and toilet stopped leaking. Even though original price was only the very reduced $39, they returned promptly, replaced part and were very friendly... for no extra charge.

Complete Ripoff. I bought the $38 water heater flush + plumbing inspection deal on Angie's list. The deal promises "a comprehensive plumbing inspection", including Checking water pressure, Checking that all faucets are operating properly, Dye-testing all toilets, electronically testing for leaks, flushing water-heater tank, etc... NONE of this was done. The plumber merely drained my water heater tank, and eyeballed a couple of exterior pipes that weren't secured on my house. He was there for 20 minutes at most. I cannot recommend this company or this deal. You do not get what you pay for.

More time spent on writing results and selling more services than actual maintenance.

Left online message for quote and was called backed within 2 hours. She said they did not give prices over the phone but could send someone out that afternoon for a free estimate. He arrived within the two hour window and gave me an estimate that I considered to be extremely high. He then said if it did not take too long he could drop the price about a third. That was still too expensive and he said okay. He was nice the entire time and did not try to pressure me into using him to do the job.

They did the work as advertised which was helpful and thankful. I used the two hour service. They did what was advertised. They did exactly what they said they were going to do. I liked the price and I liked the fact that they didn't charge me for a service call, just for the service they did. I would use them again for some specific things.

It was fantastic. It went very well, very well done. I was satisfied. They are prompt, they are polite, and they work well.
