the service person was very fast and efficient I'd call them again.

I'm always pleased with Parker & Sons. They are always punctual and thorough. I think their prices are reasonable and they don't try to tell me that there are other things broken when they are not!

I guess the serviceman did what he thought needed to be done but he didn't do the service that I paid for which was rodding w/ camera.

They were good and very responsive. They did a good job. They came out promptly when I scheduled with them. They came when they were supposed to and I don’t remember the exact date. They guarantee their work and offer a 3 year warranty on their work. They are very professional.

It went very well and I was very pleased. They sent one plumber who was at the home for 1-2 hours; he went above and beyond the call of duty. He recommended replacing a faucet, and I could replace that myself so I declined that additional service.

They put a new water main shut off valve in. He also change the shower fixture. The service was fine. He did the work and was pleasant. I did have to pay more, due to what I needed to have replaced.

On October 21, 2014, the water heater in my mother?s home was leaking. I called Parker & Sons because my 91-year-old mom had heard so many of that company?s ads, which were convincing to my mom. I did not see the leak or resulting damage, as I live 40 miles from mom. Parker & Sons sent someone named Ryan to mom?s home, and I spoke to him by phone. Because I live too far away to be physically present, I need to depend on contractors who are trustworthy and reliable in all respects. Ryan took a very aggressive approach on the phone with me. He quoted me $1300 + to replace the water heater. He also told me that there was excessive drywall damage to the built-in stand that the water heater sits on, and to the drywall leading into the house. He recommended his favorite demolition company who, he said, could start work in one hour to ?tear down the drywall, clean up the mess, and rebuild the damaged area.? Ryan said they would't charge much more than $1,000 (?a good price?, he said). I told him I needed to check with my mom?s insurance company first, and his aggressive response was: ?Absolutely don?t do that!!! Once they see rust on the water heater, the insurance company will deny the claim!? He said his demolition company will repair everything and never mention that the water heater had rust on it. That response made me nervous. I don?t think contractors should be advising customers not to call their insurance company. Ryan said the water heater failed due to the way our water softener was installed. He said the installer?s work was at the level of ?Schlocky Home Depot-level-do-it-yourself-ers?. I am sure the water heater failed because it was 12 years old, not because of the water softener, but Ryan seemed to relish downgrading other contractors. Parker & Sons? diagnosis of cause was an off-the-cuff, un-analyzed and unfair remark. Because Ryan?s aggressive and negative style raised a red flag with me, I wanted to get another quote on a new water heater. I told Ryan to leave my mother?s house, and I would call him back in a short while and let him know if we would use his company?s services. He told me, ?Our management does't allow me to leave the home if we might be installing a new water heater.? That didn't sit right with me, of course, and I told him to leave. An hour later, I had a quote for $950+ from Roy Dossey Plumbing (Chandler), a family-owned business, and the new water heater was on its way to my mother?s home. I called my mom, who informed me that Ryan was still waiting at the home, although he fortunately was outside. Roy Dossey Plumbing informed me that there was no drywall damage at all, just a wet stand that would be fully stable when it dried. Some time has gone by, and this has turned out to be correct. I called Ryan?s manager, Darrell Bingham, at Parker & Sons to inform him of what I believe to be unprofessional and discomforting behavior at my mother?s home, and with me on the phone. I left messages, but he did not call me back. I managed to get through to him on my third attempt. What could he do but apologize and make excuses for ?misunderstandings.? Thank God for independent, family-owned companies who build their business upon integrity, and are proud of it! My mom didn't get overcharged for the water heater, or tricked into buying services she didn?t need (demolition and rebuild). We have a fine new water heater in mom?s home, installed within a couple hours of the old product?s failure, accompanied by honest advice about the related drywall. I am afraid that Parker & Sons' big advertising budget brings them more business than good honest work.

Chad arrived and did a great job, explained everything and diagnosed our problem (broken line) but was still able to clean the line. He left us with an estimate that was fair for the repair of the line. Due to my unemployment at this time, we had to complete the repair on our own--it was mostly digging. I really appreciate that he gave such good service, especially considering that we used a coupon deal! I would definitely use this company again in the future (if I have a job).

He was very professional. Handled all three items well.

The plumber was scheduled for the special $99. for two hours of plumbing service at our rental home. He was called as he was leaving this job to come to our home for the sewer backup. He resolved the issue quickly and came back later with a special scope to assess the potential source of the obstruction. He did not have the scope in his possession given the unscheduled and urgent call. No obvious obstruction was identified.

First he asked for another $65.00. I went and got the printout of the deal and installing a faucet was on there for the "$99.00 for $200.00 Worth of Plumbing". I told him that the lady who set up my appointment said have something else available for him to do for my $200.00 dollars Worth of Plumbing! Well, he left after 30 minutes and I got no receipt. Very Disappointed!

It went great. He showed up 30 minutes early and got everything done in a timely matter. I now have a non-leaking toilet.

Two men showed up. They were professional and did a good job of clearing my kitchen sink drain which had drained very slowly. The had to remove the trap in order to "snake" the drain. Trap was reinstalled with no leaks and the sink now drains perfectly.

Fast and very responsive service. Phone reception was nice and helpful. This was an angies list deal and it still cost us about $1,100 to install less than $250 in parts. The total time the plumber was onsite was less than two hours including the 30 minutes it took him to write up the contract. So, bascially, we paid $850 in labor costs for an hour and a half worth of work. Despite that very high price, the plumber had to come back and re-install the disposal because it was leaking all over the place as soon as he left and the chain keeps failing off the toliets which I then had to adjust myself so it worked properly. When he did come back he tracked black goop all over our floors and my wife spent the better part of an hour cleaning all the scuff marks off our kitchen floor. Also had to throw out our kitchen towel as he used it as a rag to wipe his goopy hands off. Overall I felt we were tottaly ripped off and the guy who did our service was a slob and not a very good plumber. Usually services take steps to protect your floors like wearing those coverings for your shoes and asking for paper towels or bringing their own rags for cleanup. We would not use this service again.

Lisa from the local Tucson office called the same day I placed the order on Angie's List and scheduled the appointment within the week. Travis, the plumber, arrived on time and performed the service in a little more than an hour. He set up the video so we could follow the inspection. Travis was very friendly and took the time to explain the process, describing what we were seeing on screen, and answering our many questions. He pointed out important drain components, how we connected to the city sewer line, and the drain pipe's route from home to street. He provided a lot of helpful info. The test determined that our drains were in very good shape and no repairs were indicated. My wife had been concerned that a company might use the Big Deal as a way to spot questionable "problems" and upsell unneeded services, but that was not at all the case in our experience. As Travis noted, there are no long term guarantees that we'll never experience problems, but it was reassuring to observe the televising and see that there are no current or imminent problems. We will certainly engage this firm again for any future plumbing needs.

So the guy showed up right on time. He was nice and personable. Thats great. He had a camera and snaked out using the cleanout in front of our house. He used the camera to go from the cleanout to the street and from the cleanout under the house. Our sewer line under the house looked great so thats not the problem. He then proceeded to inspect the rest of the house, looking for stuff he could sell me. Whatever. I played along. Our house was built in 1964 so this stuff isn't new. He wanted to replace our water heater. Yes I know it is old. It works. Not going to do it. Plus it is in an outside storage area so if it does flood no big deal. I was working from home so this song and dance wasnt amusing me after a while. Anyway I got him to focus on what I paid him to do which was fix in the drain in the shower. So we got down to business. He tried to snake out the drain but kept pulling back soil. Not good. So obviously we have a failure in the system. He then went out to his truck and proceeded to write me u an estimate for 1800. I checked with a knowledagle person who I trust and thats not a bad price. The bad-- I went into the bathroom after he left and he left the drain grill and the screws on the floor. Not cool. Clean up after you are done. Also there was dirty water where his snake machine was -- not cool either. Also-- I am a female. I have dealt with men all my adult life that try to put the fear of God in me to do something right now. Thats not how I operate. I get facts, get second opinions and then mull it over. He was very pushy and wanted to schedule the demo of the bathroom to fix the pipe now. Whoa hoss. Not how I roll. Also he used language that was obviously trying to push me into doing something right now. I just didn't appreciate that part of it. Why I won't use them to do the work on the bathroom that admittedly I probably need-- if he can't clean up and put the grill back on the shower and re screw it back the way it was-- do I trust him to do a good job on something like demo'ing a shower? No I dont.

So glad to have no plumbing problems left. I was grateful they could schedule the work so quickly. LOVE THAT SENIOR DISCOUNT!

The service performed met my expectations.

Provider wanted to charge nearly $400 for the service, with credit for voucher -- net additional $300. Way too expensive!

The last plumber I had, 3 months ago, told me I needed $6,500.00 of work on my pipes, essentially replacing them entirely. This plumber told me that he saw none of the items listed by the last plumber: the tremendous tree root was actually a stain in the pipe, there was no collapsing pipe, water was flowing freely without impediment. He said my pipes were good for another 20 years. So, not only did this gentleman work without major fuss of equipment and man-power, but he came the day after I asked for an appointment even though I stressed it was not urgent, and he cautioned me against contractors who find multiple major problems with high price tags telling me to always get a second or third opinion.

Very helpful in discussing where the main sewer line entered the house, and also generally where it went out to the street. Discussions included that I had a cast iron line, which needed to be redone since I am remodeling and the cast iron could collapse at any time.
