The service man that came out was Tony. Tony was very nice and was very knowledgeable. He was very talkative. He would look at the problem quickly and not double check the things he was looking at. He looked at two toilets and said one was fine. Our kitchen sink was leaking at the time. He said he needed it to take it apart to find out what the problem was. He had to go out and buy the part and it was more expensive than what he had quoted.The time it took for him to look at the toilets and fix the sink were less than an hour. We called back to find out how the rates per hour were and Lisa explained these to us. The rates were not explained on Angie's List for the Big Deal. We were thinking that it would have been about 2 hours worth of work. They wanted to charge us more on top of the deal that we bought. So I called Lisa back for an explanation of the extra charges. She said that the parts and the time for the sink were extra because usually, a job to fix the sink, was normally $120.00 alone. They offered to come back and recheck the toilet since it was not yet fixed and flush of the water heater for no charge. They didn't explain when the water heater is older than 20 years and has never been flushed, it shouldn't be flushed. After they flush our water heater, it is now not broken. We called another company to come out an look at our water heater and they came out and said that the flush done by the previous company caused the water heater to become blocked and backed up. The other toilet was also looked at by the new company, and found the true problem with the toilet that was missed by the other company. The new company fixed the toilet for us instead of us calling the old company to come back to service it. So now were are out of 320.00 and also have to replace our water heater since the flush from this company damaged our water heater. When we first called the 1800 then they directed us to a Ram plumbing company.

I had a Koehler faucet that was leaking and under warranty. The manufacturer sent me a new one. Parker and Sons only had to install the faucet and he quoted me $400.00. I basically asked him to leave. He left and the next day I talked with a neighbor and got the number for a Handyman. The handyman came right away and was in and out of my house within 7 minutes and only charged me $75.00 as opposed to $400 that was quoted by Parker and Sons.

It was a simple job, and I was satisfied.

They came out to look at it, but I need a different type of service that what they provide. They were helpful and responsive.

I purchased the $99 deal for $200 of plumbing work because I had three leaky faucets and wanted to get an estimate on replacing two sink stoppers and their collar assemblies, which have corroded due to cleaning solutions. The tech arrived on time and I showed him the three faucets and two sink drains. He reached under the sink to turn off the water on one of the leaky faucets and the valve snapped off. He did use a rebuild kit to fix the faucet in another bath, telling me he would not charge me for it since he broke the water valve in the master bath. I was charged an additional $39 for the work that was done, though he wasn't here longer than an hour and said that he didn't charge me for the rebuild kit. I asked for an estimate to repair the other two dripping faucets and replace the two sink drains (stopper and collar - with me supplying the parts) and repair the broken water valve, but over $500 is out of my ballpark. The tech was courteous and left a written estimate for the work and explained the warranty on the one leaky faucet he did repair. I'm left with no cold water in my bathroom sink, so I'm not very happy about that.

The team of two men arrived promptly, were very courteous and did the hot water tank efficiently and quickly. Very professional conduct and respect for our home. Advised me on location of plumbing clean out access.

Travis worked quickly and did everything within 45 min.. The problem in the bathroom (bathtub) was not within his realm of experience so he said he would consult with his boss, currently out of town, and get back to me on what might be done to fix my problem. He said he's also ask him about the hammering in my pipes which happens when a toilet is flushed or the drip irrigation is on. It is now Sept. 11th and I've never heard from him. I'm considering having the water pressure valve removed but the psi is then 90 to 100 in my home vs. the "normal" 60.

He came out immediately to check the toilets. We ended up having him replace two toilets. The service was good.

They had to install 3 hot water heaters in a period of 4 years. They did warranty the hot water heaters but charged me for the install each time. I would expect a hot water heater that was professionally installed to not need to be replace so often.

The gentlemen that came out was on time and professional. When he arrived, he quickly got to work and efficiently and cleanly removed the old toilet and replaced it with a new toilet. He was a pleasure to work with. The finished product looked beautiful!

Awesome. It went really well. Called me to let me know he was stuck in traffic and would be 10 minutes late. He did a walk through with me and made a list of what needed to be done. He was here for a good 6 1/2 hours and did everything. We did a walk through when he was done. It was great!

They seemed more interested in selling than fixing.

Outstanding service! Called Parker and Sons at 9:15 AM. AC was repaired at 11:45 AM. And at a reasonable price. Kudos to Justin C. the service technician. All this happened on a Sunday, during a holiday weekend!

Very professional, on time and did his job. Also very pleasant and explained everything.

Was a clean and camera deal on angies list. In the end was a clean out. they told me they could not video my drain to my shower, couldn't refund the angies list deal. So they arrived snaked my shower drain, advised to buy bioclean to reduce the smell, assumed from pea trap. Was going to video my sewer line, instead of to the city main, the other direction, was never done.

Company was prompt & did a good job. Explained everything well & thorough as well as cleaned up afterwards.

Technician was very professional, timely, knowledgeable.

WOW - Travis was awesome, very knowledgeable and great at explaining complicated stuff (...and so honest his boss might be mad at him right now!) He recognized right away that there were some unexpected issues with flushing my particular water heater - because it is of unknown age and outdated design, and because I had no idea what its past maintenance had been by the previous owner - which could have meant so much scale inside that it would wreak havoc with my plumbing just from trying to flush it. He took the time to explain the potential pitfalls of doing the "simple flush" I'd wanted to have done, so I could make a truly informed decision about whether to proceed with the planned service. It turned out I might easily end up having to buy a whole NEW water heater (NOT in my budget right now!) if he tried to flush it and encountered some of the potential difficulties he had identified. And replacing it would have additional issues (besides the cost!) because my townhouse is in an old community, and all the water heaters are in SMALL second floor closets...all in all, a major undertaking. Even if the water heater survived the flushing, I would have to replace at least one part because of the old design, so the cost would be more than the $39 special right off the bat. I decided to err on the side of conservatism, and skip the water heater flush. *** Here's why I'm now this plumber's customer for life: Needless to say, Travis could have kept his mouth shut and just begun the process of doing the flush - of course, encountering "extras" along the way that he could then charge me for because I would have had no choice but to have him do them... up to and including replacing the water heater entirely, if it turned out that way! It could have meant a huge invoice for his company, but a financial disaster for me! Plus however many additional hours everything would have taken, disrupting my workday even more. I am really grateful for how Travis handled the whole situation with such absolute integrity. Even better - when I decided not to have him do the service originally contracted for, Travis asked if there was anything else I needed done that he could do since I'd already paid the $39 through Angie's List. I thought that was incredibly nice of him, since he'd already been here quite a while, taking the time to educate me and patiently answer all my questions! As luck would have it, I actually needed a new flap on one of my toilets, so he switched my service call to the other $39 special they were offering - perfect! So I now have a working toilet, and I am much more knowledgeable and prepared for what lies ahead with the water heater. Will start saving up NOW for a new one - for that "rainy day" in the future when it eventually gives up the ghost. I will also definitely call his company and ask for Travis when I'm ready to do several other plumbing-related home improvement projects that I'm planning for the near future. THANK YOU Travis (and Angie's List!), for helping a naive and potentially vulnerable customer find a great plumber I can trust!!

EXCELLENT: John and Jose (trainee) were professional and very thorough! I remember John from a previous service years ago and his outstanding service hasn't changed one bit! This company is top-notch, from Lisa, the office manager, to their trainees! Highly recommended!

Everything was fine. They came on time. They did what they were supposed to do.

They were great. They were here when they said they would be and they did their job. I'm going to have them come back and give me an estiamte on some more work I need done. Putting a camera down the sewer lines is the best way to see if there are any root problems. They said there were none.

My tenant wanted the service done before they contacted me. I had to cancel the deal through email. They responded quickly and said I would have to ask for a refund through Angie's list.

Everything turned out OK and everything was basically positive. One thing that was odd is he used a coat hanger to unclog something in the toilet and I thought they would have had a special tool for this.

Roger arrived on time. I HATE waiting for a contractor, especially the "4-hour window" crap. This plumber made an appointment for exactly 8:00 a.m.-- no "window". I received a text message at 7:30 a.m. saying he was on his way. He arrived by 8:00 and was out of my house by 8:15 a.m. I was told the work has a 120 day guarantee.

Water heater flushed. Estimates for other items that I may need taken care of.
