Everything went very smoothly. I ordered a new toilet to be installed. He was friendly, professional and got done quickly.

Service Representative was thorough but was really persistent in trying to sell additional services.

We have leaking hosebib at condo we own in Tempe. I asked for quote to install pressure reducing valve, antisiphon valve, and new hosebib (existing ball valve is in good condition and operational). Company sent estimator who called with an estimate of $750 (which included $200 off "Big Deal". This seemed very high to me, so I asked for a revised quote without the PRV and was provided $502.64 which also seemed very high to me. Less the $200 "coupon" we bought for $99 "Big Deal", net was $302.64 plus $99 = $401.64. I asked for written quote on that scope on 2 occasions over 4 days. Quote was never sent. I called a third time and was directed to Mark at 1-800-Plumbing. Mark indicated that they price from a "book" with standard costs and they use very high quality materials. I ended up going with another A-Rated Angies list plumber (Cobra) who quoted $220 for the same scope and $330 including the PRV. I would like a refund of the $99 "Big Deal" I paid for.

The service tech was very professional and had a very good attitude. The receptionist that took my call was very nice and courteous. These people took a stressful situation and made it easy. I would definitely recommend these guys again and again.

From beginning to end, my experience with 1800 Plumbing was nothing short of excellent. Kim accepted my call to discuss with me what it was I needed, even though it was after hours. She was a delight and more than amenable to working with me to get an inspection done on a rental condo prior to the new tenant taking occupancy. Rod called me at the conclusion of his inspection and reviewed everything with me, as well as making recommendations for future possible work. He never tried to upsell me....just did what I needed at the current time. Everyone with whom I dealt was very honest and have great integrity. They are definitely on my list of companies to contact when I need their services...for the rental, as well as my residence. Thank you one and all! Working with you was a true pleasure.

Everything turned out nicely, and they did a good job considering the complicated nature of the project. Furthermore, scheduling was easy, the plumber was friendly and punctual, and he cleaned up after himself.

The dispatcher on Friday, January 9 told me that the technician would be at my home Saturday morning. I waited until 11:50 a.m. and then called to see where he was. I was then told that they do not make time appointments on Saturdays or Mondays as its their busiest time. Something I was not told. I wasted my entire morning which affected my wife and daughter. Very unprofessional!! I got a Melvin Mr. Parker!!

They did the work as specified, they did it well, and they were very professional and courteous while at the house.

They showed on time, responded quickly, and did the water heater flush as promised. However, the plumbing inspection was sorely lacking. Specifically, they didn't check several areas of the house, and I had to follow up with them about the issue.

I was happy with the results and the workmanship, but I feel the pricing was very high and the parts were marked up beyond a reasonable level after I did some research following the job. The list price for the services I did was $585 which I think is high for the work that was done, but most disappointing was the borderline misinformation that was provided in terms of parts. I was told the shower cartridge cost from the supplier was over $100 and was a specialized part and couldn't be found at a Home Depot or Lowes. I requested the part number before I would pay for the work and was given the package. I quickly found the part available on Amazon.com for $38 and confirmed it was in stock at Home Depot for $52. I was told by the repairman that I was charged a 25% markup on their cost which he insisted was over $100. The cost I found for the valve that was replaced was $10, and I was charged $76 total for that work. Only other parts were some wax rings which is another $10 max. My rough calculation is the parts cost no more than $70, which leaves $500 in labor at their list prices. Actual work time at my house was approx. two hours plus another hour where he was off looking for the parts. Back to the positive, I was informed that my leaky faucet parts were covered by a lifetime warranty and would be replaced for free by the manufacturer and I was provided with a contact number and the parts are being shipped to me at no cost. I think I'll try to install them myself or call a cheaper plumber.

They contacted me within the two business days as specified on Angie's List. They were on time, professional and very informative. It turned I had purchased the wrong fixtures for my project and the service technician advised that I needed to replace what I had in order for it to fit properly. He was very accomodating in helping me figure out and giving suggestions on my other plumbing needs. I was very happy with their professionalism and would recommend them to others.

I called the office to schedule the service, as I am a customer of their a/c division. They were able to fit me in the same day, but could not give me am estimate, even when I asked for a price range. They said the technician would provide the quote and If I didn't want to do the service, the trip charge of about $70 would apply. if the service was performed, the trip charge would be waived. Since I was a previous customer with great and fair service to fix my a/c, I scheduled the service. Unfortunately, this division probably has their technician on a high commission pay structure, as his quote was $150 for a job that has previously cost me $55 from another vendor a couple of years ago. Since I was already on the hook for $70 (for the trip charge), I authorized the service. It literally took him 3 minutes to complete the job and another 5 + minutes to go back and forth to his truck. He reluctantly reduced the invoice to $99 after I expressed my displeasure and after obtaining the supervisors names. I actually asked for the owners name, but he gave me the supervisor for the plumbing division. When I called the office, I verified the name and requested to talk to the owner instead. He was very professional and listened to my experience. To his credit, he asked several times how he can make it right. In my situation, I wasn't interested in getting a credit, but just wanted to make sure he knew that his plumbing division cost him an air conditioning customer.

Went great. Excellent work and knowledge and went beyond scope of work I paid for.

Employee had to come back and left company in meantime. Slipped through cracks and when I called in owner came out and finished job with no problems. Will recommend company.

My rating would be a B- if I had that choice. The first hot water tank was defective. They came out and checked it and said everything was fine. It continued to trip the breaker at night. They were adamant it had to be a bad breaker and said they wouldn't replace the tank until an electrician checked the breaker. The person I was talking to said he would reimburse me for the electrician if the breaker was not the problem. The electrician came said the breaker was fine. I had him put a new breaker in anyway. The tank tripped the breaker that night. Parker came and replaced the tank. I never got a dime for the electrician or the new breaker. I would have given them a rating if they had honored their word regarding the electrician.

Everything went great they were on time did the work reasonably

They told me what time they'd be there. He was 5 minutes early (perfect). Gave me a quote. Did the job in 30 minutes. Done.

Chad arrived on time and ready to work. He wore booties in the house to minimize the tracks. He explained everything he was doing, including the differences between water softeners and conditioners. He was professional, courteous, and friendly. He completed everything in a day, despite some setbacks, and he left everything neat and clean. I would use 1-800 Plumbing again and I would ask for Chad. Thanks for your hard work!

He did the service and tested the washing machine line three times. However, two days later it clogged again. He returned and ran the device through it four times, and tested it. It has had no problems since. There was no charge for the prompt return visit.

The sales man who came to my house was extremely knowledgeable and professional as well as respectful. It was clear that he had a history in this type of business and was able to explain it making it clear and in layman's terms. The service people who did the work were polite and efficient. There was no left over mess to clean up and everything works as it should

All went well. I had attempted to do the job, but could not and they completed it for me.
